14/06/2026: We came to eat as a group of six, and the experience was very disappointing. From the moment we ordered, the waitress didn't ask us what toppings we wanted for our pizzas, so we couldn't choose what we actually wanted. The service was clearly lacking in friendliness: no smile, little warmth, and a rather cold attitude throughout the meal. The bill only made things worse. Since she had only taken a few notes, she had trouble remembering what everyone had ordered. We simply tried to help her sort it out, but she curtly replied, "You're not going to tell me how to do my job." This kind of remark is truly inappropriate towards customers. We left with a very bad impression. It's a shame, because a little professionalism and politeness could have made a huge difference.

05/09/2026: After two attempts at this restaurant, two years apart, I am very disappointed with what my community has to offer. The restaurant doesn't provide a valid phone number for accessing information. Once there, the restaurant offers a limited selection of dishes, usually just two. So, we don't really have a choice. Furthermore, there's no option to pay by card, but since access to information is blocked, this comes as a complete surprise. I'm sad to have to leave this kind of review because our dishes are the best and should be shared. In that sense, a negative but constructive review might help bring about change and allow others to share our culinary delights.

16/09/2026: We visited the region and this pretty little port where the Taverne du Port is located. We received a very warm welcome, being wheelchair users. Unlike other restaurants where wheelchair users are not welcome, we were seated on the terrace. The atmosphere is friendly, attentive, and relaxing. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I highly recommend it. The menu is excellent and well worth the trip. Bravo to the whole team, especially Madame Orgerit from Vendée!

14/09/2026: We loved our dinner at La Taverne du Port. The menu, while small, still allowed us to choose delicious dishes and plates. The service was also very welcoming. I highly recommend it.

20/09/2026: I had a very bad experience with the security guard, who spoke to me in a particularly unpleasant manner. I can completely understand that dogs are not allowed in the establishment, but there's a way to speak to customers. I simply wanted to pick up an order; this could have been explained calmly and respectfully.

My request was particularly specific and included several details, yet everything was perfectly as requested. Beyond the quality of the service, I particularly appreciated her attentiveness, patience, and customer focus. You can feel a genuine desire to do things well and meet expectations. Thank you, Clara, for your professionalism and efficiency. It's always a pleasure to be welcomed and served by people so dedicated to their work. I will gladly return.

14/08/2026: Appalling quality. Completely burnt pastries sold without any scruples. Forced to buy food elsewhere. A blatant lack of respect for the customer. Look at the difference between the two chocolate croissants.

17/07/2026: I would definitely not suggest it. The quiche lorraine I got probably wasn’t stored properly, and definitely was several days old. It tasted bad and, most importantly, gave me food poisoning. However, the lady who worked there was kind.

25/09/2026: Disaster! The service is absolutely arrogant and completely clueless. Avoid this restaurant, which apparently only takes advantage of passing tourists. Even the 'manager' was insulting. DO NOT GO THERE!!

21/09/2026: I can't say how much I had enjoyed having lunch here, waiters were amazing especially guy with glasses who even showed me how to pick out snail, we took salmon and duck and its fantastic and big portion, I highly recommend this place😁😁

21/03/2026: With the new manager, it was exceptional! The food was excellent, especially the pizzas, which were truly delicious. I live next door and I'll definitely be ordering again. Everything is very good. The owner is incredibly welcoming and the service is very friendly.

27/02/2026: Express Kebab in Vannes remains a reliable choice: fresh ingredients, flavorful meat, excellent homemade sauces, and soft bread. The service is prompt and courteous, even late at night, and the value for money is good. The fries could be improved, but overall, it's very satisfying. Highly recommended.
