06/07/2026: My partner and I stayed at this hotel for two nights during the Half Ironman. We received a very warm welcome from Richard and his family. We highly recommend this hotel and restaurant. We ate very well, with a special mention for the Port-side Burger, which is excellent! The rooms are very nice, especially considering the short time we were there. Admittedly, it's a bit noisy on weekends, but earplugs are provided at reception and they did the trick perfectly. The location is ideal: just a three-minute walk from the beach, with a view of the harbor. The entire team is incredibly attentive and always available to help. We can't wait to come back! Thank you to the whole team!

28/06/2026: We had a wonderful 7-night stay at the Hôtel du Port and were delighted. The welcome was warm from the moment we arrived; the entire team was friendly, helpful, and very professional. The room was comfortable, clean, and pleasant, and the hotel's location is ideal for exploring Les Sables-d'Olonne on foot. A big thank you to the whole team for this lovely week. We will gladly return and highly recommend this hotel!

17/04/2026: It's really great: a buffet of appetizers, a choice of three main courses, a cheese buffet, and a buffet of delicious homemade desserts; wine and coffee included. The service was efficient, quick, and friendly. Well done, and keep it up!

19/08/2026: The pizzas were terrible, tasteless, and undercooked. As for the online promotion, forget it; it's an old ad that's no longer valid. Not very ethical. Avoid this place; keep walking.

17/06/2026: A logo and an SFCVH certificate are prominently displayed in the window, leading one to believe the establishment is halal. However, a quick glance at the appetizer menu reveals pork spring rolls. For those who strictly adhere to halal, the presence and handling of pork in the same kitchen (frying tanks, utensils) renders the certification on the window completely inconsistent and misleading. A blatant lack of transparency; look elsewhere if you're seeking a genuine halal caterer.

21/05/2026: My second visit. I ordered California maki sushi. I also ordered small fried rice and small noodles. The waitress gave me a dessert. I got it to go this time. The first time I ate in the restaurant.

16/09/2026: No idea about the food, but the staff were smiling and friendly, and the terrace was lovely.

16/09/2026: A quick stop in Cognac. The young, ginger-haired waiter was completely unprofessional, more of an artist than a waiter… The food wasn't any better… 20 minutes between courses… The owner lacked a personal touch. With only two tables at lunchtime…

28/09/2026: I come here about once every two months with a friend. It's our go-to spot. The owner and the servers are friendly. Sometimes it's busy, sometimes it's quiet. The place fills up depending on when the theater across the street closes. It's a fairly simple brasserie. The food is decent, though not exactly gourmet. I recommend it without hesitation.

07/09/2026: A classic and convenient Parisian brasserie for a quick bite in the area (especially since it's just steps from the Casino de Paris). The service is adequate and the atmosphere is decent, but the place lacks a certain something and charm. Nice enough for a quick stop, even if the neighborhood is full of places with much more character.

15/04/2026: I came to try this new concept at Tendre Poulet, and I can confirm the delicious homemade pasta. The portions are generous and tasty. I recommend it. Well done and best of luck to the whole team!

13/04/2026: Don't hesitate to go, the atmosphere is fantastic! The staff is welcoming! And they've recently started making homemade pasta with several sauces, all homemade with a quality and, above all, a quantity you've never seen before! Go for it!!!

12/07/2026: The waitress's attire makes Désiré wonder if he's really in a restaurant! Everything else is perfect: the couscous, the waiter, and the other waitress, but the other waitress's bare breasts seem to lack a bit of respect for the customers!

17/08/2026: The setting was very pleasant, but the waiters were in a hurry to see us leave.

10/08/2026: Asked for 2 cappuccinos and 3 croissants to go. Server made them, charged me, then informed me he had no coffee cups. It was too late to cancel so did my best to hold everything…until I spilled an entire cup all over my clothing. Wish he would have been upfront. Also, croissants tasted day old. Very disappointing.

26/09/2026: The restaurant is fantastic, the staff are incredibly welcoming, I give it a 10/10! I've never seen a restaurant like it before. Youyou is really great, all-you-can-eat, you can eat as much as you want, three times the service is really excellent, they're not messing around, you can get your hands dirty, it's great

09/08/2026: The service was top-notch: fast, friendly, and full of humor. Nothing better for a great time. The dishes are simple but satisfying and delicious. The restaurant is very well located with a lovely terrace.

07/08/2026: Zero for the service. Zero for the drinks (tasteless and overpriced granita for what it was). And the waiter didn't even invite us to order a single thing to eat. Please! Do this "restaurant" and yourself a favor... avoid this place!

12/09/2026: A Thai restaurant with lovely decor, the atmosphere is calm as it's not too crowded. The quality isn't anything extravagant, it's decent (special mention for the cashew chicken), however, judging by the size of the vegetables, even on the plates of the people at the next table, it looks like frozen products that are thrown together at the last minute.

18/07/2026: A near-diplomatic experience The service, to put it tactfully, teeters between indifference and the artful performance of minimalist interaction. Warm? That's about as effective as asking a refrigerator for a hug. As for the language, you'd better arrive with a B2 level of Thai under your arm, otherwise, culinary Russian roulette begins: you order fish, the universe decides it's chicken. A plot twist no one asked for. The portions flirt with the Zen concept of "less is more," except here, it's mostly less. The presentation deserves a special mention: a lone lettuce leaf, like an oasis lost in the middle of a plate so vast you could conduct a nuclear test on it. Welcome to the gastronomic plutonium field. And if a tax inspector from the Ministry of Finance happens to be passing by, go ahead, champ, take a look at the margins. Given the price/content ratio, there's plenty of opportunity to snag a promotion just by digging a little deeper.

25/09/2026: A lovely restaurant located by the sea. The staff are very friendly and attentive, always listening to the customer. The delicious homemade cuisine is made with quality ingredients. Perfect for a great time with friends.
