17/07/2026: The restaurant was difficult to find. However, the staff were very friendly and there was a very nice selection.

02/06/2026: Best queer bar in Montpellier, everyone is welcome, the bartenders are lovely, and the atmosphere is very friendly, even familial. A great bar even if you come alone, as the regulars won't hesitate to chat and make you feel comfortable. I've been there countless times and I'll be back as soon as it reopens.

03/03/2026: Hello, I wanted to share an experience I had last night at the Mélomane nightclub, organized by the Mercury Bar. I was discriminated against for apparently no valid reason. I was kicked out of the club, according to the organizers, who are clearly not open-minded. I have plenty of details I can give you if you'd like. Your response here is incorrect; are you saying this because you saw it yourself or because you were told about it? Unfortunately, I have witnesses who confirm my version of events: I was neither aggressive nor insulted anyone. However, yes, I did have poppers, which displeased one of the organizers, who did everything she could to get me removed. Neither I nor some people I know have seen your version of events. 09/04/2026: I came in for a herbal tea (€4.50) so I could work for a few minutes, and I was surprised by the waitress's rather unfriendly welcome. Her attitude was distant and unkind, which made me feel uncomfortable. I think a minimum of courtesy should be extended to all customers, regardless of their order.

23/03/2026: €1.60 for a dry, tasteless, mass-produced croissant made with margarine is a real shame.

03/05/2026: Decent food with a diverse menu. Portions are a bit on the small size and lack vegetables. The spring roll was quite nice and the soups were good. Service is a bit scattered though the server is very nice.

06/03/2026: A small, old-fashioned Asian restaurant that does its job. The food isn't extraordinary, but it's still very good. The service is friendly and pleasant. You'll have a good time.

18/05/2026: We only had a drink here on our way back from the beach. Two very friendly and helpful ladies working here today. Very reasonably priced drink as well. €10.60 for a local lager (which is very drinkable) and glass of white wine. The toilets are also very clean. Also the opening hours are slightly different to what is posted here in the Overview. See attached photo

30/04/2026: I'm pregnant. I desperately needed to use the restroom, everyone understands that, so I went into this bar. I politely asked if it was possible. A Russian woman (who works here as a manager, I suppose) replied coldly, "Do you speak Russian? First, you have to buy something. It's like that everywhere." Her tone completely shocked me. My husband bought a €2 espresso. Meanwhile, a French employee came over to speak to me kindly, which touched me a little. But in the restroom, I burst into tears. As a Russian woman, I felt as though one compatriot could be another Russian woman's worst enemy. We left the coffee unfinished—they'll get their €2 for that. I understand the rules: in France, you often have to buy something to use the restroom. But you can explain it with a little more humanity and gentleness, especially to a pregnant woman. Condescension, gratuitous nastiness, and aggressive generalizations ("it's like that in every country"). Very disappointed. I do not recommend it.

06/07/2026: Avoid this place! The waiter is incredibly disrespectful and sour. The atmosphere is charming and the food is good, but the prices are far too high for what is supposedly "homemade." The service is slow, and the waiters don't even offer a smile or a greeting. It's a shame their casual attitude completely ruins the experience. There are much better options nearby, such as Soprano, La Cabanne, or Zinc. Trust me, you'd be wise to get out of this place immediately.

26/06/2026: If you want to have a pleasant time in a nice restaurant, definitely don't go to this one. The manager showed an absolute lack of respect, kicking us out of a table where a waiter had seated us and which we had clearly reserved. No apology, she spoke to us like we were dogs, and strangely refused to explain who had supposedly reserved the table… It's outrageous to speak so rudely to people who have done nothing wrong. If I could give zero stars, I would.

02/08/2026: A rare burp! The glasses are dirty and stained, the food is simply dangerous. If you want to try a steak made from a boot sole, this is the place to go! The only consolation is the friendly staff. The boss or chef clearly has no common sense – to create such a "kitchen" in such a good place.

04/07/2026: The gentleman at the till was very kind; our tender wraps were very good, the breading on the tenders was excellent!

13/07/2026: The opening hours listed on the website are completely inaccurate. It's very unfortunate and frustrating!

03/06/2026: Excellent value for money. The restaurant is attached to the butcher shop where the meat served comes from. The atmosphere is really pleasant. The daily special (which I believe is offered regularly on Wednesdays) is a burger. For €15.50, it's hard to beat considering the quality and quantity of the patty, served with two artisanal buns and a very effective sauce. The homemade fries are excellent and perfectly complement the burger. The service is attentive and efficient. I'll definitely be back to try more of their dishes!

21/03/2026: An incredible end-of-season day with magnificent weather. The fire pit was amazing, far from overpriced for a resort, but absolutely delicious. Hats off to the cooks!

21/03/2026: The restaurant service needs to improve a lot. Since honhabagafat TRYO has nothing to do with the excellent service it had years ago.

24/07/2026: Friday, July 24, 2026 Around 6 PM, we ordered a milkshake and a drink. We were served a Happy Meal we hadn't ordered in addition to our order. No one touched the Happy Meal, and one of your employees came over and started yelling at us in a borderline insulting and vulgar tone, accusing us of dishonesty. He then addressed me informally and criticized me for using the informal "tu" with him in return. I absolutely do not recommend this restaurant; avoid it at all costs. The staff is rude and made offensive remarks.

24/07/2026: Unpleasant service; we were verbally attacked because we opened an order that they had mistakenly given us without our knowledge.

05/09/2025: It was a nice place that brought variety to the neighborhood, and now it's closed. Thank you.

22/08/2025: Sushi Ciel has closed, and with it, a piece of our world has vanished. This place was more than just a restaurant; it was a haven of light and flavor, where every meal became a cherished memory. Today, with Mr. Ung and all those who loved to walk through its doors, we mourn a fallen heaven, but we hold dear the tender glow of what it left behind. LEGEND

30/11/2025: The lounge bar of my student days...1977/1982...it was the place to be in the Plum district for night owls...cocktails, mega ice creams, club atmosphere...it's sad that this nightclub is closing soon.

19/10/2025: Extremely disappointing! We were at a student event between two cities, an event we'd been planning for a long time with the bar, and on the day, they didn't open the dance floor in the basement (and there wasn't enough room for everyone). Each time, they told us they'd open it soon, but in the end, it wasn't even open at the scheduled time (they opened around 12:40 AM instead of midnight). Eventually, the students got fed up and left the event. This is a complete lack of customer service and respect.
