22/06/2026: Truly an excellent establishment. A "lounge bar" where you can chat... where you can enjoy excellent coffee... (among other drinks, of course). Served by a team of young, experienced, very pleasant, and remarkably efficient staff. A couple who own the place run their establishment with the rigor of a city center, and a very simple, natural, and friendly approach to welcoming and interacting with customers. If you're in the city center, don't miss this place, whose terrace is also very inviting...

23/12/2025: Having been coming to this chip shop for many years, it's always just as good! I'm surprised by the 1-star reviews, which I find very harsh. The servers are very accommodating regarding how you like your fries cooked. The portions are incredibly generous, and the prices are very reasonable! I understand that bad experiences can happen, but these 1-star reviews seem really strange. And yes, we know that sometimes it can be busy and therefore there can be a wait (plot twist, it's like that everywhere...). I recommend it!

29/06/2026: A very pleasant discovery... excellent food, fantastic pizzas with thin crust and exceptional toppings that make up 80% of the pizza. Mrs. Lydie is very kind and welcoming! I also recommend the Thai tartare... lovely dinner, good food, very nice atmosphere!

26/04/2026: We went to this restaurant; the glasses weren't very clean, and there were very few fries on the plate (knowing that they were frozen). I really don't recommend this restaurant.

23/04/2026: We received a very warm welcome, even though we arrived without a reservation (a group of eight). The service was perfect. The oysters were excellent. The aioli was impeccable. Only the pizzas weren't a hit with everyone.

25/05/2026: This bakery was right below our airbnb, visited every single day and it was delicious and affordable, not to even mention the great selection and the nicest cashier/server, she was helpful and patient. Definitely will visit again!!💗

04/07/2026: €4.10 for a half-full caramel sundae!!!! And if you don't ask for peanuts, you don't get any! It's a disgrace. Don't even bother complaining, you'll get yelled at!!!!!

04/07/2026: Went to McDonald's tonight for sundaes for the kids, so €4.10 each for a tub that wasn't even half full and without peanuts. We went to the till to ask if it was normal for the tubs to be less than half full. The cashier coldly replied that it was the new regulation and that she couldn't do anything about it. I understand that, but to practically yell at the customer like that... 🙄 So, in addition to the exorbitant prices, we got half the quantity as before and the staff was incredibly unpleasant. The manager asked for more sundaes, but the cashier didn't like it and practically threw them at us, yelling, "Yeah, it's not the employees' fault, is it?" And they were still just as empty! 🤣🤣🤣 Never again McDonald's! Long live Quick!!!

11/03/2026: Visited La Salinière restaurant today after several years (March 11, 2026). Huge disappointment. Half a pizza (bakery-style) + a few salad leaves and a tartiflette (small portion) for €34 is very, very expensive, especially considering it's self-service with no table service! The only vegetarian option was the goat cheese and honey pizza. The only positive points were the pleasant staff and the nice view.

03/07/2026: At Brioche Dorée, you will find reasonable prices, and their products are also delicious.

07/06/2026: Brioche Dorée on the 3rd floor: the two brunette waitresses were incredibly unpleasant; it seemed like they didn't want to be there. In short, I won't be going back.

07/08/2026: Whatever you do, don't go there. I used to enjoy this club, but I can sadly confirm the strange outfits the owner accepts (sandals, t-shirts, sneakers, jogging pants, shorts, and so on. I didn't realize Paris was a beach when it's hot!). But that's not the worst part. I was there last night. I ordered a few glasses of champagne; the bartender told me it was €15 a glass, and the establishment's website confirms this. When I left, I noticed on my bill that the price had jumped to €20. I obviously expressed my disagreement, and Laurent, the owner, flew into a rage, becoming quite aggressive, even though I had done nothing wrong. I'll repeat my first sentence, "Whatever you do, don't go there." I'm adding this on August 6th. You guys are funny, aren't you? Editing your reply to my comment more than a month after my visit. I know perfectly well what I consumed that evening, and your response is a lie. I didn't have any particular champagne that evening, and certainly not with ice. If that had been the case, why didn't you say so in your first reply? You're changing your own words now. Is your reputation so fragile? As for the dress code, I think there's nothing to say. It's a fact; I saw it, and the number of comments proves it. You let people in dressed inappropriately, and I'm far from the only one saying it. Yes, everyone has the right to be accepted, but there are still limits. I'm sticking with my two stars because the staff is discreet and professional. I don't know who replied to my comments. Not even if that person was present that evening, since you prefer anonymity. However, the boss can be aggressive, and that's true, over very little.

14/07/2026: We had a wonderful time as a couple at this establishment. The staff are really friendly and welcoming, and the biggest plus is the hygiene, which is absolutely impeccable. We highly recommend it!
