12/07/2026: Simple but convenient stopover. Friendly owner and nice restaurant. Comfortable beds, no airco in rooms (but fans available). Staying with 2 adults and 2 kids.

14/04/2026: Not a great overnight stay. Very basic room, broken towel rack. Dinner? Well, pizza or... pizza. The carafe of red wine was a bit harsh. Breakfast was very standard (no dairy, no cold cuts, no fruit). All this for €120... I've had much better.

13/07/2026: The restaurant offers four air-conditioned meeting rooms, a very welcome detail! Friendly service, a family atmosphere, and a good selection of appetizers and desserts at the buffet. I recommend it!

26/06/2026: I wonder what was drier: the bread, the cheese, or the mashed potatoes. The beetroot in the cold buffet was inedible (I pointed it out to the waiter, who clearly didn't care). As for the dessert, two spoonfuls were enough to stop the carnage. The first was to break the crust on top (everything in this restaurant is definitely dry), and the second was enough to completely kill my appetite. The coffee, however, was very good, which justifies the single star in this review.

22/06/2026: I ordered a rare burger and they brought me a shoe leather sandwiched between two slices of bread. I asked if it was possible to change it (which the friendly waiter agreed to) and they brought me pretty much the same thing...

03/06/2026: A very bad experience at this restaurant. I ordered a steak that arrived way overcooked. After sending it back to the kitchen, it was served again, but undercooked, cold, and topped with cheese that hadn't even melted. The Maroilles sauce was just as disappointing: there were chunks of unmelted cheese and the sauce was unevenly prepared. Unfortunately, the service didn't improve things. From the moment I arrived, the staff couldn't tell me what the daily special was, which gave a general impression of a lack of professionalism and preparation. Between the cooking errors, the poor quality of the side dishes, and the amateurish service, this experience was a real disappointment. I do not recommend this establishment in its current state.

17/07/2026: I went today around 8 PM for a takeaway bobun and received one with leftover beef curry or something similar, the origin of which I don't want to know. It was nothing like what I've eaten there before: a terrible rating for a terrible meal. Sure, it was served in under 5 minutes, but it was clearly recycled food and it wasn't good. I don't recommend it.

09/06/2026: I agree with the comments about the unpleasant staff; I was actually yelled at for a takeaway order because I don't speak the language, it's unbelievable.

17/03/2026: What more can I say than it's a rip-off! I ordered a Tuna Sandwich, with a capital T, because, of course, it was just tuna. And it was clearly made in a rush. There was only tuna in the middle... Even for just one ingredient, it's not well done, seriously...

18/03/2026: Just had a beer on the terrace. Only downside, the terrace isn't sunny all day.

02/03/2026: Well… if you have an hour and fifteen minutes of your life to waste, feel free to go to this shop where the atmosphere was not for sale, just like the drinks. 1 hour and 15 minutes for 3 Viennese chocolates (which we didn't even get), nobody to come and see us… I do not recommend it.

16/05/2026: AVOID AT ALL COSTS: Unfriendly service, everything is frozen, and the portions are extremely small. Frankly, we were very disappointed. A tourist trap!

16/05/2026: I ordered a salad as a meal; there was more lettuce than filling, no flavor, and the seafood was rubbery. Far too expensive for what it was! Too bad, we won't be back.

17/07/2026: I'm only talking about the "ice creams and sorbets." Having tried both, I can advise you to avoid this establishment. You'll only find so-called homemade products here that are loaded with sugar.

14/07/2026: We ordered sorbets and bottled water; the waitress was helpful and smiling! We found the ice cream very good and exactly as we requested!

24/05/2026: In May, there were few people, and on this Friday evening, the eve of Pentecost, there was no one at all. We had a small view of the port, a bit distant. The owner (if she was the owner) gave us a very pleasant welcome, and the service was satisfactory. The vegetarian salad was very generous and delicious. The curried mussels were also good. The ice cream was good. The price was reasonable.

14/04/2026: The service was decent, the atmosphere was okay despite the fact that we couldn't choose where to sit (there was no one there), but most importantly, I ordered mussels in curry sauce and the result was: I vomited twice that same evening, got food poisoning, and had a stomach ache for three days. I don't understand it because my friend who ordered mussels in cream sauce was fine, and I'm not intolerant or allergic.

14/06/2026: Terrible service, owner drunk (both of them), what a disgrace! They harass customers and threaten to hit my wife… frankly, businesses in Rambouillet have changed drastically. Absolutely avoid this place.

14/06/2026: The owner threatened to hit my mother and her friend, threw the desserts onto the road across the street, took away the drinks they had paid for, and politely told them to "get out, get out." Avoid at all costs!

17/10/2025: The tents were basic, and since it was the end of the season, the food was limited. Clothes got damp. Drying facilities were limited to dryers, and there were no rooms. Wi-Fi was only available in the common room.

03/10/2025: We have visited every year in a campervan for more than 10 years and the campsite is consistently welcoming and good value for money. You can pick your own secluded pitch and the toilets, showers and washing up areas are clean but you need to bring your own toilet paper. Plenty of trees, red squirrels and birds. Often a large group of youngsters at the surf camp on site, but they are friendly and no trouble. The walk to the beach has been refurbished this year and it has injected a new lease of life into the area. The beach is gorgeous however, the sea is really not suitable for children with huge crashing waves, strong currents and a steep shelf.

20/07/2026: Tasteless white mocha. It's as if the coffee was only used to color the hot milk.

10/07/2026: With the high temperatures and products left on display all day, the risk of food poisoning is high. I bought a sandwich yesterday evening around 6 pm and I was sick all day. Thanks a lot 👍

05/07/2026: Usually not disappointed by the service, but yesterday... We went to get two sandwiches. We ordered halal chicken sandwiches and asked if they had any non-halal chicken because my girlfriend is Christian. She doesn't eat halal, which seems logical to me. The waitress glared at us with such hatred because we didn't want to eat halal chicken. Unfortunately, we said so, and it didn't go down well.
