16/08/2026: A well-groomed, forty-something Genevan man who doesn't smoke or drink, but the bouncer tells me he only lets regulars. Well, hats off to all my Swiss friends passing through La Baule! Go ahead and give your CHF to the cloud next door. The owner and management are much nicer.

27/09/2026: High prices.. only because it is close to the tower.. 2 people €80 as an idea.. the bread served was a bit hard.. otherwise the food was ok.. the service was OK.

27/09/2026: We went to share a chocolate bar and she wouldn't let us; she just wanted us to spend money and it didn't look good at all.

18/09/2026: This McDonald's has improved a lot... a very friendly and helpful team... fairly quick table service. The portions are decent. The place is clean and well laid out.

They advertise a 10% discount on takeaway orders (visible on the receipt), and when we asked why they hadn't applied the 10% discount, they simply replied: "We don't apply that discount here. It's a note made at the group level." That doesn't exactly scream honesty...

27/09/2026: One of the few McDonald's that's clean, with a friendly and efficient staff. You can tell they're really busy in the kitchen and with the service. We live nearby, and when we go shopping near Kergaradec and need a quick bite, we always prefer to come back to this McDonald's, after disastrous experiences at other places. The manager (I imagine) pitches in every Saturday. As a result, the service is very fast, without any mistakes (at least not on-site). No problem getting extra sauces or napkins. The amount of cheese in the fries is generous, which is quite rare and worth mentioning.

29/08/2026: I can't give zero stars, so I'm giving one. The waitress was incredibly rude. I ordered mussels and fries, and they still hadn't arrived after an hour, while all the other tables around me were being served. The waiters didn't even look at the dining room, and after several requests, there was no apology or explanation. I left without eating, feeling sick to my stomach! Disgusting! Absolutely avoid this place.

29/08/2026: Truly attentive and energetic service to help us relax. A wonderful time at this restaurant, the perfect way to end our holiday in La Rochelle. The food was impeccable. Thank you to the whole team.

20/09/2026: You shouldn't expect too much from a meal here… I ordered the €51 "Pleasure" menu and was very disappointed. The dishes lacked flavor, the seasoning was practically nonexistent, and the portions were tiny. The price is completely disproportionate to what you get on your plate. Furthermore, the service is really subpar. For a restaurant located in a 4-star hotel, I find this quite unacceptable. It's perfectly possible to find other restaurants offering similar specialties at a much better price. I don't recommend it.

15/09/2026: We were forced to dine two nights in a row at this establishment, and were very disappointed... the service is very slow, a parade of waiters running around, groups have priority over other customers, the food is bland and tasteless, only the desserts from a pastry chef are excellent, plus very poor value for money, the establishment sent us another night to another of its restaurants: La Ferme, and here the food was excellent.

06/09/2025: I came by one evening, there were two of us around 10 p.m. to eat there. As soon as we arrived, the manager gave us a very bad welcome, his expression tense and surprised to see us. He told us coldly with a grimace on his face that it would not be possible to eat there without giving any other information. I went to the waitress to ask her for 2 pizzas to take away, which I was able to get. Regarding this manager, I don't know the probable reason for his bad look, but I think it's really a big lack of professionalism.

23/08/2026: Excellent value for money at this restaurant. The dishes are high-quality and well-prepared, and the service is quick and efficient. The only downside: the location, situated in the casino's entrance hall, could be improved to offer a more pleasant setting that matches the quality of the food.

23/08/2026: A wonderful discovery! The menu wasn't extensive, but that's precisely what made it so appealing, as everything is homemade. We had a delicious meal. The quality-to-price ratio is excellent, no complaints whatsoever! The place is pleasant and very clean. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely stop by again.

16/08/2026: We had a very tasty meal. A bit pricey, but the food was well worth it. The hostess was very friendly, but the rest of the staff was rather surly. That detracted from the experience somewhat.

02/10/2026: ⭐☆☆☆☆ Very disappointed with my experience. I didn't like the kebab I ate at all. After the meal, I got sick. My brother, who also tried a bite of my kebab, also got sick. So we had a very bad time. I can't say for sure that it was the kebab that caused it, but this experience was truly disappointing.

05/07/2026: I ate at this Greek restaurant for lunch today and it was a pleasant surprise, especially Mehmet at the till; he was very welcoming and helpful. The portions were generous, the meat was good, I recommend it!

22/06/2026: I don't understand why, despite the reviews stating that you have to go to the pump several times to get a receipt as proof of payment, you haven't reacted and haven't even responded to the reviews... amateurism? negligence? incompetence? Do you think about the salespeople or others who need this proof of payment to get a refund or simply to have a record in case there's a problem with the fuel? There are no issues at the Carrefour station in La Marne, and I think the fuel flow must be similar, yet they manage... give them a quick call and you'll surely get the answer to your problem.

05/06/2026: All the screens went off at the same time, making it impossible to use the petrol pump.

08/09/2026: 10 euros for a pint of beer is clearly a rip-off. They really should review their prices; it's more expensive than Paris. The atmosphere isn't great either.
