08/08/2026: I'm truly sorry to leave such a negative review because the service wasn't bad, hence the two stars ⭐️ ⭐️. Fred was very friendly, but unfortunately, that wasn't enough to save a suggested dish of "Sea bass fillet with salad and seasonal vegetables" that was more suited to a "Flunchy" restaurant. I'll let you judge from the photo, and I didn't eat it, I just cut up what appeared to be breaded sea bass fillet!? I would say: dipped in a tasteless, bland mush... A rice dish, with a wine-like aroma, mixed with cream and mushrooms, was served without being mentioned. 🤷🏼‍♀️ The vegetables (plural) consisted of 10 frozen green beans tossed in oil with no garlic, no parsley, no seasoning 🤦🏼‍♀️ and a sprinkling of salad from an open bag… In short, avoid this place because, to get this plate, knowing that there were two of us and only three tables were having lunch, we waited over an hour 😬 Avoid at all costs! 🤦🏼‍♀️🍽️

26/06/2026: Honestly, for a brasserie, the daily specials are really tasty and well-thought-out. The menu is also very appealing, and the value for money is excellent. The fish is fresh and cooked perfectly. A typical Marseilles atmosphere.

10/09/2026: An extremely disappointing experience today at Marie Blachère. The saleswoman served me four baguettes with her bare hands, without using gloves or the utensil designed for handling bread without direct contact. This is all the more surprising given that previous customers had been served with this utensil… I simply pointed out that I found this practice unhygienic and asked that I be served using proper hygiene practices. Instead of taking my comment into consideration, the saleswoman became annoyed and behaved in a particularly unpleasant manner. She also addressed me informally, even though I didn't know her at all. What deplorable service and a wonderful image for the brand… I find this way of doing things completely unacceptable, both in terms of hygiene and customer service and respect. Faced with this situation, I have obviously decided to write to Marie Blachère's headquarters to report these events. I strongly advise against this establishment. When you buy bread, the least you can expect is to be handled with respect for hygiene standards and to show a minimum of courtesy towards customers.

25/07/2026: We managed to get a table on the terrace despite our late arrival. From the very first conversation, I sensed a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere; we quickly felt at ease. The brasserie is located on a pedestrian street opposite the covered market. I soon realized that most of the customers were regulars. We ordered aperitifs and main courses; we weren't in a hurry, and the terrace was truly lovely. The dishes were delicious, generous, and homemade. My husband had lasagna, and I had seafood risotto with prawns. For dessert, we indulged in profiteroles and rum baba. I was definitely not disappointed—finally, a real rum baba with rum! We will be back very soon, and I highly recommend it.

19/08/2026: We were greeted after service hours with a smile from the waitress. The manager was very attentive. The meal was delicious! I recommend the meat sourced from the Haute-Loire region. A wonderful experience.

04/04/2026: The atmosphere is dirty, and they're arrogant and slimy. It's unfortunate to hear them mock ALL their customers behind their backs, including the poor Italian regulars. A miserable attitude.

01/03/2026: Absolutely avoid this place during the Lemon Festival. The waitresses and the owner asked us to leave the terrace while we were ordering and waiting in line because no waitress was taking our order on the terrace (after a 20-minute wait)! A complete lack of courtesy! Total disorganization!

24/05/2026: Ordered the cordon bleu. It was so overcooked, I couldn’t cut it with a steak knife. They replaced it with a carpaccio that was VERY chewy. Perfectly fine place for a drink, but don’t eat here…

22/09/2026: €24 for a meal with a burger included; at that price, I'd go to an all-you-can-eat restaurant and eat lobster.

20/09/2026: The worst Quick in the entire world that I've ever been to. The manager, a bit balding, very bitter; UNPLEASANT, throws money around instead of giving it properly, the food temperature is poorly managed, incredibly cold, not a single smile. Everyone in the queue was complaining. There was even a group of girls in the queue from Belgium who said that it's because of people like him that Parisians have a bad reputation for customer service. I confess I feel sorry for his team having to work with only one person like that. How can a guy like that be a manager?!

19/08/2026: Very disappointed with my visit to Marie Blachere in Tignieu this morning. Upon entering the store, I saw a sign advertising an apple tart for €5. Since the tart wasn't on display, I asked the sales assistant if they had any. She said yes and went to get one for me from behind the counter. What a disappointment when I opened the box! The tart I received was nothing like the one shown on the sign. It was simply a pastry base with apple slices placed on top, without any trace of compote or filling. In addition to its unappetizing appearance, I found it completely tasteless and very disappointing. For €5, I expected at least a product resembling the one pictured. I find it regrettable to display a picture of a tart that doesn't match the actual product being sold. I've attached a photo of the tart I received so everyone can form their own opinion. Very disappointed with this experience at Marie Blachere in Tignieu.

22/07/2026: Sá sells sandwiches that are stale. The bread is so hard and too salty. Avoid them.
