30/11/2025: Pizza bought tonight on the way back from the weekend, from the vending machine. €22.50 for two absolutely disgusting pizzas!!!! Just dough, nothing but dough, and it was bad, waterlogged, and there was nothing inside. We're used to getting pizzas from vending machines, which are usually pretty good, but this was a huge disappointment.

11/11/2025: I enjoyed the meal; it was nice, I would come back.

13/09/2026: I was with a friend who had come from Paris, I invited him to go for a drink in this place I'd never seen before. The bouncer with a lot of braids asked me for €50 to let us in. Since when does that exist? Since the entrance of a bar, please?

18/08/2026: A pleasant place, even if the music plays on a loop every night. The wait for a drink is still a hassle, and the service is quite slow, especially when the staff are chatting amongst themselves. Affordable prices... Overall, a mixed review.

31/08/2026: Hello, I stopped by this morning to buy four baguettes at €3.80 each, as well as the "Petit Malin" offer at €5. This should have made a total of €8.80, but the cashier charged me €11.80 because she had entered the items individually instead of applying the offer. When I went back, she replied, "Oops, she didn't know." An incompetent woman who just wants to take the money and doesn't listen to the customers.

26/08/2026: Update: 08/21/26 Returning to the area, received a wonderful welcome from a young saleswoman (brunette, cap), smiling, welcoming, very helpful, and full of good advice (the brookies were delicious). Top-notch! 👌 I'm revising my previous review: atmosphere and service deserve 3 to 5 stars. August 25: The welcome could be improved; a little less coldness and a less aggressive tone (perhaps unintentional) would be better towards customers... The "brownie" was very good but more like a soft cake. The "chocolate chip rolls" were very good, but ideally, making them less greasy would be even better. 😉

10/05/2026: The owner gave a disastrous welcome! We were supposed to have dinner at 7 pm and they close at 8 pm! Breakfast is at 7 am and they close at 8:30 am! We had to leave our rooms at 9:30/10 am! It's a disgrace, especially after working all night! The rooms are freezing! Avoid at all costs! There's music at night on weekends because it's close to a nightclub!

29/04/2026: On our 4-day cycling trip between Paris and London, the St Aubin was a wonderful stopover between Paris and Dieppe. A fantastic welcome, secure bike parking, and a great Indian restaurant for a relaxing break.

01/09/2026: A DISASTER 😱🤦‍♀️ AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I ordered a lemon tart for 10 people, a whopping €47, at that price you'd expect to have a good time. I made sure to specify that it was essential to use nothing but lemon due to severe food allergies among the guests. Yes, even apricot glaze, sir, difficult to understand from the start, yet it seems to me that a basic understanding is necessary when discussing food allergies 🙄. Well, despite all my explanations and precautions, they managed to add candied orange peel to the top 🤦‍♀️. Because when they say NOTHING BUT LEMON, they mean NOTHING BUT LEMON. And since it was my father-in-law who came to pick it up, he didn't know... Let's not dwell on the lack of awareness regarding the seriousness of food allergies; the pie crust was simply inedible, as hard as a rock. And for good reason: it had been made the day before in the afternoon. I know this for sure because I actually called the day before to ask for an 8-slice pie instead of a 10-slice one, and they told me the crust was already made and that nothing could be changed. Fantastic. The lemon filling didn't improve the situation. And to top it all off, it was for my daughter's first birthday. She's had lemon many times before, no problem, but this time she had a severe allergic reaction, all over the lower part of her face, red and swollen. Nothing serious, we didn't end up in the emergency room, but still. I don't know what they put in this damn device, but damn, for €47 it's starting to add up to a lot of nonsense. When I read other comments now, I should have taken the time to read them.

25/04/2026: Yesterday I bought a slice of lemon cake. It was hard (stale) and tasteless! So I threw it in the bin 😖 How dare they?

24/08/2026: My husband had a delicious ribeye steak and a flambéed Calvados crêpe, as well as a Neufchâtel cheese crêpe which was also very good. The waiter was very pleasant.

17/08/2026: The mussels and fries with bacon and mushrooms are delicious, the raclette galettes are generous, the waiters are top-notch, smiling, welcoming and really attentive, the restaurant has a nice atmosphere

16/09/2026: I came with my wife for an exam across the street and ended up in this little restaurant for lunch. What a pleasant surprise! The two ladies were smiling, the prices were reasonable, the homemade fries were delicious, and the homemade desserts were fantastic. We were thrilled.

06/05/2026: An unpleasant manager to her employees who are struggling to serve. The organization is deplorable. Mini bottles of mineral water (33ml) are charged at the price of champagne! And, worst of all, the expiration date is several months past. I don't even want to see what's going on in the refrigerators and the kitchen. Run away!

01/09/2026: €2.20 for a coffee is excessive, which is a shame because I really like this place 😍

23/08/2026: We waited ages before anyone came to ask if we wanted a drink. Then, we had to flag down a waitress who never even bothered to check if anyone needed anything before ordering. I ordered grilled cuttlefish, as did my wife. We were offered bread, and I said I'd like some, while my wife ordered a glass of wine. The cuttlefish had no flavor whatsoever, apparently frozen cuttlefish that had been cooked and forgotten, then barely reheated. So, not golden brown, not a hint of crispiness; it felt like I was eating tagliatelle. The sauce and seasoning were tasteless. Presentation: cuttlefish served in a bowl... The fries were good, though. The portions were really nothing special. We never saw the bread or the wine, and since the waitresses never check if anyone needed anything... The table behind us was particularly noisy. Frankly, one of the worst restaurants I've ever been to. The beers were just cold. First and last time.

08/08/2026: The person I spoke to on the phone (who happens to be the one who created the website—so I assume the owner) was very unpleasant. She raised her voice because we asked for a Margherita (tomato, mozzarella... nothing more), before telling us they didn't have anything like that, but "only tomato pizzas with mozzarella"... Go figure. To put it simply, we're half Italian, so we're quite particular about pizza. Besides, the pizzeria located in Lunel Nord, in the small residential area not far from the Jacques Brel nursery school, is a real pizzeria! The old Hut Pizza in the town center was also better. In short, the quality leaves much to be desired, which in no way justifies the attitude of the person we spoke to on the phone. Personally, I'd avoid it.

23/07/2026: A bizarre phone call for an order! I wanted to order a pizza for 9:15 PM, and the person who answered had a condescending attitude because, apparently, they wouldn't be there after 9:15 PM (if that's the case, change your posted hours instead of making a mockery of your customers). To top it all off, I got a "9:15 PM at the latest, otherwise you won't eat," and colleagues laughing in the background. So, the order was canceled, and I won't be going back, even though we've always ordered from there as a family. There's no way I'm giving money to people who don't want to work.

05/09/2026: Decent value for money. Nice location. But the restaurant owner must have been in a very bad mood. He was rather unpleasant. What a shame.

12/08/2026: Absolutely avoid this place. The buffet was terrible, left out in the open because it was so dry. The bone-in ham with mustard sauce was truly disgusting. No fries, just bland pasta and green beans with no seasoning. The gizzards were boiled in water with a salad that was just as overcooked as the beans. And don't even get me started on the disgusting dessert. The floating islands were several days old with mold stains. The star rating corresponds to the drinks. And I won't even mention the smell coming from the kitchen and the number of flies. I suspect either a decomposing corpse or a fly-friendly guesthouse. In short, there's a time to shut everything down or at least keep the bars open. PLEASE STOP THIS RESTAURANT BUSINESS!

10/09/2026: At 9:30 AM, it was impossible to get a burger, which is a shame; it used to be possible.

29/08/2026: Extremely slow; for fast food, this is unacceptable, even during peak hours. Avoid it.

15/09/2026: RUN AWAY! Appalling welcome and service! Both the blonde and brunette waitresses should find another line of work! Not a smile, unpleasant, and with absolutely no customer service skills! Instead of retaining 13 customers who were on vacation and might return, we will never set foot in this restaurant again. By the way, it really should change its name; it's anything but friendly and welcoming!

14/09/2026: What can I say... this restaurant is stuck in the 80s, with questionable hygiene and haphazard service. Things get even worse on the plate: tasteless mussels, and a "ficelle picarde" that's a "ficelle picarde" in name only (undercooked crepe, small pieces of ham and frozen mushrooms, all completely flavorless). Avoid at all costs; it's a tourist trap.

09/09/2026: We went there with friends today. I confess I don't understand the ratings. We were served in large cardboard trays, but the portion was ridiculously small! Why put it in such large trays when there's practically nothing in it? Upon arrival, a huge sign outside advertised a student offer. Not seeing it on the kiosks, we politely asked about it. We were informed that the offer couldn't be applied and wouldn't be available until Tuesday (it wasn't very clear), yet the sign didn't mention a date. I wanted to order the Drunken noodles, but they didn't look anything like the pictures; some items were missing. It must be said that the noodles were extremely spicy. Several of us ate, and everyone else's dishes were also very spicy, almost inedible. In the end, we had to order water. A customer sitting next to me was politely told it was too spicy for her, but received no further explanation or even an apology. The cook, however, was nice. In short, for the same service, I preferred Pitaya.

07/09/2026: Anthony is super professional, super kind, and pleasant. I highly recommend him; he deserves a raise. He's truly kind. I'll gladly come back to order again with this kind of service. Give him a raise! 😄
