19/01/2025: Title: Very disappointed by the lack of seriousness I would like to share my recent experience in a restaurant which was disappointing to say the least. When I arrived there, I noticed that the name displayed did not correspond at all to the one I had reserved. Furthermore, what a surprise to discover that the restaurant was closed without any prior notification! It is unacceptable that an establishment does not take the trouble to inform its customers of changes or closures. This shows a real lack of professionalism and consideration for customers. I was looking forward to discovering their menu, but this experience left me with a bitter taste. In summary, I am very disappointed by this lack of seriousness and I would not recommend this place until they improve their communication with customers.

23/09/2024: Accueil et service parfaits malgré une salle (RD et étage remplies un samedi soir).Serveuse souriante et attentive aux demandes des clients. Pizzas et desserts très bien. Soirée correcte.

21/09/2024: Très mauvaise expérience. La pizza immangeable, garniture de mauvaise qualité. La pâte semble surgelée et s'effrite ! Adresse à bannir !

22/08/2024: Smiling and very welcoming, very good baguettes, fresh and crispy at all times.

23/09/2024: Wine (recommended by the super helpful waiter) and food were both excellent. The only surprise of the evening was the the size of the bill. It seemed way too small for such great quality.

11/09/2024: The guy front of house could not have been more helpful. The food was served very promptly but there was no rush to finish. The food itself was very good and tasty. Overall I would really recommend but you need to book!

29/07/2024: the food was cold and when sent back to the kitchen to be heated up it returned just as cold, very poor service, no bread offered

24/07/2024: Nous avons été attirés par le cadre enchanteur et la proximité de la Charente … jolie terrasse … tout commence bien … Le serveur charmant nous demande d’éviter une entrée car la cuisine ne va pas suivre … bizarre … on prend le risque (nb une heure et demi après on était sortis ) Les plats sont fades. On fait mieux à la maison … le carbonara : on y a tous les quatre goûté, voici nos commentaires : Pas bon ! Goutte l’eau ! Et perso j’y trouve un goût de vanille pas bon du tout !!! La pizza est fade Le rigatoni devient une simple pâte … sans intérêt Bref n’y allez pas ! Point positif : le cadre à l’intérieur est très chouette …

30/04/2024: An excellent restaurant for its delicious cuisine but also for its pleasant service. I highly recommend it if you want to eat good traditional Italian dishes.

31/08/2024: This is a beautiful and very well located hotel in Beaune, just a short walk across the street into the old town. The receptionist was very courteous and showed us to our room. We didn’t request parking in the underground parking, which was full for the night, but we easily found free parking across the road under the trees (be careful of bird droppings). The hotel has a strict cancellation policy, we were traveling with an elderly relative and booked a few days in advance, but then the relative changed plans, so we were stuck with two rooms because the cancellation policy is five days in advance. After many calls we were able to get one room canceled. The room we booked was a family room that consisted of a double bed, bath on one level and a loft with a pullout couch bed that our teenage daughter really loved, it even had some type of music player that she was immediately able to connect with. We don’t usually stay at 5 star hotels, we only booked it for our relative and would have cancelled if we had been able to, but looking back at it it was a real treat to stay that one night at a top notch establishment. 17/08/2024: Déjeuner pour 3 (2 adultes et 1 enfant) à l extérieur dans un joli jardin ombragé, arboré et frais. Nous avons tous pris le menu Tradition (il existe un menu enfant). Service, présentation, plats délicieux. La brigade est discrète et efficace pour nous présenter les plats et répondre aux éventuelles questions. Je recommande vivement !

08/03/2026: Spacious room, king-size bed, and incredibly comfortable bedding. The en-suite bathroom was a lovely size, with a bathtub 🤩. Kettle, tea, and coffee were provided. The reception staff were attentive, gave clear explanations about how everything worked, and even refilled my water bottle before I left the next day. Great! I didn't try the ground-floor dining room as I ate outside, but it was nearly full, offering a set menu with a starter, main course, and dessert. A terrace (table and two chairs) was included since the room was upstairs.

29/07/2024: How can I say so as not to be too derogatory and remain objective...: A real tourist trap! For the fried steak: Bread not fresh, which is noticeable even under the press, a poor chopped steak with sauce, no flavor, no freshness, no seasoning... In short, dry and tasteless. And for the Panini “Croque”, we still wonder where this comparison with croque comes from? So little ham and cheese that the Panini was half full... All this for €16.80 with a can. It's May, it seems that the season is going to be long for the person who runs the snack bar, given the reception and the taste of the sandwiches... Too bad, the time is long gone when we ate good mussels and fries and others at Yannick's... Move on

09/07/2024: We stopped here during our vacation, the service was quick, the chef was quite nice and I loved my panini 😇👍

21/08/2025: The service is always excellent. I was slightly disappointed by the menu change; the set menus are gone (now everything is à la carte). The dishes are still good and generous.
