08/08/2026: I'm writing this review primarily to thank Momo and his entire team. They were professional throughout. I arrived during the rush; they had a huge number of orders to prepare, but they remained calm and focused, trying to minimize the wait time for customers. I want to emphasize Momo's professionalism once again. I will be back.

01/08/2026: Poor boss... the female employee takes large sums of money from customers to buy their tobacco in Italy! She's competing with French tobacco! For a tobacconist, it's a disgrace!! They really rip you off afterwards, since they take your money and only give you back the "total" plus a month later! I was behind the woman when the switch happened! A disgrace... a total disgrace, we'll never go there again!

16/08/2026: Warning: ordering a coffee, besides costing you far too much, is likely to elicit a sigh of disapproval from that obnoxious waiter who deigned to speak to you. Worse, if you ask to use the restroom, you'll be literally yelled at: "If everyone did what you do..." Well, if everyone did what he does, the entire restaurant industry would go bankrupt. A word to the wise!

16/08/2026: Terrible service, exorbitant prices. €5.40 for a coffee. No smiles, they look down on you if you only order a drink. This man should retire; frankly, he has absolutely no aptitude for working with the public.

18/09/2026: We were thrown out after more than 20 years of coming here. After a clumsy gesture—I simply snapped my fingers to ask for my dessert, which I'd waited 30 minutes for—the owner's son flew into a rage. Despite my apologies, after more than 20 years and many wonderful meals, we will never return. This rude man clearly displayed his resentment and hatred towards native French people... we didn't deserve this humiliation, and we remained... speechless.

17/09/2026: Over an hour's wait. Carpaccio with absolutely no seasoning, no oil, vinegar, or any other condiment. Completely tasteless. Plus, the fries were cold. Only the price was good. Avoid this place...

28/12/2025: Well located, and drawn in by the attractive presentation of the dishes, we went in. Although we knew the dishes were fake, we wanted to order some. Alas, it was all for show. None of the dishes were actually prepared. False advertising! The rest of the food was subpar, lacking freshness, and reheated. Not to mention the "freshness" of the restrooms.

03/12/2025: Avoid at all costs! I ordered caramel pork with fried rice, and there were tons of tiny black bits in the pork. I pointed this out, and they told me they were pieces of well-cooked garlic—basically, bits of garlic charcoal! They told me I just had to pick them off the side of my plate, without any further apology! Appalling!

27/04/2026: Frankly, it was quite an unpleasant experience today. I'm pregnant, so I was simply sitting outside with my husband while my friend went inside to buy drinks—she spent about €20. When she returned, just a few seconds later, a waiter came over to tell us that the water bottles weren't for on-premises consumption and even removed the ashtray before my husband had finished. I understand that there might be rules, but the way they handled it was frankly clumsy and unnecessarily abrupt. A little more patience and courtesy would have been more than enough, especially given the circumstances. It's a shame, because this kind of behavior gives a very bad impression.

12/08/2026: We asked the manager five times to print a document, saying we didn't have time, but he preferred to play and bet on the horses. Furthermore, the health inspectors should pay this a visit.

08/04/2026: A place frequented by a bad crowd, although things have calmed down a bit since the terrace closed. Unfriendly vendors who simply take their money without any concern for their customers. A place that's useful in a pinch, but best avoided if possible!

07/09/2026: I'm giving it one star, and even then... The waiters didn't understand anything. We had to ask several times for the bare minimum; we weren't even given a carafe of water, which is basic stuff... Finally, the food arrived... nothing was fresh, except the meat, which they had to use—food poisoning would have been expensive! The wheat was definitely from the day before, the tomatoes in the salad too, and the fries were beyond words... absolutely tasteless, even though we were hungry. We didn't finish our meals... Then came the moment to pay. At no point were we asked if everything was alright. I paid €30 for two people... It wasn't worth it at all. In short, AVOID AT ALL COSTS...

05/09/2026: 5/5, especially for Karim's welcome; he's really great and makes you want to stop. You can tell he loves his job. The sandwiches were very good. We finally found another snack bar to eat good Turkish sandwiches 🥰 because our usual snack bar isn't very far away. Thank you, Karim, for this discovery 🥰

25/08/2026: Excellent pizzeria. Generous and tasty pizzas ready in minutes. Perfect for a takeaway meal!

14/08/2026: Perfect! The pizzas are amazing, I'd say the best in Pau. Plus, the service is fantastic; the gentleman who runs the restaurant is very kind and helpful.

26/08/2026: I went there to eat on Tuesday evening. The hamburger was cooked on a griddle that wasn't hot enough, so it was practically boiled when I took it out. The tables weren't cleaned. The draft beer was undrinkable; I threw it away. There were children playing with the water and the ice machine, and no one from the staff did anything about it. There were fries on the floor that hadn't been cleaned up. I won't even mention the type of clientele. They were incredibly noisy, which explains the behavior of their kids. No comment on the cashier. In short, I'll never go back. The only positive thing was the mussels and fries.

26/08/2026: First and last time for us at this Flunch. The service was deplorable, the food wasn't good, and what can I say about the attitude of the employees that evening (Monday, August 24, 2026, between 7:30 pm and 9 pm)? It was a complete disaster. Those serving the food clearly felt like they were bothering us, trying to serve us dishes that had been sitting there for who knows how long, even though they were supposed to be served hot. Then there was the young brunette (who was supposed to be cleaning and clearing tables) who used vulgar, crude, and insulting street language as she walked past the tables of customers, some of whom were even children. You need to think about recruiting better staff, even if it's a Flunch service; customers aren't "dogs"... Special mention, however, to the lady who served us upon arrival. She was very kind, smiling, friendly, professional, helpful, and always on hand. A big thank you to her! (I'm sorry, ma'am, if you're reading this, but I don't remember your first name and I don't mean to offend you by writing another coincidence.)

14/07/2026: Great place! Pleasant and quick service. Excellent food. I thoroughly enjoyed the steak with pepper sauce and delicious fries, and the enormous strawberry ice cream sundae. I highly recommend it. The waiter was very kind and friendly.

03/07/2026: THE WORST FOOD SAFETY EXPERIENCE I’VE EVER WITNESSED a few years ago, on 2021, my family and i visited this Pizza Hut late at night. we were seated by a window with a clear view of the kitchen. while we were waiting for our food, i saw one employee open a can of olives. as soon as she smelled them, she made a disgusted face and even gagged, while another employee was washing dishes nearby. the first employee handed the olives to her, and while she was still at the sink, she smelled them several times and also looked disgusted. she then rinsed the olives in the same sink she was using to clean dirty dishes, before they were sliced and placed on a pizza that was served to another table. i can’t say for certain that the olives were spoiled because i never inspected them myself, but the employees’ reactions strongly suggested that something was wrong with them. watching that happen completely undermined my confidence in the food safety at this location. to be fair, the pizza we ordered was good. we were definitely a bit nervous after what we had seen, and inspected it before eating, but the pepperoni pizza tasted fine and we didn’t have any issues with our meal. i also want to mention that the service was very good. the employee at the front counter was kind, welcoming, and treated us very well, so i have no complaints about the customer service. however, i do think this location should be inspected to ensure that proper food safety and hygiene standards are being followed. based on what I personally witnessed, i believe it’s worth making sure everything is being handled correctly to protect both customers and staff. honestly i'm glad we didn’t order olives, because after witnessing that situation, i wouldn’t have felt comfortable eating them. i’m not trying to accuse anyone of anything—i can only describe what I personally saw—but it was enough to leave a very negative impression and make me question the food safety standards at this location.

18/09/2026: The head chef gave us a very poor welcome. He offered us an XL hamburger when there was only a regular one left. I find this completely unacceptable. I definitely do not recommend Flunch; it's all salty. I do not recommend it.

08/09/2026: I only got vegetables because I didn't have much time, but the selection was varied 👍 I forgot to mention that I really enjoyed the plantains! A real treat, delicious 😜
