02/09/2024: Nous avons commandé de très bonnes pizzas bien garnies malgré l’attente un peu longue. Les serveurs sont très agréables.

21/08/2024: Habitons à temps complet à Canet en Roussillon. Une soirée improvisée nous décidons de commander des pizzas. Franchement très déçus la pâte excellente mais la 4 fromages nous cherchons après le fromage. Pizza poulet on cherche la base crème fraîche le poulet 1er prix. Le tout pour 42€ quelle honte franchement très mauvaises quelle déception 😞

23/08/2024: Que dire tellement il y a eu de déception!... Ce déjeuner devait être un moment de convivialité, et les désagréments se sont cumulés... Voici le déroulé de notre passage dans votre établissement. Pour l'apéro, nous avions choisi un pichet de vin rouge à partager. Il nous a été refusé sous prétexte que ce vin était réservé aux "pèlerins catholiques et pauvres" ??? Nous avons alors choisi un pichet de rosé, qui, sans être un grand vin, nous a convenu. Nous passons à l'entrée, salade tomate, salade de concombre. Rien à redire, les ingrédients étaient bons et bien assaisonnés. J'ai toutefois fait une remarque au gérant que les assiettes de faïence étaient fortement ébréchées, et qu'au vu des prix pratiqués, celà donnait une mauvaise image à l'établissement Grand mal m'en a pris, tout a dégénéré !.. Nous commandons alors un second pichet de rosé, ce n'était pas le même. Je demande à le faire changer, ainsi que nos verres Quelques minutes plus tard, ce dernier revient avec une bouteille qu'il débouche devant nous et lance à la cantonade "comme cela, vous verrez ce que je vous sers!" Nous n'avons jamais reçu de nouveaux verres, au bout de 10 mn d'attente, je me suis levé et je suis allé en cherché sur la table voisine Arrive les plats principaux... Deux entrecôtes... de taille allant du simple au double, nous n'en avons même pas fait la remarque Deux cuisses de canette qui étaient très bonnes, servies avec des frites extrêmement grasses, immangeables. Quelques légumes, totalement immangeables également, ces derniers sentaient mauvais , comme si ils avaient été préparés sur une plaque dont on n'avait pas rincé le produit de nettoyage avant de les cuisiner Nous en avons fait la remarque discrètement, et nous nous sommes alors fait agresser verbalement par le gérant qui nous a interpellé du milieu de la salle comme quoi qu'il avait demandé à tout le restaurant et que étions les seuls à nous être plaint ??? Nous n'avons pas répondu... Je me suis ensuite levé pour sortir fumer une cigarette, et nouvelle agression par le gérant qui est sorti en furie de la cuisine avec deux ou trois cagettes de légumes pour nous prouver la qualité de ses produits, alors que nous ne mettions en cause que la cuisson, et non pas la qualité des légumes Je lui ai alors demandé fermement de nous fiche la paix, d'arrêter de nous agresser et de ne plus nous adresser la parole Arrive alors les desserts, deux par deux, avec près de 5 mn d'intervalle, alors qu'il était évident qu'aucune préparation minute n'était à faire fromage blanc avec compotée de mirabelle et mousse au chocolat. Nous les avons appréciés, même si j'ai du à nouveau me lever pour aller chercher des cuillères sur la table voisine 😉 Pour mettre une touche d'humour, j'ai demandé au serveur si le gérant allait nous offrir les cafés. Bien évidemment, nous n'en n'avons pas eu 😂 Addition et paiement au bar Beaucoup trop cher pour ce que nous avons mangé (207,60€ à quatre, sans apéro, 2 carafes de rosé, et pas de café) Je n'y remettrai plus jamais les pieds et déconseille fortement à la clientèle de ne jamais faire de critique, sous peine d'agression Pour info, j'avais lu votre réponse à Jean Claude, où vous préconiser d'émettre des critiques au cas où les plats ne conviennent pas.... Relisez vous et apprenez l'humilité afin de vous améliorer. Le chemin risque d'être long. Ou alors, si cela vous semble insurmontable, "Changez de métier", monsieur !!! J'attends avec impatience votre réponse, pour info, je ne suis pas dans la concurrence

10/09/2024: Hello, I spent a romantic weekend with my darling, a perfect welcome, attentive and very friendly staff. Nice little room and very clean with a view over the whole valley. We took the cocooning formula which included SPA, HAMMAM, SAUNA and MASSAGES. On the other hand, where I didn't like it at all and because of that I won't go back there again, it's the SPA part, it was a SPA like you find in many private homes, neither more nor less (and in the more the power of the whirlpools is really very bad), the problem is that you have to queue to be able to access it and when you are inside, people sit next to you to make you understand that they would like to be able to enjoy it too (so small SPA and not private, it's not at all what we expect when we have a romantic weekend). In short, it could be noted on the brochure. Besides that, my darling and I had a massage and it was more than perfect, friendly masseuses who took great care of us. Now the restaurant part, very nice place with a beautiful view and a beautiful terrace, large space inside. As for the cooking, it was perfect and homemade, even the desserts. And there's another downside (I know I'm never happy). We enter the restaurant and the first thing we see is a stepladder against the wall and right next to it a table against the wall with a mountain of loose laundry and boxes of glass, I know it's a detail but it's a shame because in addition there was a curtain next to it which could have hidden all that. For breakfast, it's a bit everywhere like in any hotel but the owner does the service barefoot, it doesn't look very classy when you run this style of establishment. In short, lots of little things to complain about, like an electrical outlet torn out and dangling in a hallway or a candelabra also dangling in the garden against a wall. It remains a luxury castle and everything must be perfect.

16/08/2024: L'endroit était agréable, à l'ombre, avec un vent rafraîchissant, et une belle vue sur la plage. L'accueil et le service étaient biens. Cuisine ok (salade de pêcheur avec deux belles gambas). Tiramisu au top. Réserver de préférence. Bonne expérience.

14/08/2024: Très joli cadre. Personnel charmant. Cependant les prix sont exagérés et le gérant fort ombrageux. Minimum 20€ pour CB.

09/08/2024: Probably one of the best coffees in Valloire. WiFi, clean toilets, wide selection of tasty drinks. In summer the terrace is shaded, it’s pleasant. Now I notice in 2024 that time is passing and so are the prices, this is a global observation in Valloire (not specific to the Mountain Café), but therefore we have to make trade-offs :/ . As for the service at the bar, I imagine that initially it was for reasons of budget balance, however now with prices skyrocketing everywhere, I prefer to choose a place where the service is included (simple tourist observation ). I still enjoy going there, but less often than before.

06/12/2025: The seller was incredibly unpleasant. The dog is better trained and more polite than the owner. Yet, the training has the advantage of being free.

14/01/2026: Disappointed by the attitude of the manager and her colleague. I found the welcome very unfriendly and marked by regrettable prejudices on the part of both of them. I will not be returning.

19/12/2023: I discovered this place when it was taken over a year or two ago. The manager was friendly, even very friendly. It made me want it. For several months, when I go there, I always have the impression of being a nuisance. Today, just a sign to ask for what I want, I hadn't even yet explained everything I wanted for a finger to show me the CB payment terminal. Too bad, I had to buy other things but the manager immediately went back to talking with customers without taking care of me, so I left. This will probably be my last visit to this place.

05/11/2023: Very very welcome, I just had a coffee but very very good I will go back because it opens very happily in the morning which is good for people who start early
