We received some lovely little touches to celebrate my partner's 40th birthday. The staff was excellent. The food was truly delicious and high quality. I highly recommend it!

02/09/2026: We had the pleasure of dining with our family on a Saturday evening at the end of August after some heavy thunderstorms. While we weren't able to enjoy the terrace, everything was done to ensure a successful evening. The warm welcome from the staff, the ambiance of "Le Passeur," and the truly delicious crêpes, thanks to the quality of the ingredients and their impeccable preparation, were all outstanding. 27/10/2026: Stopped here for lunch on route to the Loire valley. I had the Tajine lemon chicken that was delicious, my husband had the steak & fries which was phenomenal too. It’s nestled in a medieval village that’s fun to explore afterwards. The server squeezed us in which we were grateful for, lunch was bustling. Yet food came out fast 💨 I did not see the rooms but I am sure it would be lovely 🥰

22/10/2026: We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food at a very reasonable price. Burger, ham hock, lasagna, and flank steak—everything was perfectly prepared. If we ever return to Sainte-Suzanne, we will definitely come back to enjoy a delicious meal at your establishment. The staff was friendly and welcoming; nothing but positive things to say. I highly recommend it.

20/08/2026: When truckers are the last to be served… Hello, You two truck stops in Angers, and seriously, you can't even coordinate to avoid taking your vacations at the same time? It would have taken a little common sense: one year, one takes their vacation in July and the other in August, then you switch the following year. It's not that complicated! We truck drivers are on the road all year round. We supply food distribution centers, stores, businesses, and a good part of the economy that keeps running while many are on vacation. And when it's time for us to stop for a meal, we support your establishments by spending our money with you. But now, with two truck stops closed at the same time, what kind of message does that send to the drivers? "Figure it out yourselves!" “ The result: we end up forced to eat on the side of the road, in our trucks, or desperately searching for a place to park. And then we wonder why truck drivers are increasingly angry about the disappearance of truck stops… Unfortunately, I'm getting the growing impression that some establishments no longer see drivers as professionals who deserve respect and hospitality, but simply as wallets on wheels. When you're open, we're happy to come and eat and leave the bill. But when you should simply show a minimum of consideration for those who employ you, everyone's thinking about their vacation, and too bad for the drivers. So yes, I find that frankly pathetic. Taking time off, of course, is normal and you have every right to it. But wait!” Having two truck stops in the same area close at the exact same time is a huge lack of coordination and consideration for a profession that can't simply decide to park its truck for three weeks. A little common sense and respect for the drivers wouldn't hurt. As usual, when it comes to truck drivers: you're on your own... 😡😡😡 And then don't even think about asking why real truck stops are becoming increasingly rare. A word to the wise!! 🤔

04/10/2026: After visiting the famous goat village, I think, "Hey, aren't you hungry?" Indeed... Look, look, look: here we go! I arrive in a tiny village, park the Audi, head to the restaurant, and a very kind French lady welcomes me. I sit outside, ask her to recommend something traditional, and she suggests: Foie Gras. And you know, my last name is "curiosity." Followed by a traditional fondue, and off we go. The Coca-Cola has a strange shape, I can't finish the fondue, and nearby I notice a tiny, traditional cemetery. France is full of incredible views! Oh, and I saw so many people walking around with baguettes 🤣
