12/04/2026: The food was perfect, very good... The service didn't live up to the quality of the food or the ambiance. The place is too quiet, no music, no atmosphere, it's practically dead and depressing. We'd barely sat down and ordered our drinks when they presented us with the menu and insisted we immediately decide which dessert we wanted so they could manage the cooking time (lol). I never know if I want dessert after a meal... The waitress was a bit rude and didn't represent the atmosphere of the place at all. Aside from the fact that the dish was good and the fireplace was lit, all I wanted to do was leave and never go back because I felt so uncomfortable. On the plus side, during the aperitif, they brought us some mini appetizers to share. I wanted to give it only one star because service is important to me, but I gave it two for the food.

06/05/2026: A wonderful experience at L’Arôme restaurant in Gundershoffen ✨ Refined cuisine, quality ingredients, and genuine expertise that shines through in every dish. You can tell this is a place that must be excellent year-round 👌 Special mention for the white asparagus, which was particularly delicious 🤍 A place I wholeheartedly recommend and where I will gladly return!

29/04/2026: We were still quite a bit away when their little dog ran out to give us a warm welcome. The place is super cozy and cute, with such a great vibe, and the owner is incredibly friendly, they really made us feel at home. It was honestly a standout experience. ​Everything we ordered was spot on. The rice was perfectly fluffy with just the right bite; even as an Asian, I have to say it was impeccable. The sauces were rich and packed with flavor, you can really taste the depth in every bite. And the brownie? Easily the best I’ve ever had. ​I can’t recommend this place enough!

Passing through Biarritz, we decided to try the Bayou cuisine... and what a success! :) The dishes were all delicious, the staff very friendly, and the Cajun sauce was simply incredible. Well done to the whole team! I hope to come back someday to try the shrimp Po'boy.

21/04/2026: My wife and I came for the half-marathon. We appreciated the hotel for its location, its quiet atmosphere, and the size of the room. The breakfast was also very good. The staff was very attentive as well.

18/04/2026: Thank you for your hospitality during the Chinon Marathon. We appreciated being able to enjoy breakfast at 6 a.m. on the weekend (exceptionally served primarily for the runners). The option of a late departure was also very convenient after the race.

10/04/2026: I had lunch there twice on the terrace, two very pleasant lunch breaks. I really enjoyed their vegetarian lasagna, and the accompanying salad was fantastic. Finally, a salad that actually tastes like salad, with a lovely little vinaigrette dressing! Their fruit crumble with a scoop of ice cream is a real treat. And to top it all off, the waitress was absolutely wonderful, always smiling and very friendly. I highly recommend this place! ⭐😋
