15/07/2026: Meal ordered at 8 PM Delivered at 8:37 PM The sushi was delicious, the tuna maki was magnificent, and the portions were generous. I received two free Cokes and coleslaw with a €60 purchase, which was a very nice touch. The delivery driver was friendly and very professional. I highly recommend them and thank you for your professionalism.

31/07/2026: It's rather difficult for me to rate this place. Indeed, La Tupina is undeniably a tourist restaurant, with prices that are excessive considering its location on a rather unremarkable street, and cuisine that, while good, doesn't quite reach a certain level in my opinion. However, this Bordeaux institution does have many qualities. The atmosphere is warm and authentic, the fireplace cooking adds undeniable charm, the complimentary appetizers and petits fours are very welcome, and above all, the menu features Bordeaux specialties that have become extremely difficult to find these days. For that reason alone, the restaurant deserves praise. Personally, I started with an egg with piperade. It was good, but too oily for my taste. I then tried a true institution: lamprey à la bordelaise. It was excellent. The rich, deep sauce brought out all the complexity of the red wine, the vegetables were perfectly tender, and the lamprey, delicately prepared, offered a remarkable marriage of its briny notes and the intensity of the sauce. A truly top-notch dish… although, at nearly €50, one has the right to expect the same. On the other hand, the portions are particularly generous: you are served an entire casserole dish. My advice is therefore simple: if you are alone, order only this dish; it constitutes a complete meal in itself. If there are two of you, it can be very wise to share it, accompanied by a starter or dessert. My only real complaint concerns the side dish. A simple slice of toasted bread is served with the dish, whereas a little rice, or at least the option to order some, would allow one to fully appreciate this exceptional sauce without wasting a drop.

14/07/2026: I've been coming here for a long time and I felt I had to leave a review. This place is a must-visit when in Lyon. The execution in the kitchen is exceptional, from the appetizer to the dessert. It's a real treat, without a single criticism. Thank you!

09/09/2026: Visited a few times during our week, staying nearby. Great for coffee and croissants in the morning as an accompaniment to watching the world come and go. Gets busy at times, most times (which tells you something) especially lunchtime. The sandwiches / pizza-style are very good and you'll find yourself compelled to try a few of the pastries (even if to take away).

30/08/2026: A very good bakery located on the small village square, with a lovely shaded terrace perfect for enjoying a meal or a coffee. We sampled the pastries, viennoiseries, and sandwiches, and everything was truly delicious. The sandwiches are made to order, which is a real plus and gives a sense of freshness. The products are high quality, and the portions are just right. A simple, pleasant, and unpretentious place where you can eat well. We really enjoyed it and will gladly return if we're ever in the area again.

13/08/2026: This is a must-visit restaurant in Paris. The food is delicious; I went once in May and again in July, but reservations are a must.

10/08/2026: I highly recommend this restaurant. I invited a friend who was visiting the capital. The meal was fantastic, with generous and carefully prepared cuisine. The wine list is also remarkable, offering a varied selection of wines by the glass if, like us, you choose one of you to have fish and the other the vol-au-vent.

05/09/2026: So, I don't usually leave reviews, but I have to this time. We came for a birthday celebration and had reserved a large table at 9:45 PM. We started with a cocktail, a spritz for €13, but the quantities weren't equal at all, and there was a huge disparity between the glasses. We pointed this out to the waitress, who told us it was normal, and was also quite rude… Moving on to the meal, the concept of small tapas to share was very appealing, which suited us perfectly… until the main courses arrived, and we were very surprised… a measly lamb skewer (admittedly very good) for €16. Someone will have to explain to me how we're supposed to share that (see photo). All the dishes were like that; we definitely left hungry. It was a bit disappointing because we really thought we'd eat more, and the portions were far too small for the price. You'd need one plate of each per person to be reasonably full, but that completely defeats the purpose of sharing. The servers all seemed extremely annoyed. Then came the bill, and disaster struck: We had asked to split the bill, but to our great surprise, the first people paid three times as much as the others… it's incomprehensible that there are such large price differences (I think the first people were charged along with the cost of their drinks, even though those had already been paid for). The management offered to "compensate" us by offering us free cocktails next time, but let me tell you, we'll never be back. It's a shame, it's a nice place, but very noisy for eating and talking.

02/09/2026: We came yesterday (the three of us) and had a wonderful time. Double Vie offers refined cuisine with a real focus on taste, flavor, and texture. A superb experience; the food was far more flavorful than almost any other restaurant I've been to lately (especially for the price)! The dishes are beautiful and delicious. The pace of service is excellent. Furthermore, the staff is very friendly!

22/08/2026: The quality-price ratio is far from the standard for defining what a pizza is! The dough is rubbery and therefore hard to digest. Are we talking about burrata on pizza? I'm just saying, don't use the name burrata in vain! Can you explain to me what you put on that hypothetical pizza? A lumpy, tasteless, and insipid little ball that has nothing to do with burrata!!! Don't damage what Italian products and specialty names are! If you're not capable of making or supplying Italian products, then keep selling your products, but don't call those things pizza, burrata, parmesan, etc., etc. Never again! Are we talking about the price??? 15 euros is the average price for a hypothetical pizza, starting from mediocre and below? I'd prefer the one at Carrefour 100 times, at least I know it's not worthy of the name pizza, but at least I paid 5 times less for what you sell! So, keep selling those products, but don't use names that are similar to ITALIAN products and specialty products!!! Don't take Italy's name in vain!
