08/08/2026: A great find! The dishes are very generous, delicious, and beautifully presented. One small detail to note: there's no cell service on-site, but actually, it's quite pleasant! You can really enjoy your meal in peace and quiet, without being disturbed by your phone. A great place to eat.

19/07/2026: Cozy spot! Nice and pleasant place to sit and have a drink and a meal. They have a small menu (no fixed menu!), which is very nice! That way, you know the food is prepared with care. There are games available and a little shop with local products! The lady serving was incredibly sweet and friendly.

27/08/2026: First visit to this restaurant while visiting the island. The welcome was very good, and our orders were taken quickly. We ordered a children's menu and three sirloin steaks. The food arrived quickly, but we were disappointed when it came time to eat it. We asked for our meat to be cooked rare. We received medium-rare. The same thing happened with the children's hamburger, which was overcooked. After we pointed out the problem to the waitress, she kindly offered to retrieve the dishes for us, as she was already aware of the issue (I think the cooks have trouble controlling the cooking). However, when the dishes were returned, the fries weren't fully cooked, but we didn't say anything. I would add that it's a good idea to choose homemade sauces to go with the fries. However, I'm disappointed that no compensation was offered because, upon our arrival, the waitress unfortunately dropped her tray of glasses on our table. My son's phone was soaked, and there was water on him too. Sure, they apologized, but they could have easily offered us a free drink or coffee, given these issues… But nothing.

On Saturday, August 29, 2026, there were 13 of us who wanted to have lunch at your restaurant, but you refused our reservation because you didn't accept groups! We told you we could have tables of four, and you refused that too! We were four small families, and your restaurant wasn't full! We didn't quite understand; perhaps you were too busy this summer—good for you. So we went to L'Écureuil instead, where we received a very warm welcome! Personally, we won't be eating at your restaurant again!

01/09/2026: I really love Asian food, which is why I went to this restaurant a few days ago. The food was delicious, and the young waiter with glasses was very friendly and pleasant—thank you to him! The young waitress with the pierced eyebrow explained each dish thoroughly and took the time to answer our questions: How does he prepare the tea? What's in the fruit salad?... But I think the time allotted wasn't to everyone's liking, because a third waiter came to tell the waitress to "go back and serve." We still didn't know what fruit was in the fruit salad, apart from the melon. I had to call the same waiter over to ask him the rest of my questions about the desserts.

31/08/2026: We had a decent meal in a lovely courtyard with pleasant, soft lighting and a magnificent, probably centuries-old, linden tree. The service was pleasant. I ordered a plate of oriental pastries served with a small glass of mint tea. When the kind lady served my tea, I asked if she could serve a second small tea to my friend who hadn't ordered dessert. The kind lady said yes, she had anticipated this and already had a second small glass for a second small mint tea. We were very happy! And then... disaster struck... for a bill of just under €80 for two, including a shared starter, a shared royal couscous, and my famous plate of oriental dessert (without any alcohol), imagine our surprise when we were charged €2 extra for our small mint tea by the kind lady... what a lack of customer service, madam! We won't be back.

27/08/2026: The restaurant is located on the main street of Brides-les-Bains, and the staff was helpful and friendly throughout the evening. My wife and I decided to dine outside to take advantage of the pleasant evening weather and the mountain views. While we were choosing our food, they immediately brought us a small sample of the house specialty, which was greatly appreciated. We had the local fondue Savoyarde, served as per tradition with a salad topped with the typical sauce, an assortment of cured meats, and diced bread to dip in the fondue. Everything was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed it. As for drinks, we ordered two craft beers from Savoyard breweries and ended the evening with the house desserts, which were also excellent. The price was appropriate for the location and the experience we had during the evening.

You can tell the owners want to please their customers, and they succeeded because we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We highly recommend this place and will definitely be back. 19/07/2026: A really nice discovery on Place du Marché Saint-Germain. If you’re looking for a great spot for lunch in the area, this is definitely worth a visit. They offer an excellent lunch menu, very reasonably priced at around €25–29 for two courses. The food is simple, authentic French cuisine with no unnecessary frills—just a strong focus on the quality of the ingredients. Unfortunately, I didn’t get the chance to take any photos because my phone was charging, but I can definitely recommend this restaurant. As a bonus, the setting is lovely, with a beautiful view towards the end of Saint-Sulpice Church, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Greatly recommend!
