28/08/2026: If you're lucky enough to know and appreciate this cuisine, you can't help but rub your eyes when you see "Iranian and Lebanese specialties" on the storefront. What a shame about this over-promotion! It's so good under normal circumstances!

27/08/2026: My visit to this restaurant on Rue Saint-Jacques in Paris gave me the opportunity to discover Iranian cuisine and appreciate its variety, history, and oriental flavors. The dishes, accompanied by Shiraz wine, were excellent. The welcome was warm. In short, we had a wonderful evening in the exotic setting of Iran and the rich history of Persia!

21/06/2026: Fantastic evening with friends at Oudaya! Very friendly staff and the couscous was absolutely delicious! We finished with a little mint tea on the terrace: perfect!

A warm and friendly welcome, a taste of childhood reminiscent of the daily special, a shepherd's pie... reasonable prices and excellent, genuine service. A simplicity that rhymes with authenticity... 27/08/2026: The food was really good. The restaurant's location, on a quiet street with a large terrace, is also very pleasant. However, the service disappointed us. It seemed like the waiter was managing the entire dining room alone, which may have contributed to the delays. We often had to repeat our requests, and his attitude gave us the impression that he was annoyed. I had a very positive experience at Mokko, the partner restaurant, and therefore had high expectations. I was all the more disappointed this time. The presentation of the chocolate cake also deserved to be more refined. I hope the restaurant will consider providing the necessary support during busy periods, because the quality of the food deserves service to match.

12/06/2026: We spent a weekend there as a couple. What a shame! There was no kettle or coffee maker in the room... No slippers for the spa or tea corner. We didn't like being seated next to other people in the restaurant, even though there are several dining rooms... it lacked a cozy atmosphere. The meal wasn't exceptional, even though there were four courses for the price we paid. Outside, there was no space by the pool; all the lounge chairs were occupied by towels, but no one was sitting there! To top it all off, we were charged for drinks we didn't order... What a shame for such a beautiful establishment! We don't recommend this hotel...

10/06/2026: What a place to turn 40. 🎂 We spent three nights at Hostellerie des Châteaux on half-board for my birthday and left genuinely happy. The location on the Alsace Wine Route, at the foot of the Vosges, is beautiful, and the property's 2,500m² spa with its pools and saunas gives you plenty of reasons not to leave. The restaurant is the star. ⭐ Each dinner opened with an amuse-bouche, the courses built with real intention, and on our final evening the kitchen surprised us with an unprompted foie gras pâté and a full cheese course. The sommelier deserves his own mention: deep knowledge of Alsace wines, recommendations tailored to our table across all three evenings, and the single biggest reason the dinners will stay with us. 🍷 Breakfast matched the standard: a fresh juicing station, egg station, proper pastries and well-chosen local cheeses. The half-board is worth it. We also slept very well. Some honest improvement notes for this lovely family-run property to take it to 5 stars: - the rooms haven't kept pace with the public areas and the website imagery (and the artificial grass roof, not really nice to look at from the window.. why? 😄) - the pool was way too crowded and the website image shows much less recliner seats when the area was rather cramped at times especially on the weekend. - tea/coffee facilities and individual toiletries in the rooms would lift the experience (they only have a body wash in the shower - an opportunity to improve) - menus in English/German and dietary alternatives (vegetarians etc) would serve the international guests better - the pool bar closing at 18:00 on a warm summer evening, feels way too early but I saw the staff had to rush to the lobby bar (perhaps hire more?) - strength training options would complete the gym which currently has cardio only. - tvs didn’t have any working English channels and the ability to cast to the TV wasn’t properly advertised, perhaps add a proper TV smart guide? None of this took away from a wonderful stay and a birthday to remember. Thank you to the whole team, and especially the restaurant and bar team. 12/09/2026: A lovely little discovery in a quiet courtyard. The cardamom brioches are excellent, and the cinnamon rolls are very tasty. Be aware that many of their products contain cardamom to respect Swedish tradition; those who like it should definitely try them—they're excellent. They also have a very good little chocolate and rye flour cookie.

09/09/2026: A wonderful and special place with a pleasant courtyard. Swedish pastries, special, everything looked excellent. The service at the counter was kind and patient, despite the long line to order. The coffee was excellent and the cake I ate was simply wonderful! And all at a great price!!

08/09/2026: We had a great time at Le Cardinal thanks to the warm welcome from the owner and the kindness and efficiency of the staff. Excellent value for money.

04/08/2026: There's no option to eat in, only takeout, but I highly recommend it. The pizzas are truly incredible. I won't even mention my discovery of the chef's special pasta, which is simply delicious, especially since I wasn't a fan of pasta before. The staff is always respectful! There's a really wide selection of pasta, pizza, and gratins. I don't have any partnerships with this pizzeria, but when something is good, I share it. The pasta tray with minced meat, etc., is €9, which is a really reasonable price. All that's left for you to do is try it and leave your review if you're like me!

25/05/2026: A perfect stay from start to finish! As a tour bus driver, I stayed at this hotel with a group of seniors, and everything was absolutely perfect. From the reception to the rooms, including the restaurant, the welcome, and the overall organization, there was nothing to complain about. A big thank you to the manager, Dominique, who is excellent, as well as to Hicham, the group manager, who was simply exceptional in his management and follow-up. Special mention also goes to our guide, Pietro, who greatly contributed to the success of this trip. The rooms are spotless, and the food delighted all my travelers. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return! Christophe

05/08/2026: Unprofessional No one speaks a little French or English so I could properly explain my request. I wanted to ask for a dish that is Gluten free and Celiac safe, the staff was rude and couldn't neither understand what im asking for, nor be nice enough to say there's nothing they could propose me that is Celiac safe. I understand the language barrier in France, as I, myself, am not French - but the minimum is to either speak the local language, or english as an international language, or simply be nice and gentle with your clients.
