16/08/2024: Par une journée pluvieuse, où nombres d'établissement de la ville étaient fermés pour congés, nous avons pu trouver refuge culinaire dans ce bistrot du monde! Accueilli chaleureusement par la patronne, nous nous sommes laissés guider vers la fierté de la maison : les moules de la baie cuisinées à l'indienne ! Rien que cela vous donne une idée du voyage qui vous est proposé ! En résumé, savoureux, familial, artisanal, abordable et multiculturel. Bravo pour cette alchimie !
15/08/2024: Sommes arrivés à l'improviste, sans avoir réservé... Par chance encore 2 places....
Un accueil très sympathique, et un service aux petits soins...
En entrée un petit nem et un petit Samoussa avec une petite sauce à la menthe... Miaaam...
En plat du jour un poulet Tikka Massala (je ne suis plus certaine de l'orthographe) avec riz au curry.. On nous avait prévenu que c'était légèrement piquant... Et franchement trop bon... Piquant juste ce qu'il faut.
Et pour refroidir le feu du gosier (et en plus avec la chaleur ça a fait du bien) une petite glace à l'italienne.
Nous y retournerons lors de nos prochaines vacances...

23/09/2024: One of the best nights we had in Vichy. Staff are amazing and the whole vibe was the best. A LOT of fun - especially later on when the dancing starts 🤣🤣🤣

Restaurant correct mais pas bistronomique.
Ca permet d'avoir un repas consistant après l'effort.
Frites grasses et lourdes à digérer, clafoutis raplapla et sec, moelleux trop cuit donc sec.
Service un peu désorganisé.
18/08/2024: We enjoyed a small pancake with raspberry jam before taking the little train to go to the Troumousse circus. Very pleasant starting point for discovering the magnificent environment and eating. Large parking lot to accommodate people with enough room to picnic or rest (van or other...)

20/09/2024: We had lunch in a magnificent setting both indoors and outdoors. The signature menu is simply breathtaking and is accompanied by wines recommended by an excellent sommelier. All the staff are welcoming and professional. In short, an exceptional restaurant in a peaceful green setting.
19/09/2024: The Domaine de Clairefontaine begins with a place.
A remote paradise setting in the village of Chonas l'Amballan.
On this day (09/19/24), we were able to participate in a wine tasting on the Terrace with a Grand Soleil.
Let's taste local... and what could be better than to enhance that with the second point: the food!
Tasty dishes, generous plates, a fantastic chartreuse dessert... I'm won over.
But the whole thing is enhanced by an incredible team!
Thank you to the Staff and in particular to Axel, for these valuable oenological advice and to Fanny for her responsiveness and her service!
I will come back be sure :)

22/05/2025: 1 star and that's already too much, more than 1 hour 20 minutes of waiting for three pizzas and receiving overcooked pizzas with no toppings.

A table of 13 people reserves 3 weeks in advance. A more than unpleasant waitress, no smile and an incredibly rude way of addressing the customer!!! “Push your cutlery.”
A waiter who comes to take the dessert order 5 minutes after serving us the dish.
Not to mention the “we’re offering you the digestive” once we arrive at the bar, the bill paid, a waitress who hands us the TPE to each of us to ask us to pay for this famous digestive.
To top it off, another waitress, equally pleasant and contemptuous, who clears these empty glasses on the counter while pushing our drinks.
A shame!
For a first in this establishment, the last one was unanimous, we have never been so poorly received.

29/11/2024: My friend paid in cash for a bill of around €150, the waiter took advantage of the fact that he did not speak French well to keep €15 as a “tip” even though my friend had never intended to leave such an amount. Be careful!

28/08/2024: Last night, three of us were at L’Annex to have our third bottle of the evening, a Prosecco. So engrossed in our conversation, we accidentally broke two glasses in a row. The servers were incredibly professional and friendly, quickly replacing glasses without a single hassle. We offered to reimburse the damage, but they assured us it wasn't necessary. In summary, the Prosecco is excellent, and the service even more so. We will definitely come back. THANKS !

14/06/2024: Friendly restaurant where you are comfortable and you eat well. The dishes are incredible. We ate very well there. Varied menu card. There's something for everyone. A dedicated and warm staff who bends over backwards for customers.
Small pleasant terrace for sunny days. Friendly and relaxing place.
I recommend this place without hesitation.

02/11/2024: Restaurant qui se veut chic et bien non . À 29€ le plat ( gigot d’agneau) certes bon mais sans plus . Une lotte sans plus aussi . Nous avons du demander du pain tellement ce fut peu copieux . Saveurs à ce prix là non au rendez vous . Je rentre le ventre vide en ayant mangé tout le pain certes très bon lol !!!!

L endroit est situé à côté du marché avec une jolie terrasse
Les serveuses sont adorables et toujours de très bons conseils, merci à elles

01/09/2024: Disappointed. The map looked promising. The friendly waiter. Quality wine.
On the other hand, when it comes to cooking... Tasteless dishes. Use of canned products (mushrooms). Not looking for taste. Maybe the pizzas can stand out from the crowd.
Sorry for the restaurant owner but it's better to move on and find another restaurant.
