28/02/2026: A warm welcome, quick service, and a very well-prepared dish at an affordable price – you can tell the ingredients are high quality. My only slight disappointment was the dessert, the pineapple shortcrust tart. I found the shortbread very dry; it was more like a pastry crust than a shortbread, and the pineapple was very hard. This is constructive criticism; my aim isn't to be negative. We'll gladly return.

21/04/2026: A restaurant we always return to with pleasure! The owner and his team are very welcoming and friendly, creating a warm atmosphere from the moment you arrive. The cuisine is entirely homemade, with a variety of dishes that are always delicious. You can taste the care taken with the ingredients and the preparation. An address we wholeheartedly recommend and where we regularly return with great pleasure 😊

10/04/2026: First off, the crispy chicken bagel was tasty. It wasn't amazing, but it was something different. However... the server—a young Black woman—worked sooooooo slowly that just watching her made you want to help out so you could finally get your bagel. Then she forgot the turkey ham on one bagel and almost burned two others because she forgot to turn on the timer. If I owned a company, she wouldn't have made it past the trial shift. Awful. Furthermore, the "restaurant" was anything but inviting. It seemed very dirty. The tables outside hadn't been cleared, and I won't even mention the lack of washing up. If we hadn't been able to sit outside, I would have actually taken my bagel to go, as it was very cramped, stuffy, and completely uncomfortable inside. My conclusion: Yeah, the bagel was okay, the rest was rubbish.

19/04/2026: A great place to stop if you're passing through Capendu. The welcome was professional, and we were seated on a lovely shaded terrace. The €27 set menu for a starter, main course, and dessert is reasonable, especially considering it was a Sunday. The quality is excellent, and the service is prompt and efficient. We had a great time. Worth discovering.

23/04/2026: This is a must-visit in Bastia for anyone with a sweet tooth! This artisanal ice cream shop offers a generous menu with a wide selection of flavors, although some items are unavailable due to the seasonality of certain products (melon, for example). What we loved: • The generous portions: The sundaes are beautifully presented and truly substantial. You definitely get your money's worth! • The setting: The small terrace is very pleasant for soaking up the city's atmosphere. • The unusual detail: Don't leave without a visit to the restrooms! It's rare to mention this, but they are magnificent and surprisingly original. Our only slight disappointment during our visit: our hazelnut scoops were replaced with vanilla without us being informed. A bit of a shame about the lack of communication, even if the quality remains excellent. A great place for a refreshing and high-quality break, despite this minor service hiccup. Definitely worth a try!

04/05/2026: Don't go on Sundays, as they charge €52 for a blanquette de veau that's nowhere near my grandmother's; the nougat glacé is just average. Very, very expensive, and the food is mediocre. I don't recommend it. It seems like a tourist trap to me.

Let yourself be guided, without hesitation, by his creative or comforting combinations. This review adds up to dozens of delicious and heartwarming moments.

15/12/2025: Full little restaurant bar situated at the train station where you can watch the trains wooshhhh by as you are eating a delicious locally sourced meal or an expertly prepared cocktail. A fun experience to take in while visiting Guethary!

15/03/2026: A fantastic place for a great evening with friends. The staff are attentive and accommodating, the sharing platters are excellent, made with quality ingredients, and the wine list seems endless with expert and tailored recommendations. We'll definitely be back, and many times over!
