18/12/2024: I have eaten there several times, never disappointed with the welcome or the cuisine! The atmosphere is friendly, the value for money is reasonable and there is a choice of lots of small desserts which allows you to have a gourmet coffee without extra cost! I recommend!!

15/12/2024: We visited this place for the first and last time today. The good reviews of the restaurant drew us in, but we were severely disappointed. If you thought you couldn’t go wrong with fries, this place will prove you wrong: the fries here are apparently fried so many times that they’re completely burnt, consisting only of crust and air. At first glance, we even thought they were sweet potato fries. The vegetarian burger was okay, but definitely overpriced for what it was, and the burger bun was barely toasted. The service was extremely unfriendly, and we didn’t feel comfortable at all. Very disappointing!

15/09/2024: This restaurant is located in the heart of st Marie de re, The staff was do friendly. I had the best meal of my stay in ile de re which was a pave de Merlu. The fish was so fresh cooked to perfection and it tasted amazing. My mom and sisters both had a dish with octopus and shrimps that was delicious as well. Nothing bad to say about this place. If you want to enjoy a great meal just go there you won't be disappointed.

04/09/2024: Un repas d’anniversaire mitigé. On arrive un peu en avance, on nous remet gentiment à la porte nous disant que les cuisine commence dans 10 min; enceinte de 8 mois passé, j’ai trouvé ça très très limite de me faire attendre à la porte dehors. Je connais ce restaurant depuis des années puisque j’étais une des premières clientes de l’ancien patron.. Avec mon mari nous avons été déçus en y allant pour mon anniversaire. On demande une planche de tapas qu’on nous vends avec du fromage, des crudités et de la charcuterie.. étant végétarienne et intolérante au lactose , j’attendais le fromage de brebis/chevre et les crudités avec impatience. Au final pas un crudité, une rondelle de chèvre et un minuscule bout de fromage qu’on ne nous présente pas; Les crudités sans nous demander ont étés remplacés par des billes de mozzarella alors que j’y suis intolérante.. bref. Le plat, border végétal bon, mais rien de transcendant. Des falafels très durs et bourratives. Les frites tellement salées qu’on en a peu manges. On nous a vendu le dessert comme un mets de compétition, finalement un moelleux au chocolat bon mais comme celui de la maison. On nous compte un menu enfant mais aucun dessert n’a été présenté. Même si les produits sont bons et frais, Je trouve les prix quand même élevés et la qualité a légèrement diminuée. Le service rien à dire, personne souriante.

25/11/2024: A sunny spring day, at low tide, sitting on the terrace of the "Grand Herbet", contemplating the magnificent panorama, offered by the shimmering golden shine of the herbets (kelp), on the ocher and brownish rocks, and the noria oyster farmers' tractors. Except for the appeal of the terrace, not much to say...except that. Ordinary cuisine, Fish And Chips and ordinary lemon tart. Average service. Local and noisy atmosphere. This is all average.
