05/11/2024: We had lunch with friends at this hostel in September. Very good and very generous meals. Outside on the terrace with great sunshine and throughout the meal the smile and kindness of an adorable waitress who was perhaps the boss but I don't know. .We were on vacation and we will return with pleasure. I recommend this hostel

The desserts are excellent, the service is top notch and the setting is charming.
27/08/2024: I admit that it made me dive back into North American travel, on this point we are faithful to the atmosphere.
On the other hand, culinaryly, I would qualify. We're more interested in quiche than good, generous American pie.
Here it's a meager slice of pie with unseasoned iceberg salad for a price that is surely inflated in high season (sticker placed on the menu).
Totally outdated service. When we have around twenty seats, we try to take at least one other person in the kitchen or in the dining room even if I know that it is not easy and that the restaurant is cramped. Disappointed but it's still homemade and the owners do their best.

01/09/2024: Disappointing: the €16 salad with escalivade and tuna is actually a bit of bagged salad, 4 slices of tomatoes, a large spoonful of escalivade (made with just peppers and onions, and maybe a little tomato), canned tuna sprinkled on top and 4 small toasted toasts with melted cheese....!! The dessert was better, traditional almond cake good and a scoop of turon ice cream, but the portion was small for €8!, the price charged by real restaurants and inns in the surrounding area is lower. I saw that they charge €7 for a portion of fries!! I was also surprised by the place, it's more of a snack bar than a real restaurant, which will suit people coming from the campsite or the swimming pool.

Nice choice of original cocktails.
The Auvergne punch, with verbena, is worth tasting.
As a starter, you can choose the pâté en croute. The portion is generous, tasty with a nice balance between the ingredients.
Duck confit just excellent.
The burger might seem 'a little tight' to you.
Error, the steak is a nice thickness and the Brioche bread is successful.
Not hungry for dessert? Order an ice cream. Artisanal, its fragrance is subtle.
Throughout the meal, the servers were extremely attentive.

22/09/2024: The experience in this restaurant was already not good. In addition, my boyfriend had food poisoning with mussels from here at the clearance sale. It's a Thai restaurant but the sale was just mussels and a meat dish bathed in oil with three poor potatoes. I'm giving two stars because the starters were good but the rest was really a disappointment. On top of all that we paid 27€ per person

26/07/2024: We took the market menu and we were not disappointed, good value for money. The staff is also very pleasant.
Just a small downside in the veranda which is magnificent, I felt a little hot when the sun made its appearance.
Apart from this small point, I recommend this establishment.
01/07/2024: We like to come there regularly with my partner. The opportunity to eat good food made with fresh and very well presented products. The chef really masters gastronomy and for the quality of the dishes offered the price is really very interesting. Thank you for delighting us with each of our visits.

27/11/2024: Nous avons déjeuné et avons apprécié notre menu avec au choix 3 entrées, 3 plats, 3 desserts pour 30 euros. Possibilité d'une entrée et plat, ou seulement un plat ou plat et dessert. Tout était très bon et joliment présenté. Nous avions déjà apprécié ce restaurant en juin 2023 et octobre 2023. A refaire sans hésitation.
12/10/2024: Restaurant simple et de bon gout, il faut monter a l’etage pour acceder a la salle ou un acceuil simple vous est réservé. La carte propose 3 entres, 3 plats et 3 desserts, gage de produit frais et de qualité. Les cuissons des viandes sont maîtrisées et les desserts sont l’apothéose de cet excellent diner. Y aller sans hésiter et y revenir. Tres belle teble Vannetaise.
