02/08/2026: Good evening, this is a café/bar with a PMU betting service and a daily lunch special. The interior is very clean and well laid out; you're not crowded, thanks to the large windows along the entire length of the café. However, getting a smile is a challenge, which is the foundation of any business. It's a real shame, otherwise the rating would have been much higher. The coffees we ordered were good. The service needs improvement! I'm removing the photos, which are from 2020 and no longer reflect the establishment.

07/07/2026: Traditional French cuisine in a relaxing setting with excellent service, reasonable prices, and right next to the charming and very typical St Leu La Foret train station.

09/09/2026: The staff were very welcoming, and there's a large outdoor terrace. You can also eat there. I highly recommend it.

07/09/2026: I only tried the mixed platter, but it was amazing! And the IPA is great too. As for the atmosphere, it was perfect: live music all through August and a little activity. Seriously, thanks team! ✌️

30/05/2026: Dishes served with bland sauces, especially the poached eggs and the scallops. There's no effort put into the preparation of the dishes. The blueberry tartlet dessert isn't really a blueberry tartlet at all... it's a shortbread base covered with a thick layer of whipped cream and decorated with a few meager blueberries. It's a shame for a mountainous region not to find a truly authentic blueberry tartlet. The view and setting were stunning, and the service was impeccable.

15/09/2026: A place where history was written! You'll probably be surprised by how many seats there are...about 220 in different parts and floors. The menu is classic French Brasserie, I recommend the fish tartare or the farmer's chicken... the flagship wine here is Chateau Picque Caillou from Pessac, both red and white. But you'll also find a cellar with a pretty decent wine shop, where you can choose from lots of great wines!

15/09/2026: The atmosphere, looks and location of the Brasserie Bordelaise carry this establishment....but the food is a big let down. This is really is a tourist restaurant and the quality of the food shows....such a shame, could be better. The wine list is good, but really how could you fail in respect to wine when you are located in the centre of Bordeaux. Of particular note was the cheese board for dessert, which was extremely drab. Large quanities of very similar cows cheese that was too warm and felt like it came from a supermarket. Where is the imagination here? As other reviewers have said, there are much better places to eat at in central Bordeaux.

The chef created a vegetarian dish that was a true work of art: a guacamole and vegetable tartine, including olives shaped like little rabbits—a beautiful, rustic plate. I loved it! 👉 Please note: be sure to let the chef know in advance if you are vegetarian so they can plan accordingly. Thank you so much!!

18/08/2026: We went for dinner on a Friday in August. Even though we hadn't booked, they quickly found a table for four. The food was delicious, and the prices were reasonable. The staff were helpful, even though our French wasn't the best.

03/04/2026: It's a very pretty and comfortable hotel right in the center of the village, just steps from the thermal baths and the gondola lift to the slopes. We received a very warm welcome, both charming and professional. Our room was lovely, bright, comfortable, and well-heated, with absolutely everything we needed (and even a few extras). Breakfast is perfect, served in the ski bar below the hotel. The ski bar is also a great place to have lunch and afternoon tea after skiing. Fantastic! We'll be back.

24/02/2026: Once again, a flawless experience for this hotel and all its staff! We come here very regularly as a family (grandparents, children, and grandchildren), and for us, it's the best option in the entire region: a charming hotel with all-wood decor, very well maintained, with many thoughtful touches both in and out of the room, and a fantastic team: special mention to Ambre, Matthias, and all the staff (including the wonderful housekeepers). We can't wait to come back!
