26/07/2026: Lunch today, the welcome and service were impeccable. The main course was good, but I was very disappointed with the desserts. Paying €9.50 for a slice of brioche, some bland chocolate that tasted like water, and a scoop of ice cream is outrageous. It requires no cooking or preparation at all; at that price, you can find excellent and delicious desserts in other restaurants. I'm not sure I'll be back.

17/09/2026: I visited the Lutétia for the first time today, and my experience was generally very positive. I had a coffee and bought a pack of cigarettes, and I also took some time to look around the establishment, the different menus, and the products on offer. The place seemed clean, well-maintained, and quite pleasant. The tables were clean, and the space allowed me to sit comfortably and have a coffee or a bite to eat. The selection was quite extensive: sandwiches, paninis, burgers, tacos, kebabs, pizzas, fries, salads, crepes, and ice cream. The prices on the menus also seemed quite varied, with several options to suit different budgets. I particularly appreciated the fact that you could choose from several types of dishes rather than just a typical coffee or brasserie menu. During my visit, I noticed a fairly international clientele, with many people who appeared to be from abroad. There were fewer French customers at that time, but this can obviously vary depending on the time of day and day. For a foreigner staying or living in the area and looking for a simple and accessible place to have a coffee, a bite to eat, or simply take a break, the place seemed perfectly adequate. The staff was also pleasant. The man and woman who worked there were polite, professional, and welcoming. I had no problems with the service. I should mention that I haven't yet tried the food, so my opinion mainly concerns the coffee, cleanliness, service, and overall atmosphere. For a first visit, my impression is positive, and I would gladly return to try the food next time.

14/09/2026: A small but charming place, also with a terrace, generous portions, and a great value set menu (we had the €10.90 set menu). It was delicious, very close to the Eiffel Tower, and the staff were very friendly and attentive, plus the service was fast. A 10 out of 10! The kebab and fries were delicious 😉

24/08/2026: Visited KESSARI Indien for dinner after our friends recommended the place for good Indian food in the middle of the city. The restaurant is tucked away in one of the older streets of Paris, surrounded by beautiful old buildings. The combination of the historic surroundings and the lively atmosphere gives the area a unique charm. + The food was very authentic and flavorful, and we were not disappointed with anything we ordered. + The gentleman who owns the restaurant personally took good care of us. He explained the food and available options and helped us decide what to order. + Started mixed vegetable pakoras, served with mint chutney, tamarind chutney, and pickle. + The paneer chilli was very good and had a nice kick. + Vegetable pulao and chana dal with tandoori roti were also nicely prepared. + The food was slightly on the spicy side, but you can ask them to reduce the spice when ordering. + The outdoor seating was a highlight, especially with the surrounding Parisian streets and old buildings. Indoor seating is also available. + The restaurant is conveniently located close to the Paris Metro network, making it easy to reach without a car. + We also tried tea at the end and it was amazing. + We were pleasantly surprised to receive complimentary halwa for dessert. A very thoughtful gesture and a nice way to finish the meal. + Service was warm and personal, which made the dinner feel more welcoming. ~ Some dishes can be quite spicy, so if you prefer milder food, mention your preference while ordering. KESSARI Indien is a nice find if you're looking for authentic Indian food while exploring central Paris. The combination of good food, friendly hospitality, outdoor seating and the character of the old Parisian neighbourhood made our dinner particularly enjoyable. Definitely worth trying if you're in the area and craving Indian food.

02/09/2026: A pleasant place with a warm welcome. We booked and made a special trip to have lunch here based on the positive reviews. Unfortunately, we were disappointed to learn that of the three dishes on offer, only two were left at 1 p.m. When you only offer a few dishes (which is a good thing!), it would be better to have them all available. Especially since the remaining hanger steak was NOT of French origin, and for an inn in the countryside, it's a real shame not to prioritize local products. At least the wine came from nearby and was delicious. Otherwise, the staff seemed overwhelmed, and we were only given the menu after a 15-minute wait. If you're passing through anyway, why not, but otherwise, it's not worth the detour. In response to the restaurant: it seems I've touched a nerve, or that the establishment only accepts unanimously positive reviews. Their litany below, riddled with pseudo-intellectual and pseudo-sociological musings, would have you believe I gave a one-star rating and completely trashed the restaurant, which is absolutely not the case. I left a mixed review, perfectly reflecting my experience, mentioning both positive and negative points. Moreover, they didn't address any of my criticisms (particularly regarding why they choose to use German rather than French meat) but merely insinuated that I simply shouldn't have left a comment (because I don't know anything about it!). Are we living in a democratic country or in Stalin's USSR? One has to wonder… As for the claim that we arrived spontaneously, that is a complete fabrication. Admittedly, we booked on the same day, but we always call restaurants before arriving to make sure they can accommodate us (see the attached photo of my call history, which shows I called at 12:39 PM). The owner even answered "with pleasure!" on the phone; if he's so bothered by walk-in customers, he should have let us know, and we would have eaten somewhere else. In any case, it's a roadside inn, so it makes sense that their main clientele would be travelers passing through who want to stop for a bite to eat—unplanned, of course! It's an inn after all, not a gourmet restaurant, so I don't see how the lack of a reservation could be the customer's fault. Finally, another false insinuation regarding "my behavior" with the owner: he sold me a bottle of wine, quite pleased with himself, and seemed to have no problem with me. Perhaps you're confusing him with someone else… In any case, the establishment's pathetic and absurd response makes me think I should perhaps have left a star…

29/08/2026: A must-visit! L'Auberge des Côteaux charms from the moment you arrive with its warm atmosphere and attentive service, both friendly and readily available. On the plate, the promise is kept: the cuisine is a true delight. The dishes are flavorful, generous, and perfectly executed, showcasing fresh, top-quality ingredients. We particularly commend the owners' commitment to promoting local produce, notably through a fine selection of Cravant wines. An authentic and remarkable restaurant that I wholeheartedly recommend. Yours in the Côteaux region!
