11/09/2026: I came here after seeing the positive reviews and was looking forward to treating myself to a nice dinner after two days of work in the area. The presentation was lovely, but unfortunately the food was very disappointing. I ordered the €26 Black Angus noix d’entrecôte, cooked medium. Despite the centre still being pink, the steak was extremely chewy and difficult to eat, and it wasn’t properly warm when it arrived. The fries were also very thin and not hot — honestly, I found them worse than frozen fries. I raised the issue with the waitress while I was eating. I was told the chewiness was because Angus beef contains fat, and if I wanted something else I would need to pay for another dish. I tried to continue eating it but eventually gave up after about half and paid the bill in full. Such a shame because it looked much better than it tasted. Based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend the Black Angus noix d’entrecôte. Edit on 11/9 to reply the restaurant response Thank you for your response. I fully understand that ribeye has more texture and fat than fillet. My review describes my experience with the particular steak I was served, which I found extremely chewy, with a significant amount of tough tissue, and I was unable to finish it. Regarding the service, I can only describe the conversation as I experienced and understood it. When I raised the issue, I understood from the waitress that if I chose another dish, I would need to pay for it. Had I understood that a replacement would be provided without an additional charge, I would of course have accepted it rather than continuing to struggle with the steak and leaving approximately half of it uneaten. I paid the bill in full and left without making any further issue of it. My review is simply an account of my experience that evening.

28/07/2026: Excellent food, perhaps it doesn't have the classic Parisian decor, but once the food arrives it's art, I loved the mussels with n'duja and the tartare with bone marrow, friendly and very fast service.

01/09/2026: Honestly? It was great. A quick dinner with our daughter before she started boarding school. We found this place by chance. We weren't disappointed at all. The service was excellent. We ordered pizza because we were in a hurry. They were delicious. The owner is lovely. It was a bit noisy, but not too noisy (the terrace is on the sidewalk). The bill was very reasonable. I think we'll be back regularly for the next two years.

The welcome is warm, the local cuisine delicious on the shaded terrace, and the heated pool is pure bliss under the Var sun. A truly special place to recharge your batteries far from everything.
