26/05/2026: First stay, but certainly not the last. A very pleasant discovery regarding the room and the restaurant.

24/05/2026: We had a wonderful culinary experience! After three and a half hours stuck in traffic between Deauville and Honfleur, frustrated by the lack of parking, we decided to turn around and stop at the Auberge de la Tour. It was the best decision of our chaotic day! Pure bliss: a warm welcome, very helpful and friendly staff, and a divine meal! The chef even came to greet us at the end of our meal. Thank you for welcoming us at such a late hour and for delighting our taste buds! We will definitely be back.

03/05/2026: I travelled from England to Paris and this was one of the best restaurants that I visited whilst here. Dolly was friendly and provided quick service. Her chicken biriyani, chicken tikka, chicken korma, pilau, and green beans was delicious. Above all the cheese chapati was stupendous. We also had the mix fruit crumble which was amazing 🤩 Would highly recommend and will come back soon !!

24/08/2026: A consistently warm welcome in this very pleasant setting, and tasty, inventive cuisine. One disappointment, however: I asked for fruit to replace the dessert on the set menu. In the middle of August, I expected seasonal fruit: peach, nectarine, plum, grape... but no. Instead, I was brought a very sad-looking orange on a plate, straight from the refrigerator. Don't they know about fruit in the Hautes-Pyrénées?

11/08/2026: I read the reviews before booking and felt confident that we would have a good evening. Sadly that was not the case. The restaurant has recently changed hands and our experience was not particularly good. The service and quality of the food was very average.

29/05/2026: Enjoyable evening meal on the terrace. We were served quickly and the waitress was pleasant. We stayed for quite a while and weren't pressured to order more (we each had a cocktail, a pizza, a dessert, and a coffee). Very good pizza!

29/05/2026: Restaurant L’Opéra will transport you to Italy, a culinary delight whether you choose the different types of pizzas or other dishes. A must-try! The attentive team will welcome you with kindness and a smile. I highly recommend this establishment, which will tantalize your taste buds.

18/08/2026: A very pleasant surprise at this country restaurant, just a few kilometers from the charming villages of Chatel-la-Montagne and Montagnier. A single, but superb, menu. A very warm welcome from the owner, who is also the chef and waitress, and the lovely terrace, perfect for these sweltering temperatures. In short: A wonderful evening! PhC.

20/09/2026: The wost service ever - it took 30 minutes for my order and it wasn’t complete: - My coke wasn’t well closed so it spilled in my bag - The sauces I paid for were forgotten Plus the defibrillator should be maintained

31/08/2026: Very good restaurant, but the vegetables accompanying the meat, especially the potatoes, could be cooked differently. Not everyone likes the skin on. (It's a shame the owners don't respond to comments, so we can't say it could improve.) I walked past your restaurant and wanted to reserve a table for two, but unfortunately, I noticed that the starters are always the same, and the main courses haven't changed either, so I didn't make a reservation. What a shame.

31/08/2026: We stopped here for a quick lunch. Good, fresh food, very friendly service, and excellent value for money.

05/09/2026: I have mixed feelings about our experience. The welcome was pleasant and the food, overall, was good. However, we ordered veal escalopes with cream and mushrooms, and unfortunately, there was absolutely no cream in the first few plates: only a veal stock sauce. We pointed this out to the waitress, who nevertheless insisted that there was indeed cream. Finally, a new veal escalope with cream was prepared for us, and this time, there was indeed cream, which clearly allowed us to see the difference. It's a shame, because the dish was good, but we were disappointed to have to insist to get what we had actually ordered. The welcome and the overall quality of the food were satisfactory, but this situation unfortunately left a bad impression.

02/09/2026: The daily special was terrible: too much sauce, too salty, and tasteless. The fries were overcooked, definitely from the day before. The toast was cold. The music was too loud.
