30/04/2026: This is our second time at this restaurant and it's been pure bliss. The staff is lovely, so attentive, and makes you feel truly welcome. As soon as we finish our meal, our plates are cleared away, and we're served with a smile. The waiters and waitresses think of everything and are incredibly responsive. The food is excellent and very good value for money. We'll be back again and again! Thank you to the whole team!

29/04/2026: April 2026 Update: My experience was much better than the previous one. I was very well received by the staff, served quickly, and everything went smoothly. I have just adjusted my rating accordingly. Disastrous experience. 20 minutes to place an order and over an hour's wait... without being served! We left the restaurant. Before leaving, the waitress apologized but informed us: "We will cancel your order as it wasn't yet in the kitchen." Even after an hour, the order still hadn't arrived in the kitchen!!! This is absolutely ridiculous!

24/04/2026: Honestly, as someone from Réunion, I'm rarely this impressed by a restaurant in mainland France… but this was a real revelation! The flavors were incredibly true to those back home: perfectly seasoned, delicious dishes, and above all, that authentic taste that instantly transports you to Réunion. The sausage rougail and the side dishes were expertly prepared. You can tell it's made with respect and love for Réunion cuisine. A true little piece of the island in Bordeaux—it warms the heart (and the stomach). I highly recommend it!

22/04/2026: A fantastic find recommended by a friend! The Bo Bun is excellent, and the green curry coconut milk soup is a real treat, perfectly balanced. The restaurant is very clean, the staff is welcoming, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality. I'll definitely be back!

20/04/2026: So-so... An €18 set menu that's not worth more. Nice terrace and friendly welcome. For starters, four rings of fried calamari served lukewarm and very tough, on two wilted lettuce leaves. The main course was a plate of pasta with tomato sauce and Parmesan, and to finish, a decent Mont Blanc, in the form of fromage blanc topped with chestnut cream. Perhaps we were just unlucky with the set menu today...

20/02/2026: We loved this place and visited twice during our week in Megeve. A friendly welcome and good hospitality at an unpretentious cafe bar. Food is consistently good and home cooked. A refreshing, authentic spot in an overpriced, overly-glamorous town.

06/03/2026: Came all the way from Tokyo hunting for cassoulet and Restaurant les Fabricants did not disappoint! Excellent ambience, delicious food, kind staff - a real gem! English menus and very friendly English speaking staff will make you feel right at home. The cassoulet was incredible, and the portion enormous (it was too much for a solo diner but I tried my best). Will definitely visit again on my next trip to Paris.

04/03/2026: A truly strange experience. The card reader is hidden solely to force you to pay in cash, making you believe they don't accept cards. You have to fight for several minutes to finally pay by card. Otherwise, the food is decent. The portions are generous, but some of the ingredients leave something to be desired. It's a real shame it ended like this.

14/05/2026: Based on my experience in the Batignolles neighborhood for the past year 😄😄😄. I'm a regular customer here. And I find it regrettable to read negative comments that reinforce the bad faith of some. I think it's important to change attitudes and tell the server directly if a dish isn't to your liking, so they can take action in a timely manner. The quality of the service and the food has never disappointed me, but mistakes happen, and they're not irreparable. I'll continue to enjoy spending pleasant afternoons there.

03/05/2026: The menu was limited and not very exciting. The €32 lobster roll was certainly tasty, but the lobster and prawns were cut so small it was hard to tell if they were even there... far too much cocktail sauce, hardly any avocado... The same goes for the rum baba, which was decent but nothing special for €14. It's a shame that, with a chocolate shop across the street, a small square of chocolate wasn't offered with the coffee. In short, an unmemorable experience, except for the friendly staff.

09/05/2026: A getaway with my husband, planned two months in advance: car, accommodation, meals, and activities between rain showers and the tides. Overall, the stay was decent, with a few positive points, notably good food at the restaurant and a nice wine list. However, several things significantly marred our experience. During two meals we had there—one costing over €50 and the other €40—we were served the exact same vegetable side dishes. We were also treated to a charcuterie platter that looked like it came straight from a supermarket and a soup so salty it seemed like the salt shaker had been spilled in it. As for the wine service, it's a shame the waiters weren't attentive: neither of them thought to refill our glasses before we finished our main course. The staff, for their part, seemed to vary depending on their mood. One waitress appeared to be able to control her emotions, while another was particularly abrupt. If I had been alone, I probably would have left. The overall impression is of an overwhelmed, inattentive staff who operate on autopilot, without any real attention to the guests. This is regrettable, as their technical skills do not compensate for their lack of interpersonal skills. As for the hotel itself, the prices are high for a service that does not meet the advertised expectations. Throughout my stay, a persistent smell of urine filled the room. The toilet bowl was clearly not cleaned properly, which reinforced this impression of unsanitary conditions. The sheets were only changed once in five days. The decorative fabric cushions on the bed mainly convey a lack of hygiene; it would be better to leave them out altogether. As for the pillows, they were soft and yellowed and definitely needed replacing. A little baking soda and vinegar would do wonders… I will not return to this establishment and I will not recommend it. We also spoke with several local residents, who have noticed a decline in quality over time. Unfortunately, only tourists passing through seem to be able to fall for it anymore. In 2026, it would also be time to seriously consider accessibility and compliance with the 2005 law concerning public places. Since the CEO is presented as the owner of numerous businesses in the port, it would be wise to invest more in staff training, as well as in hygiene and accessibility improvements.
