04/01/2026: Passing through Berck, we came because they had Flemish carbonnade on the menu. Unfortunately, not many restaurants offer it. Ultimately, we were disappointed; the Flemish carbonnade wasn't really carbonnade at all... The beef was very dry and the sauce much too thin. I'm only giving it 4 stars because of the waiter, who was truly very pleasant.

27/05/2026: Food 5 Service 5 Cost 4 Just happened to find this while staying at a nearby hotel. Went right at opening time (10:00) on a Sunday and saw several people seated already. Placed our order (a Pastrami and a turkey sandwich), in English as typical non-French-speaking tourists do, and the guy behind the counter didn't blink an eye, unlike hospitality staff in some other European establishments. (By contrast, the wait staff in northern and central Switzerland Italian restaurants are unbearable with their pretentious Italian refusing to speak a single German or English word.) The food took a while but was great, both in presentation and flavor. Next thing we noticed, every seat was taken and it wasn't even 10:30, yet.The only downside was the stiff price tag, €44 for two sandwiches and two lemonades. But both food and service were delicious!

26/05/2026: There are places we love to visit because of the staff and their stickers! Paper Boy is one of them. Delicious and generous portions. Bonus: you can draw on their placemats, for both children and adults.

As for the waitress, if you're so unpleasant because of your job, consider changing careers. There are many reviews highlighting your lack of professionalism; perhaps it's time for management to take action.

19/07/2026: A beautiful panoramic view of the ocean with both terasse and indoor sitting. Ceiling high windows overlook the ocean with a atmospheric view of the sunset. The food perfectly accompanies the beauty of the view with exquisite combinations of flavors and artistic presentation. This is a perfect restaurant for an elegant but relaxed dinner with high class french cuisine. It's pricy but it's definitely worth it.

30/06/2026: Delivery order. The maki was very coarse. The salmon was very thick, and the rice was tasteless (plain white rice). I've been very disappointed lately. It's not what it used to be. Next time I'll order elsewhere.

29/06/2026: It's important when leaving a review not to penalize the restaurant because of an Uber Eats delivery driver who's being reckless. The food was very good, as usual, well-prepared, and the atmosphere seemed pleasant. I would gladly return. No complaints about the restaurant. The manager is very friendly.

01/06/2026: The chef has a lot of ideas for the pairing and combination of each dish, and the appetizers are particularly surprising. It turns out that delicious French cuisine has distinct layers of texture, not just beautiful presentation.

15/12/2025: It was for a birthday. Victor and his father were lovely, as well as patient and helpful. Charming place, delicious food.

13/11/2025: We came as a family of 18 and frankly, we were all incredibly happy and satisfied with the meal. There was no waiting between courses; the gentleman who served us was single-handedly handling both the service and the kitchen. The portions were generous and catered for to everyone's preferences. And all this with a big smile! Thank you so much for this wonderful welcome and meal. I recommend this establishment 300%! And what's more, the gentleman is a photographer specializing in fine dining! 😉

30/06/2026: That's it, I've found my favorite sushi restaurant! The sushi is amazing, the portions are huge, the ingredients are fresh, and the service is incredibly welcoming! There's a wide selection, and plenty of options for vegetarians too. In short, go check out Sushi Rapide!
