26/02/2026: Today, I had one of the worst experiences I can remember at this restaurant, and I will never return. It's an establishment best avoided. Just read other reviews to see that this isn't an isolated incident, especially regarding the owner's husband's behavior. After waiting for over an hour and a half without being served, a foreign family with two young daughters, and after several inappropriate remarks from the waiter, they decided to leave without eating. They asked for the bill for the drinks they had consumed on the terrace while waiting for their table inside, and the owner, in a haughty and provocative tone, informed them that three beers (25cl) and two glasses of tap water came to €18. The customer replied that if he were charged for tap water, he would share his experience online, which seems perfectly legitimate to me: every customer has the right to express their opinion, whether positive or negative. The worst happened next. After hearing this, the owner stormed out, completely enraged and aggressive, chasing and verbally abusing the father in front of his daughters and all the other customers present. The scene was so disproportionate that many of us felt utterly ashamed. Such behavior is completely unacceptable in an establishment open to the public, and even more so in a family-friendly environment like a ski resort. This kind of attitude seriously damages the image of the restaurant industry in the region. I regret that this review may affect the employees, who work hard every day, but I couldn't let this incident go unaddressed. People don't just go to a restaurant to eat, but also to have a pleasant experience, and unfortunately, this time, that wasn't the case.

17/05/2026: Arriving at the end of service, we were greeted with a smile. The amuse-bouche was a curry with young shoots and red berries, followed by a veal bite on a julienne of carrots and cauliflower with toasted almonds for crunch, and homemade kneddles. The portion was generous, and to accompany the coffee, they offered homemade chocolate chip cookies (as with all the other products). Seriously, it's worth the detour; you won't be disappointed.

28/05/2026: Fantastic! The setting and decor are superb. The waitresses are lovely, the menu is excellent, high-quality, and the value for money is outstanding. A nice bonus is the bossa nova playlist and the terrace, which is shaded in places so you can fully enjoy the space.

24/05/2026: We discovered this restaurant during a photo outing with my students… Superb terrace where we enjoyed the sun and delicious salads. Walking a little further from the Place de la Bastille is definitely worth it!

29/03/2026: Excellent experience at Schmitt pastry shop! The products are of high quality, as beautiful as they are delicious. The pastries are delicate, well-balanced, and full of flavor. The selection is varied and makes you want to try everything. The welcome is pleasant and the service efficient. A must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth!

05/03/2026: We were extremely disappointed by this restaurant. The good reviews had made us want to book, but in the end, nothing went as planned. There were nine of us, six of whom ordered raclette. We were brought only one raclette grill with a small cheese. We asked if there would only be one for six people, and we were told yes. Honestly, how is that possible? The restaurant was practically empty. We had to insist on getting a second grill, which was finally brought. And the most surprising thing is that we finished both cheeses… without even feeling truly full. So how would we have managed with six people on only one cheese, especially considering the price of the raclette, which is clearly not cheap? It's incomprehensible and very unacceptable. The fondue, meanwhile, was of poor quality. Another disappointing point: no one came to ask us if everything was alright during the meal. We really felt neglected. It was my first time at this restaurant, and it will be my last. A very bad experience.

31/05/2026: I've been going there for several years and I've never been disappointed. Excellent restaurant and a very warm welcome. The same goes for their home delivery. No problems at all. Yesterday, we ordered poke bowls. They were excellent. An excellent restaurant that I highly recommend. The best Japanese restaurant in Maisons-Alfort.
