29/05/2026: Authentic Italian cuisine and a warm welcome, I recommend it!

29/05/2026: The food was decent, nothing special. The dishes were basic and lacked real flavor (the burrata and veal were tasteless), and the value for money was poor (our deciding factor was the pasta with clams or vongole, which was expensive for what it was). They served arugula as a salad without even a drizzle of balsamic vinegar. It's a far cry from authentic, generous, and flavorful Italian cuisine; it's more of a rather successful but rushed pastiche.

09/07/2026: Excellent authentic Italian food. We had the lunch menu, which at the time of our visit including choices of the pasta carbonara, pasta Bolognese, Italian salad, and Margareta pizza. The interior was quiet and air conditioned, which was well appreciated in the midst of a heatwave. We met Mamma, who was delightful and taught us a bit of Italian.

15/07/2026: I ordered a goat cheese and honey pizza today (because my usual pizzeria wasn't serving pizza around 1:30 PM) and frankly, I ate it very quickly while it was still hot: it was so disgusting. I swear! And I mean it: a thick layer of cheese, it looked like a flan, and that was it, no taste of honey at all, just a few bits of overripe pink ham. This pizzeria is definitely not what it used to be (for those who remember Dreux). It's gone downhill fast. The service and welcome were very mediocre.

10/07/2026: Ended up here by chance for lunch. Very welcoming. Large terrace. Air conditioning inside and plenty of space. We ate pizza, the pasta salad, a steak, and the beef tartare... all very tasty. The tartare and the steak were definitely sublime. Prices are very reasonable. Fast and very friendly service & staff. Highly recommended!

15/07/2026: An apprentice (with long pink nails) was listless, unkempt, and humorless (we joked by ordering rare beef tartare and she replied, "Whatever," she needs to chill out and find a new career path because it's going to be a long road to retirement). Her companions were drinking beer without eating, which is strictly forbidden. We took out the voucher for champagne (ordering a bottle of wine anyway because we're not stingy) but were told there were only two flutes left, even though the restaurant was empty... what a joke... Luckily, the other waitresses improved a bit after this apprentice left. The food warmer was turned on late, and the fries were like cardboard. You can feel the owners' absence because, clearly, when the cat's away, the mice will play. We're regulars at the Bistrot Regent in Saint Seurin sur l'Isle and are never disappointed; the service and food are impeccable!

12/07/2026: A very bad experience. I ordered a medium-rare steak. It arrived way overcooked. When I pointed this out, the first waitress (a brunette) was haughty, nonchalant, and unpleasant. Instead of apologizing, she told me the cooks had "checked the meat inside," with an attitude that made it seem like my word was being questioned. The second steak then arrived rare. Two tries, two mistakes. My husband ordered a medium burger. It arrived rare. Instead of remaking the burger, they simply put it back in the oven. The result: the bun was dry, the toppings were overcooked, and the patty was still rare. The burger was inedible. The most shocking thing was hearing the cook and the first waitress making comments about us from the kitchen. This lack of respect is unacceptable. I would, however, like to thank the second waitress, who was polite, apologized, and never spoke down to us. Unfortunately, this wasn't enough to make up for a very disappointing experience. Mistakes can happen, but the attitude of some staff members is unacceptable. We will not be returning.

05/07/2026: The setting is fantastic, the waitresses and waitresses are helpful and lovely, the menu is good, I highly recommend the dishes and desserts.

04/07/2026: We went to eat at the restaurant as a group of four and discovered a very pleasant place. An address to remember! The homemade food was very good. We were served by Stéphanie, such a lovely and cheerful person! We truly had a wonderful time.

18/06/2026: We wanted to try Le Pressoir again. Unbeknownst to us, we arrived on the evening of France's first World Cup match, and what a surprise: a new team, a new menu, contests, real cocktails, a new manager who listens to his customers, and above all, a team that really creates a great atmosphere! It just goes to show you should never dwell on a new experience. See you soon at Le Pressoir!

23/07/2026: A disappointing visit; some areas were poorly maintained. We were told not to pick the few fruits and vegetables that were there, which is understandable. However, they were rotting either because they fell or rotted on the tree, like apples.

07/07/2026: I visited in early July 2026, and my memory of it was much more beautiful than it actually was! It seems abandoned. The central fountain is out of order. The trees are poorly maintained, there's tall grass, and general disarray around the buildings. A disappointing observation, especially considering there's an entrance fee. Stay at the reception area and admire the model, which is absolutely stunning... and it's free!

25/05/2026: A magical place on the banks of the Gironde. Spacious rooms with magnificent views. The restaurant is a must-try. Refined cuisine and a pleasant wine list. Highly recommended.

22/05/2026: Had a delicious meal, beautiful view from the terrace by the water.

06/04/2026: Family room suitable for a couple with two children, and parking available. It's clean, and there's information available about Honfleur and the surrounding area. We stayed for two nights. The breakfasts are plentiful, the restaurant is very good, and the staff is helpful and very friendly. It's a peaceful, green location, just a few minutes' drive from Honfleur. The children really enjoyed the Easter egg hunt on Easter Monday. The only slight drawback: the curtains weren't quite dark enough for us. We recommend this quiet and well-located hotel.

22/03/2026: We ate at the restaurant. First of all, the location is beautiful and peaceful. The welcome was very warm and friendly. Finally, the food was excellent, flavorful, and high-quality, all at affordable prices.

28/01/2026: The owner passed away in the summer of 2025, so the restaurant has been closed until further notice ever since… 😢

05/06/2026: Willow room, no hangers or coat rack. Otherwise, nothing to complain about, this gîte is magnificent. The cook is a gem. 👍🙏 The food is better than some restaurants.
