25/06/2026: A very nice café and co-working space, with a great selection of hot and cold drinks, and desserts (including gluten-free options!). And bingo! They have espresso and tonic, wow! It's very rare to find that in Lyon! During this heatwave, it's nice and warm inside; there's no air conditioning, but thanks to the old building and high ceilings, it's quite comfortable. I highly recommend it!

13/06/2026: Excellent spot with a really cozy, upcycled decor. Try the coffee! It's excellent! Also recommended is the sugar-free, French-made orangeade.

03/05/2026: A superb brunch! The place is beautifully decorated, pleasant, and airy! The quality of the brunch is truly excellent, with high-quality ingredients. The fact that it's all-you-can-eat is especially nice for brunch. Furthermore, the quality of service and the friendliness of the waitresses add to the enjoyment! A big thank you for this wonderful experience!

24/04/2026: Excellent and original mocktails (the cocoa was a delightful discovery with the raspberry and lemon). Special mention for the freshness of the raspberries. A chill spot. Highly recommended.

02/08/2026: I've been going to this place for over 10 years, so on my way to vacation, this is the first time I've found the toilets truly filthy and the tables disgusting. I asked a young man to give them a quick clean, but he only did mine; the one next to mine was worse, but it didn't even occur to him. And yet, it was past 1 p.m. and there weren't many people there. What a shame.

04/10/2025: While on vacation, we decided to try this chain. Well, we were very disappointed. I don't understand the majority of reviews... The sushi lacked flavor, the proportions were off with the rice, and the size was also disappointing. The filling was really small compared to the rice. It's a shame that the sushi menu doesn't specify, like the poke bowl menu does, that the tuna is raw. We were misled because we don't eat raw tuna, and when we pointed this out to the woman, she simply replied, "You'll have to taste it." She didn't really listen, which is a shame because the service and friendliness were excellent. It's incomparable to other chains like Sushi Makers or even Côté Sushi.

27/07/2026: A small restaurant with only one daily menu and a choice of 2 or 3 starters 😉, 2 main courses, and 3 desserts. Friendly welcome, generous portions, and a home-style feel. If you eat on the terrace, you'll feel like you're in a small outdoor café, and inside it's rustic and warm with a large fireplace. In short, you can go there 😉

There's nothing to complain about: a warm welcome, impeccable service, and high-quality local products. The cuisine is delicious and generous. We highly recommend it and will gladly return.

22/01/2026: The value for money and the quality of the meals, the freshness of the food and the warm welcome from the waiters and the owner – everything is there to make you feel right at home.

14/01/2026: The place is stuck in the past. The menu is on a chalkboard, but they don't tell you that. The waitress was completely unprofessional; she came back at least three times for the bricks because she wasn't available, even though it was 12:15 pm. The same goes for the main courses; there were four of us, but we ate in pairs because the service was incredibly slow. We only got our bottle of wine almost at the very end, and the same goes for the after-dinner drinks; the owner brought them to us in dribs and drabs. The food is very classic: herring in oil, a classic, so it's hard to go wrong; the mechoui was very generous but very dry; the couscous was also very generous, but the semolina was just passable because the chicken was very dry and the broth was average. It's a place for locals who are regulars, but the price reflects the quality. The portions are indeed very generous, but the price is in line with the taste.

30/06/2026: This is a restaurant you absolutely must try on your trip. The welcome and service were very friendly, the selection was extensive, and the food was high quality, all at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend this stop! And the icing on the cake was that a bowl of fresh water was ready for our dog when we arrived.

19/06/2026: We called to come at 1:30 pm on our way to our holiday destination and received excellent service (quick, friendly, and efficient). The €12.90 set menu (starter buffet + daily special) is unbeatable in terms of quality, quantity, and price. The food was very good; we weren't expecting that for the price and location. Highly recommended.

31/03/2026: An OK option if you can’t find anywhere else to have lunch in Vieux Lyon. Service was good and staff were nice but the food isn’t great for what you pay. There’s better options in a gastronomical paradise like Lyon.
