11/07/2026: Great bakery, lovely staff and reasonable prices, very good!

10/07/2026: Bad Baguette Sandwich I honestly don’t understand the high Google rating for this bakery. The only saving grace of the chicken baguette sandwich was that it contained a generous amount of chicken. Unfortunately, it was served cold from a refrigerated display case, leaving the baguette soft and chewy instead of crusty. A good baguette should have a crusty crust with a soft interior. Refrigerating the sandwiches completely ruined the texture, and we didn’t realize they had been refrigerated until after purchasing and eating them. The hygiene also raised concerns. The employee initially used tongs to place the sandwich in a bag. However, when we asked to have it cut in half, she removed it with her bare hands, sliced it, handled both halves with her hands, and then immediately used the same hands to operate the cash register. Very disappointing.

26/07/2026: A very good restaurant; we went twice, ordering pizzas (Gina and Gargantua). The crust is thin with plenty of toppings and good quality ingredients. The thin crust is unique and allows you to better appreciate the other ingredients. They offer sweet and savory pizzas with tomato or cream bases at affordable prices (€17 for a pizza with duck breast). We also saw plates of baby squid, which were also generously portioned. The restaurant also offers desserts; they are large, indulgent, and above all, delicious. The tiramisu is a true tiramisu (cocoa, mascarpone, and coffee-soaked sponge cake), not a dessert in a glass like you see these days. The service was very welcoming and accommodating; Tess was quickly taken care of and moved us inside at our request because the wind was blowing very strongly (they weren't obligated to do so at all). The restaurant is worth the detour, and worth the 10-minute drive from Saint-Jean-de-Luz to eat a pizza or something else.

25/07/2026: Delicious food with very thin-crust and generous pizzas. Pleasant service with little waiting time between courses. I highly recommend it.

12/07/2026: After a wonderful afternoon in this little corner of paradise (superb beach, spotlessly clean), we ended our evening with our rather unruly children. Why not try a culinary adventure at this place? We were first greeted by the owner, Guillaume, thank you for your kindness and professionalism. The decor is a little quirky but so well thought out; you're quickly transported back to your school days. Bravo! Our waiter was equally attentive and discreet, which is so pleasant. As for the food, nothing to complain about, everything was a delight, despite a small (homemade) curry sauce that was mild but actually extremely spicy. A shame about that little (human) slip-up, no big deal. We'll definitely be back.

12/07/2026: A restaurant with real character! Over 25 years in business, it shows. The waiter immediately put us at ease with his informal address; we knew we were in for a good time. But above all, the pizzas were amazing! And the price was more than reasonable.

20/06/2026: We came to Strasbourg from Istanbul for a business trip and chose this restaurant for dinner with our friends. The food was truly delicious. The staff were extremely friendly, attentive, and hospitable. The quality of service also exceeded our expectations. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting Strasbourg.

04/06/2026: The staff were very kind and respectful. They explained that they had already ordered new signs with the correct prices. But one simple question remains: why didn't management take the initiative to temporarily correct the prices with a simple piece of paper and some tape while waiting for the new signs? As a result, it's the employees who have to embarrass themselves, justify themselves, and manage customer frustration instead of the manager. €20.90 for a plate of lamb skewers and a 33cl can of Coca-Cola. Thanks to the manager for leaving their staff to take the fall for mistakes that aren't their fault.

29/07/2026: Edit 2026: I really enjoy coming here to spend my evenings and have dinner. The servers are friendly, helpful, and warm. 💪 The meals are clean, neither too greasy nor too dry, and overall the entire menu is high quality. Whether it's the sauerkraut when it's available or anything else, everything is super fresh. The menu is regularly updated with seasonal vegetables and deliveries. In short, we love coming to spend time at this brasserie, which can sometimes truly enchant our evenings. -6 months: Lovely service, impeccable food and service, worthy of the country. Beautiful interior, clean restrooms. Truly an underrated place.

We read some negative reviews and I can say that we ate well and especially had a good laugh with Nicole who is very friendly and if you are also polite she will take care of you with a smile. 80 years old you have all our respect, well done team (beautiful family business).
