28/07/2026: The welcome was appalling, under the pretext that "it's busy." I had taken the precaution of making a reservation: I was told over the phone, "Today's special is chicken or fried carp, but you have to choose in advance." Strange, is this a school cafeteria? Upon our arrival, a woman was shouting loudly and running around frantically. The tables were set for groups, and there was hardly anyone in the dining room. After waiting, we were offered a corner of these tables, either right by the counter or in the aisle. "A little further away, please?" The response was, "Oh no, someone will be arriving at that other table," and the woman turned around and left. What a welcome! We decided to leave, even though she clumsily tried to get our attention. I should add that the dining room is small and outdated. Perhaps the "chicken of the day" would have made up for the poor service? In any case, we do not recommend this establishment and will not be returning.

01/07/2026: Overall, a very pleasant experience. The bluefin tuna was prepared and seared perfectly. The beef with onion caramelized cream sauce is amazingly tender. Recommend reservations before coming by 9pm.

27/06/2026: Was recommended so thought to try! Now one of the appetisers- the asparagus with Dan Dan style was definitely great! The sauce was awesome. But let me tell you about all else, the scotch egg starter was super mediocre. But what killed this place was the mislabelled takgalbi chicken. It was clear no one in this kitchen has ever been to Korea and had actual takgalbi. My Korean friend was so disappointed and we were about to complain about how misleading the menu was. Fine one bad main. But the beef was also nothing to write home about. Then on top of that they gave the sweetest glazed upon, sickeningly sweet. There's no need for that much sugar. All the French Asian twists were a disaster. Super slow service making bad food. So just don't order what we did. Probably get the carbonara with pork that looked good. Infidels - never again.

24/10/2025: We chose takeout twice and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The first time, we ordered flank steak and fries. The meat was cooked perfectly, with crispy fries and a small salad bowl to top it all off! The second time, we ordered market fish (sea bream and hake). Once again, it was cooked perfectly and accompanied by seasonal vegetables. Another treat! Warm welcome. A place to remember.

Upon arrival, a large parking lot opens onto a breathtaking panorama: in the distance, the towers of Lyon rise majestically. You overlook the city, surveying it with delight, all while royally avoiding the dreaded traffic jams. The setting does the rest. A superb shaded terrace, a mountain atmosphere that's both cozy and warm, ideal for disconnecting from everyday life without having to travel to the far reaches of the Alps. On the plate, you'll find modernized mountain cuisine: touches of originality and delicious flavor. In short, a truly satisfying place to eat, with generous portions, all without ever being pretentious. As for the team, they exude boundless energy: highly efficient, ultra-professional, they master all the intricacies of the profession with effortless flair. Their witty remarks and playful humor transform the service into a delightfully lively experience. Bravo!

31/05/2026: A wonderful family lunch at Relais des Merveilles! Everyone was charmed by this authentic, warm, and characterful place. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves from start to finish with a particularly successful Mother's Day menu. On the menu: a duo of asparagus with wild garlic, ballotine of chicken supreme stuffed with foie gras, homemade ravioli with a mushroom sauce (meltingly tender and absolutely delicious), a duo of cheeses from the Vésubie valley, and then a superb Pavlova with rhubarb marmalade to finish in style. Generous, flavorful, and perfectly executed cuisine, served with great kindness. All this on a magnificent sunny terrace offering a splendid view of the Vallée des Merveilles. A truly delightful and indulgent experience in an exceptional setting. An address we recommend without hesitation.

25/05/2026: Hello, it's a shame there have been so many changes since last year. We came for lunch this Sunday and were very disappointed! The service was completely disorganized, with very long waits between courses despite our requests! We ordered set menus, and the cod brandade was very average, with no fishy taste at all! I hope it's just the beginning of the season and that things will improve!

04/07/2026: A mixed experience. In my opinion, the value for money was disappointing. The ribeye steak was rather ordinary, and the pepper sauce didn't enhance the dish. The most embarrassing aspect was the water carafe, which contained visible residue. For the price, I expected better quality, both in terms of presentation and attention to detail. I hope these comments will be helpful in improving the service.
