07/05/2026: The owner is extremely friendly. The dishes are delicious, with authentic flavors. I've been several times, and what I particularly appreciate is that it stays open very late – which is rare in Paris for a good evening meal. The only slight drawback: the interior is a bit dark. I especially recommend it to those who prioritize taste and authenticity over ambiance.

15/05/2026: A most disappointing experience tonight. We ordered tarte flambée to take away. What a letdown when we saw the state of the tartes! They were far too cooked underneath; the burnt pastry tasted awful. There was hardly any cream on top, or what little there was was completely dried out. And a few bits of bacon were practically fighting amongst themselves! Frankly, this is the last time we'll be going back (unfortunately, it wasn't our first time, but we wanted to give it a second chance). The restaurant Au Chasseur used to be a reliable choice before the change of ownership. We won't be returning.

16/05/2026: Passing through the area, we hadn't booked in advance but received a very warm welcome and the food we ordered was excellent. The service was quick. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The atmosphere was pleasant. I recommend this restaurant.

15/05/2026: A warm welcome in a cozy setting. Everyone, including the apprentices, has a real knack for customer service, which is a pleasure to experience. I had a Parmigiano pizza and was blown away by the intensity of the flavors. The menu is intelligent and creative. I highly recommend this place.

08/06/2026: We stayed here during our trip to Val Joly. We received a very warm welcome despite the crowds. Our requests regarding seating were taken into account. Many of the staff were young and very professional! We ate outside, but the interior decor is very nice.

17/05/2026: A pleasant restaurant upstairs. When we arrived, we were a little alarmed by the noise from the bar downstairs. But there were no problems upstairs. The dishes are generous and of good quality. They offer classic Northern French brasserie fare. The service was excellent: attentive and friendly. Good value for money.

11/05/2026: My partner and I came for a drink, we waited 10 minutes and no one came. It wasn't even midnight, and online it says they're open until 3 a.m. on Sunday nights. My partner had to go inside to order, and the waiter told him they were closing. We waited for nothing... And to top it all off, there was a fight going on in the courtyard...

15/04/2026: Passing through Saint-Quentin for the Paris-Roubaix challenge, we had dinner at the Villa d'Isle restaurant. What a pleasant surprise! 🤩 The menu is very reasonably priced, especially considering the setting, the decor, and the quality of the food. The waitresses and waiters were incredibly friendly. It's been a long time since I've seen such a warm welcome in a restaurant, and often at much higher prices. Many restaurants could learn a thing or two from this one!
