10/09/2026: Excellent restaurant, the food is very good and the service impeccable :)

06/09/2026: Let's start with the positives: the dishes were delicious and truly showcased Russian and Slavic cuisine, and the service was quick. We were surprised to find the restaurant empty, and the prices had gone up. A sign outside the restaurant advertised a two-course meal for €23, but once inside, we were told the same menu was now €28, which was a bit off-putting. The staff were Russian-speaking and helpful, though somewhat reserved, and seemed surprised to see us arrive for lunch. Overall, it's a good restaurant with a few areas for improvement, but nothing that would warrant a five-star rating!

22/08/2026: A truly excellent find. There were many glowing reviews, and they weren't exaggerated. The exterior isn't much to look at, but the interior, the atmosphere, the food, and the owner are all excellent! I got to try the pide. Absolutely delicious! And the accompanying salad was just as good. The children's pizzas are the perfect size. The prices are very reasonable. In short, a place worth a visit and deserves to be better known. 27/05/2026: If you're planning a party and don't want to cook, call the owner of Le Chat Noir! I ordered crudité platters for appetizers from her; they were beautifully presented, fresh, and very generous! These platters came with ramekins of various dips, all excellent! The quality-price ratio is unbeatable! Don't hesitate, you won't be disappointed!

04/10/2026: My friends and I discovered this restaurant last night. The calzone pizza was excellent, with homemade dough. My friends also had lasagna, which was very good as well. The service was excellent, especially from the young apprentice who was helpful and had a great sense of humor. The restaurant owners have been passionate about food for 27 years. I also think it's important to support our local businesses, which are struggling right now. Don't hesitate to go and eat there, especially if you use the TheFork app.

The crepes are thin and golden, the waffles crispy, the milkshakes delicious and perfectly balanced, and the Italian ice cream ultra-creamy. Everything is delicious and generous. Very affordable prices and very pleasant staff, thank you again for treating us! 😋

20/07/2026: I rarely leave reviews, but the reception we received from the cashier this past Thursday, July 16th, at 7:15 pm justifies this review. We had called before coming to check the latest opening time, and the person we spoke to confirmed that the fish shop was ready to welcome us. Upon our arrival, the three staff members were already tidying up. The cashier's tone of voice, sighs, facial expression, and overall demeanor made her annoyance obvious. We pointed out that we were the ones who had just called. It made no difference. When my brother, who had gone to park the car, joined us, she asked, "Are there still others arriving?" A customer already seated at a table watched the scene, glancing at us several times, his eyes wide, clearly bewildered by what he was witnessing. When it came time to choose our fish, we asked for advice. We weren't given any real advice. When I mentioned that my brother was the one among us who knew and appreciated fish the most, the first question we were asked was, "So, what's your budget?" There were four of us men. None of us had mentioned any price constraints, and the products offered were mostly priced between 10 and 30 euros. We were simply asking for recommendations on fish. We then chose our fish and placed our order, which also included tarama. We asked for bread to go with it. We were initially told that they were out, that the establishment got its bread from the neighboring bakery, which was going to close, and that it would be "complicated." Someone eventually went to get some, and a first basket was brought to us. While we were eating, we saw the employees eating the same bread. When we asked for another basket, we were told that they were out too. If the team no longer wished to receive customers at 7:15 pm, they simply needed to let us know when we called. We would have come another time. Making us travel there, then making us feel from beginning to end that our presence was a nuisance, constitutes a profoundly disrespectful and unacceptable level of service.

19/07/2026: Incredible!!! We came to Viot simply asking for a takeaway platter, hoping to sample a little bit of everything. We didn't give them many details and trusted them to put together the platter. The restaurant's reputation is clearly well-deserved. The prices are higher than elsewhere, but the quality more than justifies them: it truly rivals that of an excellent gourmet restaurant. Each fish had its own unique character: incredible textures, impeccable freshness, no unpleasant odors or aftertastes, only very refined, delicate, and nuanced flavors. You can tell they've put a lot of thought into the selection, cutting, and combination. Every bite was different, and the whole thing was a veritable feast. It's probably one of the best raw fish platters I've ever eaten. An exceptional experience that I recommend without hesitation.

12/07/2026: I ordered a ribeye steak and the meat was spoiled. I pointed it out to the owner, and he told me it was my mouth that was spoiled. I'd like an explanation for the five-minute wait between taking my order and serving my dish! Toni, who claims to be the owner, should really rethink how he speaks to customers; I'm not your friend! But thanks to you, we had a fantastic dinner in a real French restaurant.

10/07/2026: I can sum up this wonderful local neighbourhood Portuguese bistro by referring to the discrete sign behind the bar: E Pluribus Unum. Indeed as an American who moved to France in 1990 I remember this wise maxim from the United States Dollar: We are United in our diversity. And this is exactly why I feel so at home in this bustling vibrant bistro which in fact has become my home away from home. Always packed at lunch time by neighbours and workers from all the diverse communities that makes France such a great place to live. The coffee is the best in the Paris metro area. The food is good although I do not dine frequently there. But in any case it is a joyful place and Tony and his family are wonderful and caring hosts. If you are in the neighbourhood do not miss this festive Portuguese bistro that fully deserves a Top 5 Star rating👍👍👍👍👍👍 just to add that during these hot days profit from their sangria or iced coffee with Bailey’s
