18/04/2026: Hello, I don't usually write this type of review, but I was disappointed with this establishment. I contacted them but received no response, so I wanted to share my experience. First, I want to clarify that this message is intended to be constructive and help improve the experience for future guests. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with our stay, especially compared to the expectations associated with your establishment's 5-star rating. Regarding the overwater bungalow: • The size and layout did not match the photos on Booking and other platforms. We had a bungalow of approximately 20 square meters, without a lounge area, which was less comfortable than we had imagined. • The sloping floor was difficult to live in, and a constant noise, probably from the pump, disturbed our stay despite our complaints. • The finishing touches in the suite were disappointing: damaged and torn curtains, a poorly attached toilet paper holder, no way to play music, a telephone not fixed to the wall, and marks and imperfections on the walls and paint. These details give an overall impression of lower quality than one would expect from a 5-star hotel. Regarding the spa: • Upon arrival, we waited 10 minutes without being greeted. • Bathrobes and towels were neither available nor neatly arranged, which created confusion regarding seating. We therefore shared a lounge chair, and no drinks were offered. • The spa did not match the images: no hammam, only a small sauna, and the showers showed signs of mold. The slippers appeared to be reused, which was neither pleasant nor hygienic. Regarding breakfast: • Arriving at 10:00 AM, several items were missing. For €36, the service seemed somewhat out of step with what is offered on-site. Other points: • I noticed on resale sites that some prices were lower than those offered directly by the hotel, with additional services included. When I mentioned this, the response was that it was due to supply and demand. It remains surprising, especially for 5-star establishments, that third parties can offer a lower price than the hotel. Positive points: • The staff who took us to the boat were very friendly and welcoming. • The sommelier was pleasant and attentive. In summary, our overall experience did not live up to our expectations for a 5-star stay, and I was quite disappointed. However, I hope that this feedback will be taken constructively to improve services and the satisfaction of future guests. 16/05/2026: A superb experience, a light, fairly varied, and above all, homemade menu. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The dishes are excellent, and the prices are reasonable for this type of cuisine. In short, a perfect restaurant, apart from the slightly cramped seats and lack of comfort, but that's a minor point. 12/06/2025: A very warm welcome, the staff is friendly and attentive. The decor is warm and welcoming. A wide selection of beers, wine, whiskey, rum, and rum liqueurs are available. Bottles of beer are deposited (discount on your next purchase if you return them), and cases are also deposited. Keg and beer machine rentals are available for your evenings at home. Two areas: one for shopping and one for tasting. There is also a terrace with tables and chairs. A dartboard is available next to the restrooms. This establishment also offers a variety of evening events throughout the year (including afternoons). Closing at 8:00 PM or 9:00 PM depending on the day of the week. Small bells remind you of your last drink and to stop drinking. I recommend it.

26/01/2025: We had dinner Saturday evening with friends, we were very well received and seated at a very nice round table and comfortable armchair. For my part, I chose leeks as a starter and then a veal rice cooked perfectly with impeccable service. thank you to the management for your warm welcome I will return to the breteuil bistro

15/05/2026: A superb spot in Dieppe where the ingredients are as fresh as the sea spray. Beautifully presented sauces and seasonings. Today, I opted for a seafood cruise: whelk salad, scallops with watercress, and rice pudding. It's seafood, it's delicious, it's Dieppe, it's Le Pollet. We'll be back.

27/02/2026: It was lovely to eat in the sunshine and peace and quiet. We all enjoyed our meals!

27/02/2026: By booking in advance, I was able to try the fondue and raclette, and both were excellent! The cheese wasn't heavy, and the charcuterie was flavorful. The desserts were varied, with many ice cream flavors and a homemade crème brûlée that was definitely worth trying. The staff always made sure you had everything you needed. It's a truly wonderful family-run establishment!

11/12/2025: I celebrated my 60th birthday at this establishment and I couldn't have asked for a better place! Everything was perfect 👍 The location, the setting, the view, the service, the food, and the kindness of the owners. A place I recommend without hesitation ✨️

30/09/2025: We spent three nights at La Corniche. The welcome was warm and the location beautiful. Eating breakfast on the terrace is a real treat for the eyes and the taste buds; everything is perfect. The food is balanced and the ingredients are delicious and well-prepared. The superior room is charming, comfortable, and clean. The only downside is the soundproofing in the bathrooms, which needs to be improved. We recommend La Corniche to enjoy its charm and taste delicious food in a friendly atmosphere.

27/02/2026: Last-minute booking for an unexpected business trip about ten kilometers from the hotel. Very pleasantly surprised! Charming place, lovely room, excellent value for money. The owner is very welcoming, friendly, kind, helpful, and accommodating. And the restaurant: a gem! We ate (and drank) very well. The meal was delicious, from aperitif to dessert, beautifully presented, with very generous portions, all served quickly. I highly recommend it.
