27/03/2026: A very bad experience. The starter was average, but the worst part was I ordered a young rooster and they served me the whole bird on my plate. There were still feathers on its legs, the meat was dry and overcooked, with no sauce or vegetables—inedible. I will never set foot in that restaurant again.

12/06/2026: A beautiful, generous, and well-presented dish. The salmon was perfectly cooked, meltingly tender, and the grilled prawn was wonderfully fresh. The roasted new potatoes were flavorful, and the tapenade added a lovely Mediterranean touch. The whole dish was well-balanced, with the tangy lemon and the smooth, delicate beurre blanc served on the side. A refined and successful dish that I highly recommend. The service was excellent, with a great team both in the kitchen and the dining room.

19/05/2026: Professional and very pleasant welcome, both morning and evening. Clean room with a perfect bathroom. The breakfast was very generous and varied.

18/05/2026: The hotel was clean and accessible, and the room was pleasant. However, the reception staff were unprofessional: no "hello," "thank you for your reservation," or any polite greetings. The upgrade was presented not as a courtesy, but "to make cleaning easier for the housekeeping staff," which came across as clumsy. The pool was open upon request (which was appreciated), but there were no facilities to place belongings, and chiggers were present on the floor. The real weak point: the €16.50 breakfast. The products were clearly not fresh (stale ham, crushed pickles, stale bread served again the next day (photo) and the day after that in the case of the ham). Very worrying! The ham was removed on Tuesday morning at my request. It was impossible to get a soft-boiled egg despite the egg cups on the buffet: "machine broken," and apparently there were no saucepans in the kitchen... but frying pans for fried eggs. Inconsistent. Many areas need improvement to live up to the advertised price and standard. Customer service is our priority, and the absolute priority is respecting basic hygiene rules for the buffet.

10/05/2026: If I could have given it zero stars, I would have. My little sister came in and accidentally bumped into a table. The cashier immediately started yelling at her. The service was nonexistent: she even told us that if we came in, we'd be waiting a long time, only to make it clear that we should leave. A very bad experience.

26/05/2026: My second visit to Villa de L’Étang Blanc, and the experience was even more memorable than the first. Truly Michelin-starred cuisine that, in my opinion, richly deserves a second star. The setting is both sumptuous and enchanting, nestled in a magnificent park by the pond, the place immediately invites you to disconnect and escape. On the plate, everything is remarkable: fresh, perfectly prepared ingredients, refined dishes where aesthetics enhance the flavor. Each creation is a delight for both the eyes and the palate, a true awakening of the senses. A timeless, exceptional experience, driven by the passion and immense talent of Chef David Sulpice, who conveys genuine emotion through his cuisine. The service is impeccable, highly professional, and never stuffy. Every touch is genuine and natural. Special mention must also go to Magali, his wife, whose elegant and warm presence fully contributed to making this an unforgettable experience. The Michelin-starred menu is well worth its price considering the quality and experience offered. An exceptional establishment that I can't wait to return to.

30/04/2026: I wanted to give a gift certificate with two tasting menus plus drinks. The establishment only offers a fixed gift certificate option at €200 and was unable to fulfill my simple request. I am very disappointed...

03/06/2026: Excellent experience. The meal was very good, well-presented, and of high quality. Plenty of choice. Reasonable prices. The waiters and waitresses were very friendly and smiling. I highly recommend this restaurant.

01/06/2026: I came to eat here with my husband, and everything was delicious! The dessert (profiteroles) is particularly generous; it's definitely meant to be shared between two people. The square is lovely, and the terrace is pleasant.

29/05/2026: We received a warm welcome, but I'm sorry to say the food was really mediocre. The meat was undercooked and tasteless. A small slice of tomato with a lettuce leaf, a tiny handful of fries, and not even cooked enough. Furthermore, we ate on the terrace and were surrounded by smoke throughout the entire meal. I do not recommend it.
