18/05/2026: A truly lovely hotel, ideally located between the charming old town of Troyes and the region's lakes. The rooms are very comfortable and the staff are friendly. A full breakfast is included. The restaurant is also a very pleasant surprise: a deliberately concise menu featuring regional specialties, offering something for everyone, refined cuisine, delicious desserts, and very reasonable prices. Special mention goes to the managers who were incredibly accommodating and kind: we had car trouble on a Sunday, and despite a busy day for them due to the village market, they arranged for us to stay an extra night and have dinner at the hotel.

14/08/2025: A very pretty setting and very professional welcome and service, with perfect timing between courses. However, we were disappointed by the dishes, a little bland and nothing special or particularly well presented. We didn't understand the idea of the unpeeled carrot, just steamed, across the plate; a bit surprising, but not in a good way. The ice creams that accompany the desserts are very good, but swallowed in two spoonfuls because they're a small dumpling of ice cream. As for the starter, which included a "perfect egg," we had it on one plate but not on the other. We called the waitress for it, who pointed out a small speck of yolk, which was therefore "the perfect egg," but you had to wear your glasses! So for the 27 euro menu, the experience wasn't great, but I suppose it's better à la carte...or if I had known, I would have taken the 37 euro menu, which I therefore recommend.

26/03/2026: The service needs improvement, the staff is unpleasant. I go every Thursday at lunchtime for the burger deal. I went on March 26th to ask for cutlery from a young mixed-race woman who couldn't smile or even say hello or goodbye. I will never set foot in there again because of her. I am a shopkeeper myself in the Bécon district, and I am surprised by their lack of professionalism. She should find another line of work.

11/04/2026: Disappointing. We had booked two places. There was a long wait throughout the entire meal. The couscous was mediocre; admittedly, it was nicely presented, but there was very little semolina hidden under the vegetables, making it too mushy. €23.90 without an appetizer. One glass of wine. The dessert was good, but overall, I was disappointed. We won't be back.

The white sauce is homemade, unlike many other taco or kebab places. The fries are good and the sauces are free! What more can I say? Go for it!

25/05/2026: I was rather disappointed by the quality of this XXL-sized pastry, especially considering its price. The pastry cream didn't live up to the establishment's reputation. At this price, the experience should be impeccable, and that wasn't really the case.

23/05/2026: We discovered it by chance at breakfast and we gladly returned... everything was delicious, from the pain au chocolat to the croissant... to the bisou, the sweet Vence cake... Everything was good and the ladies were very kind and truly friendly.

25/04/2026: Not great. We tried it on the last day the restaurant was open. It was supposed to be a set menu for €22, including grilled meat (either chicken or sausage), fries or gratin, salad, and dessert. We sat down, but there was no more chicken, so we got two sausages, a handful of fries, and some salad. And when it came time for dessert, there was nothing left—no dessert, nothing to replace it, not a free drink, not a discount on the bill. €22 is a lot for two chipolatas and a handful of fries!

25/03/2026: Since its expansion, this restaurant has unfortunately lost its friendly atmosphere, which is a real shame. It's best enjoyed on a sunny day, as you're likely to get very cold when it's cooler.

The dishes are delicious, beautifully presented, and prepared with high-quality ingredients. Special mention for the cocktails, which are truly excellent. A perfect place to spend a lovely evening with friends or family. I highly recommend it! ☺️
