26/08/2026: It's an iconic spot in the valley. We've been going there every year for over 20 years, and the garbure (cabbage and bean soup) is always exceptional 😋, and the owners are wonderful. Can't wait for next year!

26/08/2026: The drinks are overpriced, but this is offset by the inexpensive and very generous portions of food. The salads are very substantial for unbeatable prices. Go there to eat!

29/08/2026: The best steakhouse in La Rochelle! Connoisseurs will appreciate the aged ribeye, the Black Angus hanger steak, and the steak tartare, available in portions from 250g to 450g depending on your appetite! The wine list is excellent, with a wide selection to complement the meat. Some weeks, sweetbreads are featured as the daily special with homemade mashed potatoes: a delight! And on some Friday evenings, there's grilled lobster: a must-try! Regulars always return and quickly become loyal customers.

05/08/2026: A very bad experience. We arrived in the afternoon, when there were few diners and the place was nearly empty. Despite this, the person in charge was hostile. It took a long time for them to take our order and even longer to serve us; we waited about 35 minutes for our food, whereas other customers—who were French—were served in about 15 minutes, even those who had arrived after us. There are busier places nearby where we received faster service and better treatment.

05/09/2026: Very disappointed by this experience. The welcome was lukewarm, and the person who greeted us seemed overwhelmed and rather inattentive to the quality of the service. As for the food, the various side dishes were rather dry and uninteresting. Regarding the meats, which are supposed to be central to the concept, we found them very ordinary, lacking any real quality, and some were even downright bad. The value for money is therefore very disappointing. The prices are high considering the quality of the food, the portion sizes, and the level of service. At this price, we think it's better to choose a good restaurant, enjoy a proper meal, and have a pleasant experience. Unfortunately, an experience far below our expectations.

10/09/2026: This restaurant was recommended to us 14 years ago and, three visits to Paris later, we finally made it to eat here. We were not disappointed with this local, traditional French restaurant, even our Parisian friend enjoyed it! Serving sizes were smaller which meant we could enjoy three courses without feeling overfed!

08/09/2026: A cozy, homey bistro. The prices are reasonable, the food is delicious, and it's the kind of place you'll want to return to. The beet vichyssoise, in particular, was so delicious I'll never forget it. I was truly impressed.

08/06/2026: The positive: The food is excellent. No complaints about the quality of the dishes on the plate; they were truly delicious. It's a shame the overall experience was spoiled by the bizarre and disrespectful service. The negative: Service that reached the height of contempt. From the moment we arrived, we were looked down our noses at with blatant disdain by a man sitting on the terrace, who greeted us in a very haughty manner. Thinking he worked there, we asked him if we could still get a table (it was 8:15 pm). The man got up, went into the restaurant to ask the waiter... only for us to finally understand that he didn't even work there, but was just a friend of the waiter! The waiter then took over, equally disdainful, offering us a rather unfriendly "Okay, fine" as we were seated. The rest of the experience was a series of uncomfortable moments: The snobbish ordering: In addition to our main courses, we ordered two cocktails. When asked what we wanted to drink with our meal, we politely replied that the two cocktails (at €15 each, mind you) would suffice for now. The waiter's response, with a condescending look: "Ah, so a carafe of water..." A deplorable sense of customer service and hospitality. The "party with friends" atmosphere: While we were having drinks on the terrace, the staff seemed to have mistaken their workplace for a private club. Between the waiter's friends kissing, smooching, and touching each other in front of the other customers, and one of the waiter's so-called buddies calmly rolling a joint in full view of everyone on the terrace... we wondered where the professionalism had gone. We would, however, like to thank the young waitress who, unlike us, was pleasant and professional.

23/09/2026: Why don't you put sliced ​​olives in the kebab anymore? I used to go to your place back when it was in the old Triangle location, and frankly, you were the best in Pau, and the prices were reasonable. The new location is good, but nothing special, and €8.50 for a single wrap sandwich is expensive... I'm still giving it 4 stars, though, in memory of the old place.

15/09/2026: We were lucky enough to eat at this crêperie in August: a very warm welcome, crêpes that would make the Bretons envious (yes, they admit it themselves!), and local produce (it's the first time we've seen a list of their suppliers in a restaurant – what a wonderful recognition of their work! And there's nothing like it to guarantee they're using quality ingredients!). The couple is as welcoming as they are passionate about what they do, and they even take the time to explain their methods and give you tips on places to visit! In short, we had a fantastic time! You can go there without hesitation and trust your taste buds completely – they won't be disappointed! Since they know each other and aren't in competition (as they're not in the same line of work), I'd like to take this opportunity to mention the owners of the charming gîte where we stayed: the Daniel Leclerc family in Polisot: a wonderful welcome and a charming gîte! Florence, Laurent and their children.

25/08/2026: An excellent experience in every way. The crepes are delicious, both sweet and savory. Their authentic flavor transports you to Brittany. The place is very welcoming, and the service is incredibly fast and friendly. We had eaten in just 30 minutes, something I greatly appreciate when sightseeing.

21/09/2026: I strongly advise against this fast food place because everything is awful, from the welcome to the table service, and finally the food is far too greasy and unappetizing. So, thanks for the sake of our livers and arteries, LOL. In short, the terrace is quite a letdown, surrounded by trash (all kinds of cans thrown on the ground, glass bottles of every style, all kinds of packaging, etc.). The noise level is very difficult to bear, so it ruins a family outing, especially when life is expensive and you feel like crying. If you happen to stumble upon "this" during an outing, I can promise you the bill is bitter, almost like food poisoning. Ultimately, everyone has their own tastes, but don't waste your time with such a questionable clientele... It's downright creepy. * Keep walking, you won't regret it.*
