27/05/2026: A new product was kindly offered for tasting. The CBO curry was excellent, and the dragon fruit drink was good too (although I'll stick with Coke 😊). Thank you to the lovely ladies.

25/05/2026: Fast food is good in terms of space and time.

16/09/2026: Arrived around noon for lunch. We sat on the terrace, outside where there are cushions, and ordered three set menus. We immediately noticed that the large cushions we sat on were frankly very dirty. The set menu wasn't very expensive (€14.50), and included: - A small plate of country ham - Mussels, confit, or fish and chips - A scoop of ice cream The starter arrived after 30 minutes, which was fine, as the setting was pleasant. The plate with the two thin slices of ham was devoured in barely 10 minutes. We had chosen the mussels, which weren't moules marinières but rather mussels with maître d'hôtel butter—very greasy, and with garlic everywhere. Two of the three plates of mussels were cold. We had been sitting for an hour and a half when the mussels arrived, so we weren't fussy; we were hungry. We politely mentioned it to the waiter, who responded rather curtly. For dessert, we had a choice between one scoop of vanilla ice cream or one scoop of vanilla ice cream. In short, if you don't like vanilla, don't order the daily special. I should point out that the flavor wasn't listed on the daily menu. When it came time to pay, a small queue at the register made me realize that the manager (I assume this person manages the restaurant since I didn't see her working) was criticizing customers, with other customers as witnesses. I went to the register and paid, which is the main thing, because at no point was I asked if my meal was good or if everything was alright. We came once because the setting is nice, but we won't be back. I should mention that we eat out regularly, and we're not fussy customers; we just wanted a normal, quick meal. We left after our ice cream, it was around 2:30 pm... Anyway

15/09/2026: Several dishes are offered on the menu, including mussels with parsley, Roquefort cheese, and red curry. The coffee, however, doesn't taste very good, but it might suit some people 🤷🏻‍♀️

23/09/2026: A very good pizzeria in the center of Saint-Avertin. The pizzas are good and the owner is pleasant.

26/08/2026: A true institution in the Gare de Lyon district, this typical brasserie specializes in fish dishes. Everything is very fresh, the service is incredibly attentive and friendly—it's a real pleasure! It's a bit pricey, but it's fresh, well-prepared, and, above all, right across from the train station, so... Regarding the chocolate mousse, I agree with a previous review; it's not very good because it's made with milk chocolate, unfortunately 🥲

15/09/2026: A magnificent hotel and restaurant, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and they truly take excellent care of their guests. The room was beautiful, the bathroom spotless, and the bed comfortable. The restaurant boasts a varied menu featuring excellent local specialties, very good craft beer, and beautifully presented and expertly prepared dishes. The service was impeccable! You immediately sense the professionalism and kindness of the waitress! A wonderful discovery, keep up the good work!

06/09/2026: I've never had such a bad meal in a restaurant. I ordered stir-fried noodles, which smelled burnt because they must have stuck to the bottom of the pot, and the five-spice duck was incredibly dry, like shoe leather! When I mentioned my complaints, I received no apology whatsoever! On the contrary, I was told that duck meat cooked on the hot plate should be eaten dry! The culinary standards were appalling!

26/07/2026: We've been going there for over 10 years: never disappointed! On the contrary! We adore their shaded terrace (but in winter, the interior is also very pleasant). Their cuisine is wonderful; a guaranteed culinary journey; my taste buds always thank me for going! The service is ideal: attentive and discreet. The atmosphere lives up to everything else. A huge THANK YOU again to the team at Les Cèdres for the delightful evening we spent there! Oh, and don't forget to book!

27/08/2026: Great atmosphere. The owner also manages the quad biking and pony rides. The pastries are to die for, and the homemade lemonade is perfect after a hike. They have more "exotic" syrups than the traditional mint/grenadine/lemon. Note: if you're afraid of dogs, there are several. They're all calm, not aggressive or intrusive, and very well-behaved. My two youngest children are usually afraid of dogs, but they petted them without any problem or apprehension.

06/09/2026: I ate at a dessert shop in Paris a long time ago. It was truly amazing. I've been to Paris so many times and visited so many European countries, but this dessert was absolutely exquisite, a classic masterpiece.

25/08/2026: An exceptional address in the neighborhood. I've been coming here very regularly for the past two months, and the quality is remarkably consistent, with a consistently warm and welcoming atmosphere. The pastries are, in my opinion, the best in the area: beautiful, but above all, perfectly executed, with light, crisp, and precise layers. The same high level of quality is found in the other pastries, with great finesse and perfectly balanced flavors. True mastery, without any pretense. And a real treat to have a place of this caliber in the 6th arrondissement.
