18/05/2026: An absolutely exceptional stay at Hôtel du Castellet! A true gem in the Var region: the place is magnificent, calm, refined, and incredibly pleasant. Everything was perfect from beginning to end. We had a wonderful time in a superb and relaxing setting. The food is simply incredible, a real treat from start to finish, with refined dishes and impeccable service. Every moment makes you want to return, and we will. From the warm welcome and the beauty of the place to the quality of the service and the overall atmosphere, everything was perfect. In short, nothing but positive things to say. I can confirm that we had a memorable experience that I wholeheartedly recommend!

23/09/2026: A wonderful experience at Les Deux Gourmands! The welcome was warm and the staff attentive from beginning to end. The meals were excellent, beautifully presented, and prepared with high-quality ingredients. Everything was perfect: the service, the atmosphere, and the food. You can feel a genuine passion for cooking and for the well-being of their customers. We had a fantastic time and will gladly return. I highly recommend this restaurant! 😊 A place to discover without hesitation.

19/08/2026: Very good pizzas with generous toppings. However, the wait was very long for August 15th; you had to be patient. More than 10 phone calls (all ringing unanswered) before they finally deigned to pick up, and over an hour's wait. But August 15th in Royan is something else!

06/08/2026: Excellent pizzas. And the desserts are also very good. We go there every summer during our stay in Royan.

21/08/2026: I never go to bars or restaurants near train stations; they're rarely good, but the heavy rain left us no choice! And what a wonderful discovery! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a beautiful song performed by the owner's friends! We ate very well! The gazpacho was almost a main course, not just a starter! The baby squid was delicious, and the portions were generous! We had a lovely time before catching our train! Thank you!

16/08/2026: The two people at the bar were unpleasant. I politely asked them to refill my water bottle, in 30-degree heat, adding that it wasn't a problem if it bothered them. In short, if it's very hot and you need water in a pinch, be aware that they'll leave you to dry out on the side of the road. Just so you know (they did at least fill a small portion of my bottle).

28/08/2026: Great product, the flavors are spot on. It's best to order in advance. The wheat crêpes are quite different from what we're used to. We're from the Ille-et-Vilaine department (35), but it was a wonderful discovery. As for the service, the staff is very friendly despite being very busy. We'll definitely be back.

31/08/2026: The "gourmet platter" is very poor for the price; only the Basque pâté is truly good. The price of the wine glasses is outrageous (€5), far too expensive. The service and waiters are friendly.

09/09/2026: The food was excellent and the setting pleasant… it's a shame the service spoiled the experience. We had reserved a table for five and received a particularly frosty welcome, simply because we had forgotten to mention that a baby would be present in a stroller. This oversight seemed to be a real tragedy for the waitress. We have rarely been so poorly received in a restaurant. Between the remarks and the clearly annoyed attitude, we almost felt like we were bothering them. It's a real shame, because the food was excellent and the setting is lovely. But in a restaurant, a warm welcome and a smile are also part of the experience…

18/09/2026: Nice place, but the service is lacking, and just because it's fast food doesn't mean the customers are garbage! Orders are faulty half the time; it's incomprehensible how incompetent they can be!

15/09/2026: The opening hours are different from the online listings; in reality, it closes at midnight, not 2 AM in the theater. Too bad.

12/09/2026: Monique welcomes you like family. Her team reflects her personality. The chef elevates local produce to new heights on your plate. The veal escalope with scallops is divine, as are the savory buckwheat crepes. A delightful and convivial experience is guaranteed. I highly recommend it.
