01/10/2026: We ordered pizzas to take away; we had to wait 10 minutes when we arrived, but from what little time we saw, the atmosphere was warm and the staff were very friendly and attentive. As for the pizzas, we weren't disappointed at all! The crust was excellent, generously topped, and a very large size 🍕. A large one is more than enough for two.

01/10/2026: Fantastic pizza in La Londe!! 👍👍 A truly great place just steps from the port. A very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The wood-fired pizzas are delicious; we loved the tomato, anchovy, and basil pizza so much we ordered it twice!! They also have great daily specials and suggestions, like the linguine with prawns flambéed in pastis – excellent! Or the fisherman's stew, and other daily specials. Well done and thank you for a wonderful time with you, and we hope to see you again soon!!

16/07/2026: A wonderful experience for my business lunch. My companions and I appreciated the warm welcome, the setting, and the delicious food. I had the melon rosette and chicken supreme. It was delightful. It's rare to have lunch on a quiet, shaded terrace, and the fans were very welcome during this heatwave. I will definitely return.

11/07/2026: Extremely well-located, sunny in winter and the shoulder seasons, then cool and shady in summer, with top-notch service. Last night I had monkfish tail ❤️ simply magnificent, cooked to perfection. The presentation was worthy of a fine dining establishment, and the vegetables were meticulously prepared, so delicious that even the most carnivorous would forget their steak 🥩 Oh yes, I almost forgot the incredible and unexpected amuse-bouche from the chef... He's not a Master Restaurateur for nothing 😁 Thank you for the warm welcome and the experience. I also discovered a magnificent Corsican red wine. In short, everything is delicious ❤️

09/06/2026: Impeccable service and friendly staff. The dishes are generous and delicious. We were given a doggy bag to take home the leftovers. However, there is no longer a set menu, only à la carte options. That's a shame. We had booked a table, and there was a bit of noise due to roadworks nearby, but the terrace is beautiful and allows you to eat in the shade of the plane trees.

27/09/2026: We discovered this inn during our walk to the Hohwald waterfall. What a pleasant surprise! A warm welcome, a friendly, family atmosphere, excellent food, and very reasonable prices. The staff came by several times to check if everything was alright, always with a smile. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and were so glad we found this restaurant. Thank you.

23/08/2026: I'm not one to complain, and although this review is negative, I'll express myself as politely as possible; I feel it's important to mention it so the owners can make improvements. The atmosphere was nonexistent; I would have been more entertained watching paint dry. The service was not up to what one expects from a restaurant—unless you expect to see the staff playing on their phones in a corner of the austere, undecorated dining room, supposedly reflecting Indian or Pakistani culture. The portions were minuscule: barely enough to feed a mouse, let alone a human being. As for the taste, it was sorely lacking in flavor; perhaps I'm simply used to better curries and a more varied menu. We had our dessert elsewhere, and I can assure you we won't be returning or recommending this establishment. To say the prices were excessive for the quality would be an understatement. Perhaps they should pay people to eat their food, since that's probably what they did to get more than two stars. Or maybe it's the work of AI, the very same one that was busy on its phone in the corner of the room.

21/08/2026: We discovered this restaurant at the foot of the slopes, which is open year-round. The welcome was fantastic, friendly, and pleasant. The food was simple, good, and plentiful. It's ideal for families because there's also a play area for children! We'll gladly return; I highly recommend it.

14/08/2026: We had not just a good time, but a truly excellent time. The daily special was superb, the steak tartare was to die for, and the fries and homemade mayo were delicious. The owners are incredibly welcoming, and the atmosphere is exactly what you'd expect from the North of France. Simple, friendly, this brasserie is a real gem! 22/03/2026: Honestly, out of season, we were delighted to find a restaurant. It's expensive for a crepe, but oh well, the service was friendly nonetheless. Out of season, it's worth it!

If their supposed professionalism is anything like their service, I'll let you be the judge of the food.

27/10/2025: Unacceptable! They stop taking customers at 1:30 PM; it's the first time I've been refused lunch at a Buffalo Grill at this hour. A disgrace for a restaurant.

16/03/2026: We came this weekend with our 3-year-old son. It was excellent! We had the truffle fondue... It was simply incredible! The two waitresses were amazing, incredibly kind, especially with children. Thank you! 😘

08/09/2026: Everything is perfect: the cuisine is intelligent, daring, gourmet, well-executed, with perfectly portioned dishes, etc., etc. It's true bistronomy, unlike all the others that call themselves that when they're actually rubbish (including in Saint-Jean-de-Luz). The service is impeccable. The head waitress manages everything with a master's touch, the sommelier ensures excellent service and finds the perfect little gem (he doesn't show off with his €200 bottles, but he does have them, and the wine list is as thick as a dictionary 😍). And even the young guy who looks like a geek, needing money to buy the new PS5 controller, well, he's efficient, smiling, and describes the restaurant menu with passion 🤘 All this in a traditional Lyonnais bistro atmosphere which, personally, prepares my soul and body to receive the food as it deserves 🤪 Anyway, thank you, and see you soon 😘

25/08/2026: We went there one evening, not realizing it's better to reserve a table beforehand xD But the staff were lovely and managed to find us a table for two anyway. The only slight downside is that the tables for two are really narrow, making it very difficult to eat/drink while playing... (even when choosing simpler games). It was also a bit frustrating because we had asked for a larger table that was free at the time (and without a reservation), but we were told it was reserved for a larger group, and in the end, they let a couple sit there... who were just eating, while we were there to play games too. I was a little annoyed, but oh well, that's how it goes! Otherwise, I like the concept of a board game bar; the platters were really good, and the drinks too! However, we waited over an hour for our mussels and fries, and we were about to leave when they finally arrived. And although we thought they were good, we were a little sick that night and the next day :( (we unfortunately have no idea what caused it). I also really enjoyed the little riddles to solve! Overall, it was a positive experience, very friendly staff, good food, you just have to be patient when ordering and also book in advance xD
