29/08/2026: Too expensive for what's offered. The rice isn't very good, the tuna isn't high quality, and all the meats have an aftertaste. Furthermore, there's very little choice on the all-you-can-eat buffet, and for €26, I find that disappointing. It's a shame, because the staff are very friendly and professional.

19/08/2026: The atmosphere is very friendly, there's a lot of good stuff, including draft and house beers, burgers, hot dogs, and amazing fries, and the chicken wings are exceptional too. The service is impeccable, they're very friendly. I hope to come back soon, looking forward to seeing you again very soon.

19/09/2026: What a wonderful restaurant. Set in a central square in the Bastide of Carcassonne, with both interior and exterior seating available. Wide ranging menu with vegetarian choices available, and knowledgeable waiting staff to guide. A very good wine list on hand with options to suit all tastes and wallets. The food was fresh, well prepared, and well presented,with generous portion sizes. Side dishes were also available. The staff were attentive, and helpful, but not overbearing (which is a plus). There when needed, and invisible when not. Most spoke a good level of English alongside other languages. They showed a good knowledge of the menu and a strong desire to help customers make good choices. The restaurant was busy all night attracting passing trade in the square and clearly popular with locals as well as tourists. Sitting outside on a warm September evening, had the benefit of people watching in a lively location. Definitely one to visit if on a day trip, or to frequent often if in Carcassonne for longer.

09/08/2026: The meal offers exceptional value for money. The chef clearly loves his work. Everything is homemade, and the tastes and flavors are evident throughout, right down to the croutons on the gazpacho.

14/07/2026: A lovely time spent with friends at the restaurant's terrace, in a peaceful setting shaded by trees. Excellent home-style cooking, exceptionally attentive service, and very good value for money. The restaurant is very well-run. We'll definitely be back! No opinion on the rooms, as we only had lunch there.

29/08/2026: Everything was excellent, the service was great, the place was very comfortable, and the music was catchy and pleasant. I had the vegetarian option, which was excellent, and my parents had the festive option and they loved it! I highly recommend it.

20/08/2026: Delicious honest food, by host who knows how to serve the whole restaurant and still make you feel totally taken care of. We would 10/10 recommend for a chill atmosphere while joining a variety of tasteful mezze. At the end of the night some people asked to sit outside while the terrace was already full. The patron didn’t hesitate to bring one of his inside tables outside.

21/05/2026: A wonderful discovery! The oysters were a delight, bursting with ocean freshness. The mussels en papillote made us want to come back... The place is simple and friendly, the kind of place we'd love to find instead of fast food... We wish them a great season; they deserve it, and this place is well worth the detour.

14/09/2026: A nice restaurant, well located in the neighborhood. The terrace is away from the cars, which we appreciated, especially with the children. Ideal for lunch at the end of summer or for a well-deserved coffee break!

17/08/2026: A promising start: the waitress was pleasant and polite. Our order was taken quickly. However, three minutes after we'd had our aperitifs, the main courses arrived… The mussels Provençal were extremely salty, with broken shells and dirty mussels. No more sea bream, so we had sea bass instead, which was okay but overcooked. Not a single waitress was present during our meal. We made a comment when the dishes were being served, but received no response, just like at the till. And then, we had to wait 20 minutes for dessert; it would have been better to have it during our aperitifs. If you want to eat with a sea view, it's nice, but otherwise, avoid it.

28/07/2026: Such a beautiful stay. The park is incredible and breathtaking. Lots of benches to sit and relax and the owners are very kind and helpful.

27/07/2026: A wonderful reunion dinner with my Breton friends who adore the château and the quality of service, as well as the kindness of the Thouvenin family. They were dedicated to creating an unforgettable experience for us, not forgetting the sommelier, Emmanuel, who seems to be part of the furniture with his famous cheese trolley, and the chef, Mr. Thouvenin, who is always striving to surprise us.
