21/05/2026: An institution we are always happy to visit

05/04/2026: Once seated, barely two minutes later, the waitress arrived and mumbled, "What would you like?" A lamb skewer couscous. On the plus side, the meat was good. However, the vegetables and sauce were tasteless (I wonder how they manage to make such a bland dish). The semolina was quickly cooked and indigestible. For the first time in my life, I didn't finish my plate.

09/04/2026: A very warm welcome, excellent and high-quality pizzas.

07/04/2026: The staff were very welcoming and pleasant. The pizzas were generously topped, the crust was thin and delicious. Original pizza choices! In short, a real treat!

06/05/2026: A little while ago, my family and I went there, but the overall result was mediocre! The food was barely defrosted, of poor quality, and very badly cooked! We were disappointed.

22/04/2026: A very warm welcome, a lovely view of the harbor, and excellent home cooking from appetizer to dessert, served efficiently. Everything was delicious. Don't change a thing!

28/10/2025: A great place to stay in the heart of Lisieux. The family room is spacious and quiet. We loved the breakfast, especially the homemade madeleines. The jams are also excellent!

27/10/2025: We stayed at this hotel for one night. After having problems with our first room due to the noise from the kitchen ventilation system, we were moved to another room. The rooms are fine, but nothing extraordinary. The toilet seat was broken, the pipes seemed half-clogged, and when we came in, a damp smell hit our noses. Apart from that: clean room, comfortable bed. Breakfast was okay. Good for a stopover hotel.

20/05/2026: The hotel was clean with friendly and welcoming staff. However, I was quite disappointed by the room in the basement, with corridors that felt more like a service area than a hotel. The bedding was also very uncomfortable, and I woke up with severe back pain. The soundproofing was also poor: you could hear a lot of foot traffic in the corridors, suitcases being moved, and doors slamming.

11/04/2026: We received a very warm welcome and were treated like royalty. The rooms are excellent, clean, and spacious. We are delighted.

27/06/2025: Very disappointed with the coffee...Not cheap and the preservation left something to be desired, the beans were completely oxidized.

24/06/2025: The tiramisus, the Black Forest slices, the truffle... the multigrain baguettes, the Super Good chocolate bread... it's a shame we couldn't taste everything because the window display is very very beautiful and the products we ate were amazing. Thank you :-)

18/05/2026: Small Italian restaurant with a super friendly owner. Wood-fired oven inside. Everything was perfect!

16/03/2026: Friendly service and lovely pizza - I got a takeaway.

25/03/2026: I went home to have a coffee with my wife, but the owner stayed in his corner; there was nobody there except us. Luckily the TV was on, the atmosphere was really gloomy.

07/05/2026: Friendly welcome, delicious food 😋 and generous portions, beautiful presentation – a place where my friend and I had a wonderful time. We'll definitely be back!

06/11/2025: A lovely discovery this lunchtime on Rue de Tocqueville in the 17th arrondissement, less than 5 minutes from the office, thanks to a colleague during a business trip to Paris! A tiny Italian takeaway shop, absolutely fantastic, run by a very friendly Italian couple. I would describe this place as a "pasta bar," offering a variety of pasta dishes, each more tempting than the last. The service was excellent, with quick, warm, and smiling service despite the crowds. The portions are generous, and the pasta is more than excellent! Very good value for money in the 17th arrondissement. I will definitely return on my next trip to the 17th, if only to discover/try a new pasta dish, because I thoroughly enjoyed my choice of the day... despite my current lack of appetite... but I ate it all without even realizing it, and my stomach was more than satisfied and... is still asking for more, lol!

12/04/2026: If you're looking for the best croissants in the world, you'll find them at "Au Cœur de la Mie". For years, we've spent our annual holiday in Recloses and always look forward to enjoying their delicious, handmade, and oven-fresh croissants and baguettes. The warm atmosphere and attentive service invite you to linger. We're already looking forward to our visit next year!
