27/09/2026: Food poisoning after a family visit on Saturday, September 26th. I ordered the sashimi set menu with salmon, tuna, sea bream, octopus, etc.: I'm sure some of the fish was frozen! The octopus, without a doubt: it was awful. I'd like to try and find some positives, but I think my health condition speaks for itself. I eat sushi very often and have never had a problem before. Overall, the quality is poor and the prices are high. Avoid this place; there are plenty of good restaurants to avoid.

16/09/2026: This was our second time ordering online, and it was delicious! We'd been trying out different Japanese restaurants in Metz for months without finding the right one (we'd almost given up), before finally ordering from Ayako Actisud after a family meal at Muse for one last try, which turned out to be a great experience. We've found our go-to spot ;)

23/08/2026: Delicious brunch on Sunday in the beautiful garden. Very friendly staff, it was perfect.

21/08/2026: The location is beautiful. Two boys served us. One was on his phone a lot, the other spoke no French, didn't know the menu, and reeked of sweat. The food was downright bad. The "amuse-bouche" consisted of edamame beans with spring onions, without herbs or dressing. The main course, Thali (vegetarian), consisted of those same edamame beans, half a courgette, a bread roll, half a mozzarella (without seasonings other than thyme), and there was a small bowl of cold contents that tasted and had the same consistency as custard. When we asked what it was, we were told it was the chef's secret and that I had to guess what it was. After insisting, they said it was coconut-carrot soup. The other main course, magret de canard, was a good piece of meat, but again, it was not seasoned and the potatoes were just undercooked. This review is not to complain, but to warn others and to wake up the owner (and/or staff). Incidentally, I am surprised by the many very positive reviews, which are very generic and strike me as untruthful.

08/10/2026: The first thing you've got to talk about with La Guingette Du Vieux Moulin is the incredible view -- maybe the most breathtaking view of any restaurant in Avignon/Villeneuve. Villeneuve is extremely easy to reach from Avignon -- an under ten minute bus excursion. And Villeneuve is the pretty, bourgeois brother to the more hectic Avignon. Take someone you love for a lunch or dinner and have that ring ready to pop the question! It's the perfect place for a romantic date!

15/09/2026: We had suckling pig cooked over a wood fire. On the plate, there were only bones and very little, rather tough meat.

22/09/2026: Excellent Brazilian restaurant with live entertainment where you can enjoy unlimited meat and fish served on a skewer, just like in Brazil. Great atmosphere and excellent service. I've had the pleasure of going several times and I've never been disappointed.

03/09/2026: A truly excellent restaurant, I highly recommend it. The chef is passionate about his exceptional grilled meats, nothing to complain about. My only slight reservation concerns the price of the dessert, which I felt wasn't justified, but otherwise, the meal was perfect.

21/09/2026: Nice restaurant. Four different dishes, three of which were very enjoyable (mixed platter, fish and chips, steak Cherbourg-style) and one that was just okay (fondue). I'm deducting one star for the dessert (praline rolls), which could have been better if the choux pastry had been fresh and not defrosted (as a result, instead of being crisp, it was soggy).

19/07/2026: Passing through the area, we had lunch here today. A very pleasant surprise from start to finish. Impeccable service. And refined, fresh, and high-quality cuisine. I highly recommend it.

16/06/2026: What a lovely, very personalized welcome! The staff were incredibly kind and adapted my meals as I was recovering from an illness. The location was perfect, parking was easy, and the room was very comfortable. I highly recommend it.

05/09/2026: We had dinner here using a Wonderbox experience, and we absolutely loved everything. From the moment we arrived, we felt very welcome. The waiter was incredibly attentive, friendly and kind throughout the evening, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The restaurant itself was clean, cosy and peaceful, with a lovely atmosphere that made it a really pleasant place to spend the evening. The food was absolutely delicious, and the wine was excellent as well. Everything was very enjoyable from start to finish. We had a wonderful evening and would definitely come back. Highly recommended! ⭐
