09/05/2026: It's a shame; the mayor of Provins had recommended this place to us. It would be good if the opening hours were changed. It says the restaurant is open until 1 a.m. As the author, I was coming from a book signing in Provins, and I arrived with a friend at 9:30 p.m. on a Saturday night, and they were no longer serving. Or rather, they refused to serve us.

02/06/2026: Typical McDonald's meal, but the service was incredibly slow at 4 PM. I spent 20 minutes at the drive-thru with no response, then another 40 minutes waiting for my order in the dining area because the drive-thru wait was too long. Inside, there were kids burping, shouting, making farting noises, and criticizing other customers by talking loudly.

The staff gave excellent recommendations and made the whole evening feel relaxed and personal. The food was delicious and thoughtfully prepared, with classic French influences and high-quality ingredients shining through in every bite. Paired with an impressive and well-curated wine selection, each dish felt elevated yet approachable. What really stood out was the ambiance and authenticity—it feels like a hidden gem where locals gather to enjoy great food and wine without any pretension. I would highly recommend Le Gavroche Bar à Vins to anyone looking for a memorable and genuinely Parisian dining experience.

17/03/2026: The welcome was rather cold, even though we were the first to be served. They made a mistake with the dish (which is quite something considering they only had one table to serve), clearly showing a lack of enthusiasm. There was no choice of wine by the glass; they immediately recommended the already opened bottle. The portions (main course and dessert) were small, and the prices were outrageous (€20 for the main course, €9 for dessert, €7 for a glass of wine). Finally, they cut us three slices of bread and never offered us a second helping. Avoid this place!

17/05/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ A very enjoyable time spent at La Rotonde. The setting is truly pleasant, with a lovely atmosphere and an ideal location in the city center. The service is generally efficient and well-organized, the dishes arrive promptly, and the quality is excellent. A minor drawback, however, was the welcome; a lack of smiles and warmth from the staff contrasted somewhat with the rest of the experience. But this didn't spoil the meal, which remained very good and enjoyable. A good address in Aix-en-Provence, especially for enjoying the ambiance and solid service.

05/05/2026: Since I was in the city center, I wanted to try this snack bar thinking it would be good given the storefront and prices, but I do not recommend it. Their meat is rotten even after the order is placed; the appearance immediately shows that it's not good (even though the employee said it was very good). The result was severe stomach pain and diarrhea. It's better to spend a few extra euros and be safe.

13/05/2026: The products were high quality and the waitress was friendly, however the other person wasn't very welcoming. We would have preferred the oysters to be on ice rather than directly on the plate, for hygiene reasons. Otherwise, it was good and the panoramic view was lovely.

17/04/2026: Magnificent view of the Thau Lagoon, friendly staff, and delicious seafood! We also tried the oysters and the gratinated mussels: a delight. The mussels marinière with their garrigue flavors were equally excellent. In short, flawless. Even the bread was good.
