12/03/2026: A chance discovery on our holiday road trip, we stumbled upon this place and I highly recommend it! 😍 It has a wonderful energy, a cozy atmosphere, and Nathanaëlle was so courteous and welcoming – thank you! 19/02/2026: What a pleasure to return to this charming, vintage little brasserie on Wednesday, February 18th! It's perfectly preserved, with its bistro tables and zinc bar, complete with boxing gloves hanging next to the bottles of aperitifs and the article about this establishment that appeared in Var Matin (formerly La République du Var - La Provence). I'd like to take this opportunity to greet my talented colleagues (especially my excellent retired friend, Jacques Gantié, food critic) at this newspaper, now part of Nice Matin. The owner always provides a warm, courteous, quick, and friendly welcome, not to mention the home-style cooking, particularly the magnificent and delicious couscous that attracts a large number of regulars of all ages. And I couldn't even finish it, it was so generous! It's true that this couscous (served on Wednesdays and Saturdays) is a benchmark and truly unique! It's also beautifully presented in several courses. I finished with a delicious warm apple tart. Kudos to the chef! A truly excellent value for money, €24 including an aperitif, a good old-fashioned Suze, and coffee. As a result, we were compelled to return, if only to savor his renowned aioli on Fridays (with a small anisette) and to see his friendly owner again. Yes, there are still friendly owners out there!

06/06/2026: Hello, I ordered takeout and was quite disappointed. 38 euros for a pizza that was overcooked, and a risotto that looked like it came in a packet of Uncle Ben's (a brand of instant mashed potatoes). Luckily, it had some flavor, so I don't know if I just caught them on a bad night or if it's always like this. But the rice pudding and the overcooked pizza are not great for an Italian restaurant; it's just not up to par.

03/06/2026: Delicious food, service a little slow but the owner is single-handed and does a fantastic job in the kitchen and with the service 💪👍 However, the atmosphere and decor are a bit austere. I recommend the saporita pizza, it's amazing 😋🫶

29/06/2026: From the outside, it looks quite unassuming, but inside it's amazing. A seemingly endless buffet that leaves nothing to be desired. From oysters, lobster, sushi, and dim sum to every imaginable Chinese dish, a huge selection of cheeses, and all kinds of sweets, there's something for everyone. And all at an unbeatable price. We'll definitely be back.

26/04/2026: As a regular customer, coming several times a week, I know this bakery well because it's located right next to my work... I'm torn between the convenience of its proximity and a few persistent issues, despite the staff doing their best. At lunchtime: The biggest drawback is clearly the slow service. Waiting in the left-hand line to order food can take 20 minutes. Some people don't understand, then cut in front of you when they realize they're in the wrong place. The system isn't optimal. While other bakeries or busy shops have a single cashier handling payments while the others serve... here, each server handles their own order, preparation, and payment at ONE register for sometimes two or three people! It's far too slow at lunchtime, and it's increasingly making me avoid going there during my break. Regarding the food quality, everything is fine, similar to any bakery, with a few differences like the pizzas being made on-site, which aren't bad at all. The rest is comparable to the competition. The prices are also on par. The bread is good, and the pastries are very good. There's a loyalty card system, but nothing advantageous, and more importantly, they never ask for it. It's difficult to justify reminding us of our loyalty five times a week. In short, the food is decent, the staff is great, but the lunchtime service is terrible.
