28/04/2026: We held our daughter's christening at L'Olivade on a Saturday at lunchtime. The restaurant was reserved exclusively for us. There were 28 adults and 4 children. The meal was delicious, and the service was impeccable. Thank you to the entire team for the organization and the quality of the food! Everyone was delighted.

From the cocktail to the main course and dessert (only the duck breast, ordered rare, was actually medium-rare; we didn't want to waste any, so we informed the waitress at the end of the meal). A very warm welcome and excellent service. Original cocktails!

09/06/2026: The French toast was very dry, a bit like a croque monsieur, and the chicken in the Caesar salad was a little thin ☹️

03/05/2026: I love this place! I've been four times already. Every time I go to Strasbourg, I eat here. It's very peaceful and not touristy. The food is typical of Alsace. The coffee is some of the best I've ever had, and the desserts are delicious.

04/06/2026: Very disappointed with the pizzas I ordered today ((1) seafood, (2) four cheese, (3) American, and (4) Forestière). The first pizza was soggy and tasteless; the second had way too much blue cheese, an undercooked crust; the third had flavorless tomato sauce, very little Boursin cheese, and the meat was unseasoned; the fourth was soggy, tasteless, and the crust was half-cooked. The chicken and cream were nowhere to be seen, and the crust was only half-cooked.

27/06/2026: This isn't cooking, it's reheated food. Nothing is homemade. We eat better at home. A fast-food restaurant... without a carafe of water on the table. See for yourself.

25/06/2026: A very warm welcome. The staff are very attentive. A great introduction to Ardèche cuisine. The terrace overlooking the square is lovely.

08/04/2026: We went there before and after the renovation, and both times we were disappointed. It's not good value for money. For me, a fish casserole is something you expect a lot from, especially when they list all the allergens and everything else you should find on the first page. I'm really sorry, but I was hungry, and my husband didn't eat the fish; it was so bland. €24 per plate, even the bread was bland. I make better at home. Nothing made us want to come back, sorry. Not even your new decor. Best of luck.

29/11/2025: If you want a lunch special that's been reheated or simply kept warm for ages (today's chicken cordon bleu), go for it! Otherwise, steer clear! And to top it off, the wine we ordered never arrived... And the hanger steak was definitely half a hanger steak! And the lady at the counter, she needs to know when to stop!

22/05/2026: Being of Italian descent myself, I can attest that the food at this restaurant, which I've been frequenting for years, is authentic and delicious. It brings back wonderful childhood memories. That's rare, therefore precious, and it feels so good! They're not lacking in innovation either: the pizza they offer during the holidays (the one with pear, walnuts, and gorgonzola, if I remember correctly) is a true delight. Every year, I eagerly await its return to the menu. And my husband is crazy about the pistachio tiramisu 😋. The service is always friendly and professional. I recommend it 100%. You do Italy proud and bring great joy to those who appreciate its cuisine. Above all, keep up the good work!

21/05/2026: I don't often leave reviews… but when something is perfect, it's worth mentioning. The welcome was really cool and professional. The customer service was perfect too. I ordered a dish and it was absolutely delicious: tender meat, perfect side dish. And the chili pepper was excellent, with lots of flavor. It might not be a fancy restaurant, but the server who served me did so with genuine care, and that's what makes this place truly great! A big thumbs up! 👏
