10/10/2026: Came here with my family while visiting Paris and it was just perfect! The food was incredible and the service was fantastic. We were served by the lovely Laurent who was very funny and happy to answer any of our questions about the menu/wine. Would definitely recommend stopping here for dinner!

25/07/2026: The food selection was good, and the service was very friendly and attentive. When it's busy, there can be longer wait times. Because it's always so crowded, seating is limited, so it's often impossible to find a table.

26/09/2026: Passing through Saujon, we discovered this restaurant run by a fellow countryman (we're from the Creuse region). The welcome was incredibly warm, and the food was excellent, hearty, and, what's more, very affordable! It's a shame I live so far away, otherwise I'd eat there every day! And for those who are interested, they sometimes serve calf's head! Yum!

13/09/2026: Had lunch by the water, just like last year. The owner is a first-class chatterbox, as well as a great customer builder and salesperson. Lovely people. The pizza is top-notch! Generously topped with fresh ingredients. Baked in a wood-fired oven.

06/09/2026: €5 for a bottle of water (San Pellegrino in a non-returnable plastic bottle)!!! Seriously, did they think they were on the Croisette? I understand there's inflation, but at that price, it's not inflation, it's highway robbery. Never again.

01/08/2026: I arrived in Lauzerte (a stunning medieval village 🤩) completely by chance and was charmed by the atmosphere, the welcome, and the chill vibe of the place (dreamy musical ambiance). I recommend it a thousand times over to anyone who wants to feel "at home" ❤️

06/06/2026: I didn't have the disgrace of eating at this establishment, and I have absolutely no intention of doing so. I am a woman traveling alone, and I was assaulted by two men about ten meters from this restaurant. They started by hitting my dog, then openly threatened me with rape, shouting in the street and being physically threatening. The waiter who was there came out to tell us he didn't care and to "go do it somewhere else" (which they did), and offered me absolutely no assistance. 👍 I therefore agree with the previous comments describing the service as unpleasant and disrespectful.

30/05/2026: A wonderful experience at this restaurant! Everything went perfectly from start to finish. The dining room is warm, pleasant, and beautifully appointed, making for a truly enjoyable meal. The dishes are generous, delicious, and prepared with care. The price is very reasonable considering the quality offered. Thank you to the entire team for their warm welcome and professionalism. 15/09/2026: Friendly welcome even though we arrived 5 minutes before closing time. Nice selection. I like the long-life crepes. Haven't tried the fresh ones yet, they were all sold out when we arrived.

26/09/2026: The reception service was terrible, the person was in a very bad mood! If they don't know anything about customer service, that simply shouldn't be their job!

25/09/2026: The toilets only accept coins, and it's impossible to pay by card. This is truly unacceptable.

21/09/2026: Good evening. I wanted to treat my daughter, who was getting married on November 5th, and she wanted the lunch at the Soprano restaurant located in the République district at 2 Rue Dupetit Thouars. She had arranged with the manager to reserve the terrace, which is quite large and can accommodate 120 people, at a rate of 30 euros per person. If you do the math, this amount should have been enough to properly feed all the guests. At 1:30 pm, when many people had been standing for quite some time, I asked if it would be possible to get chairs so they could at least sit down. There were many empty tables, but of course, the manager refused to let them occupy a table that was already free, explaining that chairs and tables would be added. This was despite the fact that the agreement stipulated there would be standing guests. What the agreement didn't foresee was that at 1:30 PM, these forty or so guests, still standing and having neither eaten nor drunk anything, preferred to leave to find food elsewhere in the neighborhood. The few tasteless pizzas that arrived were cut into tiny slices of ten, as was their PDO cheese, served on a plate meant for twelve with a few salad leaves. If the cook had to feed Oompa Loompas, I could have understood, but there was a clear principle that wasn't respected, and a restaurant that cares about its customers should adhere to it. It's true that the trendy neighborhood doesn't exactly encourage restaurants to serve real food. Germans who were guests at the wedding explained to me that in Germany, a restaurant like this would close the very next day. It seems this kind of ersatz cuisine has a bright future in this area. So, I'm taking the liberty of writing this long message to anyone tempted to book this terrace for a private event; it's the only positive element of the setting—a large terrace. For the rest, everything was in keeping with the same pattern: a few A4-sized pizzas to share among 10, and cheese platters for 120 people; 12 one-liter bottles of Coke, about fifteen bottles of wine, unlimited water, and pizzas arriving in dribs and drabs due to a service that prioritized customers at tables. There was, of course, dessert: tiramisu, also to be shared, after the vast majority had already left, accompanied by a glass of champagne. This dish contained all the elements one would typically find at a summer camp. I asked for a refund for the 40 people who had nothing to eat and had to find something to eat elsewhere, by paying for what they had already paid for their meals. Unfortunately, I received no response, but given that I chose "Soprano" as the restaurant's name, all of this is quite to be expected. To all those who love to eat and whose primary culinary virtue is not blandness, then absolutely avoid this place; there are much better restaurants in this neighborhood.

14/09/2026: I had been several times before and had never been disappointed until my last visit yesterday, which unfortunately left a bitter taste. The main problem was the service, marked by far too long wait times: to be seated, to receive the menus, to place our order, and then to be served drinks. The waitresses were friendly, but there was a clear lack of organization and training. For example, water glasses were placed on the table, but without water or a carafe, until the drinks arrived... we're still wondering what the point was. It's a shame, because the place is really pleasant and the cocktails are very good.

01/08/2026: A beautiful venue to enjoy wonderful shows in the style of Piaf, Barbara... I really appreciated the style and the feeling of stepping back in time.

16/08/2026: A traditional French boulangerie at the heart of Lyon's old town. Tried many of the foods but the ones that stand out are the croissant, the pain au chocolat and the ficelle.

16/08/2026: A boulangerie that's a great stop to see something unique and try a traditional dessert. We might say it's beautiful and delicious, but in the end, it's a block of butter with sugared almonds. Good, but personally, I prefer something else. That said, as a tourist stop, I think it deserves an 8 out of 10.

14/03/2026: It is permanently closed; it has been bought out.

06/03/2026: The restaurant is now closed (since February 2026). The pizzeria "Pizzati" is taking over the space and expanding. It's a shame, the food was really good and generous, and the staff were friendly and helpful!
