09/05/2026: An ideal place to go for a drink, lunch or dinner

18/04/2026: Hello, I don't usually write this type of review, but I was disappointed with this establishment. I contacted them but received no response, so I wanted to share my experience. First, I want to clarify that this message is intended to be constructive and help improve the experience for future guests. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with our stay, especially compared to the expectations associated with your establishment's 5-star rating. Regarding the overwater bungalow: • The size and layout did not match the photos on Booking and other platforms. We had a bungalow of approximately 20 square meters, without a lounge area, which was less comfortable than we had imagined. • The sloping floor was difficult to live in, and a constant noise, probably from the pump, disturbed our stay despite our complaints. • The finishing touches in the suite were disappointing: damaged and torn curtains, a poorly attached toilet paper holder, no way to play music, a telephone not fixed to the wall, and marks and imperfections on the walls and paint. These details give an overall impression of lower quality than one would expect from a 5-star hotel. Regarding the spa: • Upon arrival, we waited 10 minutes without being greeted. • Bathrobes and towels were neither available nor neatly arranged, which created confusion regarding seating. We therefore shared a lounge chair, and no drinks were offered. • The spa did not match the images: no hammam, only a small sauna, and the showers showed signs of mold. The slippers appeared to be reused, which was neither pleasant nor hygienic. Regarding breakfast: • Arriving at 10:00 AM, several items were missing. For €36, the service seemed somewhat out of step with what is offered on-site. Other points: • I noticed on resale sites that some prices were lower than those offered directly by the hotel, with additional services included. When I mentioned this, the response was that it was due to supply and demand. It remains surprising, especially for 5-star establishments, that third parties can offer a lower price than the hotel. Positive points: • The staff who took us to the boat were very friendly and welcoming. • The sommelier was pleasant and attentive. In summary, our overall experience did not live up to our expectations for a 5-star stay, and I was quite disappointed. However, I hope that this feedback will be taken constructively to improve services and the satisfaction of future guests. 03/06/2026: One-night stay with meals. Upon our arrival at 3:45 PM, everything was closed, and it was only after calling the hotel that the owner, the restaurant's chef, came to open the door for us! We were disappointed by the meal, which was mediocre despite being advertised as "chef's cuisine"... the chef himself served us, dressed in jeans and sneakers, along with his two apprentice waitresses from Central Africa, who were nice but not up to the standard expected of this type of establishment. Nice wine list. In short, a disappointment.

16/05/2026: Thank you for the excellent dinner. We didn't stay at the hotel, but we had a wonderful time at the restaurant. The service and food were impeccable! A very nice restaurant!

20/06/2026: Order a strawberry cake. Excellent, fresh, and generous. I give it a 10/10. Very good pastry chef, well done, sir!

21/04/2026: I'm 55 years old, and despite that, I've never eaten such good croissants! Flavorful, crispy, and not greasy.

11/09/2026: Think you know bouillabaisse? Forget it and come try Pascaline's fisherman's stew, saffron-infused and spiced to perfection... a few tables, a relaxed, local atmosphere, everything is delicious, and on top of that, a daily selection of takeaway dishes... Bravo!

16/08/2026: A very good little restaurant, meals prepared to order, everything is fresh and extremely delicious! We are tourists and came twice in the same week because we enjoyed our meals so much. There was a bit of a wait, but Pascaline is working alone. Remember to book!

02/09/2026: A very pleasant restaurant in the center of Brest. The welcome and service were friendly and attentive. The food was excellent, light and flavorful. The dining room is lovely, with a beautiful aquarium. An excellent choice in Brest.

21/08/2026: A birthday dinner with friends. We were looking for a good restaurant to enjoy some delicious food. We headed to Nautilus! And then came the surprise... A limited and basic menu (hamburgers, fish and chips, pollock with vegetables that turned out to be puree). In short, there's definitely a problem in the kitchen (no cook? Recruitment issues?). It wasn't bad per se, but nowhere near the standard of previous offerings and not what we were expecting... The service was adequate, and the atmosphere was still calm and pleasant for chatting with friends. A bit disappointed...

29/08/2026: We return every year with just as much pleasure. Delicious grilled meats cooked to perfection! For andouillette lovers, don't hesitate, especially since few restaurants offer them in the summer. Always a friendly welcome. I highly recommend it ❤️

22/08/2026: A very nice kid-friendly place with a lovely children's play area in the summer.

12/06/2026: This restaurant is definitely worth a visit. The owner is amazing! We loved it!!! He's a generous man and the food is exquisite! We can't wait to come back!!!!

21/05/2026: We came to dinner with a friend, the owner harassed us at the table, made racist and misogynistic remarks, and refused to leave us alone, so we left the table without eating. Horrible experience.

18/09/2026: We arrived as a group of 10, without a reservation, and we had a very good meal. Excellent cuisine with Jura specialties. Very welcoming staff. Highly recommended.

24/08/2026: Our dishes, white pudding, sausages were good except that the salad had lost its freshness and the so-called homemade blueberry cake certainly wasn't.

14/09/2026: If you're in Soissons and need lunch, I recommend this restaurant. The place is charming. The staff is excellent. The food is delicious, especially the fish stew.

12/09/2026: I came with my younger brother and sister (aged 16 and 14), knowing that I'm 30 and they are my legal guardians. We were told to leave by 10 pm because I'm not their legal guardian. I think that's a shame, considering we just wanted to relax and have a drink. I know how to manage my siblings; I would never have given them a single alcoholic drink. We won't be back!

14/09/2026: We try to eat at the Auberge every time we're on holiday in the area. Update 2026: I learned that the waitress is retiring at the end of August, but I didn't have time to come one last time... If she happens to see this, happy retirement, ma'am!

29/08/2026: So, how can I put it? You arrive at the entrance, and only one out of the three people you see says hello after five minutes, and then not a word. Five minutes later, they ask if you have a reservation, you tell them no, and then they tell you it won't be possible because it's too busy, even though you saw there were tables available when you arrived. So, clearly, I don't recommend it, if only because of the reception.

16/09/2026: Very good local food and drinks for good prices. Nice setting and friendly service. We had the cordon blue with munster and highly recommend it.

06/09/2026: The food is good, but it's really too noisy. There's a good selection on the menu.

31/08/2026: The welcome was poor from beginning to end. Upon arrival, the staff barely greeted us, too busy chatting amongst themselves. We were seated with barely concealed annoyance, as if our presence there was somehow inconvenient. There was no consideration whatsoever, the service was cold, and there was a blatant lack of professionalism. Hospitality is, after all, the foundation of any restaurant. This establishment should be avoided if you're looking for a pleasant experience.

10/10/2026: A good, quick meal. Good value for money.
