03/04/2026: After a wonderful visit to a beautifully restored property, it's unacceptable that the contract received differs so much from the details provided during the tour. Contract: Maximum 150 people per visit; 150 in the main hall and 50 in the other section, or 200 seated outdoors. Contract: 60 bottles of wine must be purchased from the chatelaine's establishment. The lady on the tour is a sommelier and can advise you on your wine choices if needed. The contract requires you to order beer and chive cider. The tour includes a beer tap on-site, so you save money by not having to order any. In short, it's really inappropriate to hide the intention of providing everything (and thus earning commissions on each service in addition to the nearly €11,000 rental fee) during the tour. So, the site is magnificent, but I strongly advise against it until the overall offer is clear from the very first exchanges. Making money is fine, but do it properly and transparently... Guillaume

09/11/2025: Fantastic restaurant! The service was incredibly fast when we had very little time to eat, the welcome was very warm, and the homemade dishes were all very reasonably priced. Thank you, and we'll be back when we're in training.

04/05/2026: We waited 30 minutes for a crepe, of course, and it never arrived. What's more, the order hadn't even been placed with the cooks. At no point did they offer an apology. We decided to leave without ordering the meal we had originally chosen. No compensation was offered, and I have absolutely no positive experience at this restaurant. A huge waste of time in this restaurant for nothing.

02/05/2026: Vanilla or strawberry milkshake, it's milk with a barely chilled syrup, and definitely not iced, €18 with an espresso, it's ridiculous!

26/05/2026: Paradise! It's impossible to pass by this marvel without stopping. You'll find everything: a restaurant, a crêperie, a souvenir shop, and you can visit the park and the vegetable garden. After two hours, you'll leave with your eyes full of memories.

The food, the service, and the atmosphere were all perfect, and we'll cherish unforgettable memories! Thank you to the Timgad team, both in the kitchen and in the dining room!

03/04/2026: Passing through a small village near Fontainebleau, we were simply looking to stop for a coffee around 11 a.m. Several establishments share the square, including the Brasserie Samoisienne, which proudly displays the promise of a "warm bistro" on its facade. A promise that, alas, remained just that—a promise. On the terrace, the tables were already set for lunch service. Nothing unusual at that time, especially since two tables were occupied by customers comfortably seated, coffee in hand. So we waited for a member of staff to arrive, naively thinking we could be seated. What followed was… surprising. The employee, barely having arrived, curtly informed us that there was "no room," pointing to the tables already set as if their mere presence was enough to prohibit any service. No alternative was offered, no gesture of welcome was made, not even the suggestion of directing us inside. The tone, however, left little room for interpretation: a clear, abrupt, almost dismissive refusal. A way of saying "move along" that left a bitter taste, especially in a village where one expects a minimum of friendliness. Ironically, the "cozy bistro" was only welcoming to those already seated. For everyone else, the welcome seemed optional. We finally crossed the square to go to the pizzeria opposite, where the welcome was the complete opposite: smiling, simple, human, and where several customers were seated with their coffees and the tables were being set as noon approached. It just goes to show that a few meters are sometimes enough to completely change the experience. Reply to the restaurant owner: I understand, then, that your waitress offered to seat us inside. That's interesting: we were right in front of her, yet the message must have been delivered in "ultra-discreet" fashion. Perhaps a new reception concept is in place, reserved for customers with an internal radar. I completely understand that the tables are set for lunchtime service. What surprises me more is that a simple coffee at 11 a.m. seems to represent an insurmountable logistical challenge. As for your waitress, perhaps it would be wise to examine her approach to customers. A little less sarcasm, a little more hospitality, and everyone would benefit, including your establishment. And since we're on the subject of improvement: placing a little trust in walk-in customers can only be beneficial for your business. They are often the ones who discover a place, talk about it to others… or not, depending on the reception they receive. Besides, your reaction suggests that criticism might not be your cup of tea. Yet, it's an integral part of running a business and can even be useful, if you're willing to listen. I also note that following my comment, your opening hours have been changed and now indicate a midday opening. This shows that criticism can sometimes be beneficial, even when it's not appreciated.

14/05/2026: A must-visit in Antony! It's always a great pleasure to stop by Café de la Gare. Whether for a quick lunch, dinner with friends, or simply a coffee on the terrace, the experience is impeccable from start to finish. The welcome: As soon as you walk through the door, you're greeted with a smile. The staff is exceptionally kind, very attentive without being intrusive. You immediately feel at home, which is so precious these days. The food: Flawless! The dishes are generous, fresh, and flavorful. You can tell the ingredients are high-quality and prepared with care. Special mention goes to the classic dishes on the menu, which are always perfectly executed. It's authentic cuisine that delights the taste buds. The atmosphere: The setting is both friendly and lively. The decor adds a warm touch, and the terrace is particularly pleasant on sunny days. It's the ideal place to unwind and have a great time in a truly enjoyable atmosphere. And finally, a very special mention for the cocktails; we're eagerly awaiting the new menu. 16/05/2026: Unpleasant staff, especially the blonde woman behind the counter. Honestly disappointed, especially considering the food was decent! Have a good day, and be careful when hiring your employees because they really don't make you want to come back!

07/05/2026: Very disappointed with our experience at Eat Sushi. We ordered for 7:30 pm and finally received our order at 8:20 pm, almost an hour late. The restaurant runs promotional offers without having the staff to keep up with demand, and it's the customers who suffer the consequences. We ordered specifically to avoid the hassle of waiting after a long day at work, and in the end, our evening was completely ruined. The "gesture of goodwill" offered—four cans of soda and some soy sauce—is far from sufficient given the delay and the inconvenience. Very disappointing, especially for a chain that's supposed to be organized.
