07/03/2026: The food is excellent and the service is good. I'm less keen on the noise (at lunchtime, as I haven't tried it in the evening). The owner is very fast-paced but attentive, as are his staff. It just needs a less stressful and less noisy atmosphere to be perfect. I just tried the restaurant in the evening and it's a completely different atmosphere. I now recommend it, but only in the evening.

21/03/2026: Very pleasant, we had places to eat in the sun. The added bonus was the post-meal stroll to La Treille, following in Pagnol's footsteps. I recommend it. Reservations are essential.

22/03/2026: The staff are very friendly, the portions are generous, and the service is quick. We ordered a Milanese-style veal cutlet and a duck breast with gratin.

15/03/2026: We had lunch at le Dauphin. The food was decent, but nothing special. I was so looking forward to a bowl of muscles but that too was a bit bland. The table hadn’t been wiped, there was still tomato sauce from yesterday. The server was pleasant with us but then got into an argument with another table. Price wise, it was ok. Especially for the day special. Nice looking plate of fish with dessert.

21/03/2026: The restaurant gets a good rating because they invented a "wheel of fortune" system where you win a dessert. Of course, you spin it at the beginning of your meal, and the wheel doesn't work. So you rate the restaurant before you even eat—illogical, but clever. It's also only rated for that reason because it's very average/neutral. Not worth the price.

23/03/2026: Professional and friendly staff. Great location. Environmental awareness: no recycling bins (human waste piles up in a large, shameful bin, so this is a step backwards and a real shame). It's sad that a business owner isn't making an effort... in a resort that aims to be clean and smoke-free on the slopes. They should stop selling their awful verbena infusion (non-organic and overpriced) packaged in plastic and offer three organic options in paper packaging... so, at the very least, they should include eco-friendly choices in their sourcing.

19/03/2026: Pure bliss. Let me explain. Arriving just before the slopes open at 8:45 am, having a coffee at Le Farinaud. Skiing from 9 am to 12:45 pm. Enjoying a dish like Diots-crozets at Le Farinaud with a good beer and settling down on the fantastic terrace. Savoring this magical moment. And let's not forget the owner's beautiful smile! Thank you, Le Farinaud! 😍
