22/09/2026: I went to get some duck confit shepherd's pie to take away, the service was excellent, the food was excellent, thank you and see you soon!

06/09/2026: We enjoyed high-quality meals, with excellent meat and exceptional homemade sauces. Our two children were delighted by the service and the staff's friendliness. I highly recommend it!

11/10/2026: Duobang d’Or is an all-you-can-eat restaurant with potential, but unfortunately, several drawbacks spoil the experience. As for the food, the sushi is good and quite enjoyable. However, the fried dishes are rather disappointing and could be improved. The desserts, meanwhile, are far too sweet for my taste. Regarding the service, it's quite paradoxical. The servers come by very frequently to clear the tables, which could be a real plus. But after a while, it becomes almost intrusive! Sometimes our plates are taken away just as we've finished our last bite. Another rather annoying detail: the clearing is very selective. The plates disappear quickly, but the empty glasses, bottles, and small containers remain on the table and end up cluttering it. It's hard to understand this logic. In short, this restaurant has some good points, especially its sushi, but the experience is unfortunately marred by a series of minor inconveniences. It's a shame, because with a few adjustments in the kitchen and especially in the service, the establishment could be much more enjoyable.

11/09/2026: Dinner around 19:15 - table for two available. Saltimbocca alla Romana, veal in lemon sauce, tiramisu and a bottle of rose - excellent. Service great.

02/05/2026: I ate there with friends on Wednesday evening, we ate well, the service was fast and the staff were super friendly, we even took the time to have a laugh with them.

20/05/2026: The hotel was clean with friendly and welcoming staff. However, I was quite disappointed by the room in the basement, with corridors that felt more like a service area than a hotel. The bedding was also very uncomfortable, and I woke up with severe back pain. The soundproofing was also poor: you could hear a lot of foot traffic in the corridors, suitcases being moved, and doors slamming.

11/04/2026: We received a very warm welcome and were treated like royalty. The rooms are excellent, clean, and spacious. We are delighted.

16/09/2026: Lovely to find this charming place in the sleepy village of Cailhau. We were hot, tired and hungry after walking a stretch of the Voie Verte and we received a warm welcome including our large dog. The menu offered more variety than you find in many places around here and the food was well prepared. I had an aubergine parmigiana which was delicious. We will certainly be back.

08/07/2026: We stopped there on our way to our holiday destination. We had a very good meal; the food was excellent. There were several choices for starters and desserts. Perfect value for money.

02/07/2026: Perfect, the food was top-notch, homemade with a perfect chocolate mousse. The waitresses were very attentive, quick, and efficient. I highly recommend it.

28/07/2026: I have lunch there three times a week, and it's always a pleasure, both in terms of the welcome and the quality and variety of the food. On a personal note, the staff and the owner are very charming people who will make sure your lunch is perfect. If you're looking for a healthy, delicious, and reasonably priced alternative to the other options in the neighborhood, go for it!

19/09/2026: Their butter chicken is absolutely incredible! It's become my go-to comfort food, and with their generous portions, it often lasts me two meals!

18/09/2026: The food was tasteless, straight from the pre-packaged bags, barely warm. I don't understand where the 4 stars came from.

14/09/2026: Small grocery store/snack bar on the Camino de Santiago. Good taste, but the quiche portion was small for the price. Very friendly welcome and a pleasant terrace for a well-deserved break.

30/08/2026: Unannounced change of ownership over the phone. We were hoping to find Julie and Julien again, and especially their cooking. Disappointment… dishes advertised as homemade but tasteless and without sauce for the meat and fish. The meal was saved by the dessert. On the other hand, the price is reasonable. We probably won't be back.
